@The tickets for the shows here weren't too bad, way cheaper than a lot of other concerts - a third the price of the current NIN tour going around. What's costing me is airfare. I live literally across the country from the show.
@Jay Bee Dude, I feel the same way! There's good stuff on other albums, but this one is just a huge leap forward in comparison. And I really only knew Play and WD when I started, and I was really lackluster towards much of the rest the first couple listens. But each successive listen, I hear something I missed the last time, something new stands out somewhere, and I just got sucked completely into this whole album. Only one song I really don't love, but I can't think of the name at the moment

When I first heard Band-Maid 2 or 3 years ago, I was totally addicted to the first couple songs they produced. I thought, "I wonder if all their songs are this good." It's very rare a band can produce brilliance song after song, album after album. I think there are maybe a handful of songs I don't care for, mostly from their softest/pop type album when they were experimenting with different sounds. Didn't much care for most of that album, but it was interesting to hear them try something different. Otherwise, there just isn't much to complain about regarding their music, stage presence and even stage personalities. Band-Maid is a #RealOne

My subscriber sent me here and I was pleasantly surprised that they are actually good. I can actually listen to this and enjoy. Totally different from the usual 'idol music' in Japan.
They have some idol roots, but it's just a band Yuta. You're liable to get kicked in the face by crowd surfers at their shows. So I prefer the livehouse style cuz it's more enjoyable rocking out with a little bit of personal space. If you want to take from actual idols... then Predia, who have done work with BAND-MAID members before (もちとちーず`) and Babyraids Japan are a good place to start, since they both have strong lead singers.
That Japanese Man Yuta the only idol about this band is that one of the members is a former idol, as far as music goes they are just classic rock band that will rock your ears yuta

Pretty common with great Japanese bands. Great Japanese bands had done that many many years ago. X Japan is one big example. Combining hard rock/metal elements with catchy pop tune. Band-maid is a great band, no doubt.
@@MrBooblo086 It might not sound very much, but for Kanami tone is everything. During the songs she is always doing her uppermost keeping thing fresh. She is not the typical superfast shredder, but a fantastic riff-master! Quite underrated IMO.
This was an excellent choice for the movie Kate. This was the song that originally hooked me on the band and I think it's an excellent introduction to the band for non-fans/new fans. To all those who came here after watching Kate, welcome to the fandom.

Ok 5 strings bass, sickening shredding, drummer dropping the beat at 170 bpm minimum. These girls are better and rocking harder than most of new bands nowadays. My subscriber sent me here and I was pleasantly surprised that they are actually good. I can actually listen to this and enjoy. Totally different from the usual 'idol music' in Japan.
They have some idol roots, but it's just a band Yuta. You're liable to get kicked in the face by crowd surfers at their shows. So I prefer the livehouse style cuz it's more enjoyable rocking out with a little bit of personal space.
If you want to take from actual idols... then Predia, who have done work with BAND-MAID members before (もちとちーず`) and Babyraids Japan are a good place to start, since they both have strong lead singers.

If you are new to them: Kanami is the composer (lead guitarist at the right). Saiki, in the producer’s position (lead vocalist with a blue rose) asked Kanami to write another song like Choose me. Kanami ended up writing quite a different song, After Life.

Showed what a true fan he is of Band-Maid also with all the details like MISA’s whiskey bottle on her amp and listing the ladies in the credits in the order that Band-Maid was formed. Please keep listening to every song they have here on YT. I found them 10 months ago and by now I have all their albums and all their DVDs. Band-Maid are an amazing hardrock band, IMHO the best hard rock band since the 70s if not forever, they have become my favorite band of all times :-)

Ok 5 strings bass, sickening shredding, drummer dropping the beat at 170 bpm minimum. These girls are better and rocking harder than most of new bands nowadays. Dang I got fucking jealous when I played rock for 5 years now and only good as half as that lead guitarist. Subscribed and ready to pay any of these band new album.
