Silver Bells Plays on the Radio (Take 2)

This is the same thing I posted a year ago, but tweaked a little. The big change is that I rerecorded the vocals, concentrating on being in tune. I did one other background track that is almost inaudible, but helps (it is during the last third). And there is very slight tweaking of the mixdown. Not much, but the new vocals helps!
Here is from last year:
Saturday (11th of December, 2022) I was driving in the cold rain. Someone was tailgating me even though there was a car in front of me. I had been thinking of writing a holiday song, and so the words just flowed. I had all of the lyrics written before I got home. Sunday (the 12th) I wrote and recorded the music. I know, it is dark, but it ends in hope :) I sung, badly, the lyrics today (the 13th) after work. Most instruments are Prophet Rev 2. Bass is Behringer Poly-D. One odd thing - try counting it out ;)
OK, this time I will tell you - it is in five-four time. Not many Christmas songs in five-four... - เพลง

Thanks, Li. I was having issues with my voice last year and so decided the ugly take fit the dark lyrics, but I soon grew to dislike it.

Terrific Christmas song, Trent. It feels right for the season. It should be on the radio! You know, I think covid not just messes with the voice, but the ears as well. Your voice is getting stronger. Love it!
I had a very mild case, but when I tried do do things, like the original version of this video, well, I am sure it many lingering effects, and the ears may have been part of it...
Thanks, glad you liked this! It is strange for a Christmas song - a bit dark and in a very odd meter! The verse/chorus format is not quite normal. I personally like it, but that doesn't mean anything ;)

@@ResaMcConaghy It ends in hope :) Most of the words are about some of the things and people that make this time of year less jolly. (I wasn't feeling that down when I wrote it, but it fit the rainy drive..)
