If u need more bass please
1)use the movie mode
2) go through the app with the headphones turned off ,the *the internal speaker option is gonna pop up, with wasn't there before, press on it the press on flat, at the battom of the screes the app is gonna give you 2 more options,
BASS BOOST and TREBLE BOOST, by default they are both set on low*
I use mine on 💯% treble boost and 70% bass boost,
MAN,...THEY GONNA RUMBLE ON YOUR YEARS AND YOU GONNA LIKE THEM MORE..
I have this headphones for three years now, and I found out that secret after one year...

@@UlfMTG I've been using mine for like 2 and a half years let me tell you they've gone through some shit like these headphones are very durable but something that can happen to you that has happened to me is when i turn on noise cancelation it buzzes but let me assure you that was due to my friend yeeting them down the hallway (they were really pissed with me) anyway i just want you to know these are really good and no problems with the touch controls

Why i need to use the headset battery while using the wire
for the Sennheisers, can I use the ANC with the sennheiser connected via usb or the audio jack?? or the ANC only will work in wireless mode??
Do they sound a bit weird in HipHop tracks or are just mine's who have an issue? Also do you suggest any eq settings for hip hop? thank you

Another secret on this headphones is the way you can make a call with the last number u dialed without touching your phone,..
It doesn't matter the phone screen is in sleep mode or not, *JUST SWIPE BACK ON THE EAR CUP THEN HOLD IN THE MIDDLE OFIT FOR 2 SECONDS, THE VOICE IS GONNA COME UP SAYING redial*

I like the Beats studio 3s & the Sony 1000xm3's also. Sony makes some really good cheaper cans also. Mdr series is really good for the price. Anyway thank you again!!!!👍🏻

Thank you... I've noticed that lately the instructions are pretty incomplete. Relying on the instructions have led me to leave out a lot of good details in previous videos as well.

I had these since 2018 and have worked pretty well for what I paid around $170 on sale. Lack of Bluetooth 5 got annoying and has a bit of a whistle with the wind. Otherwise really solid. My new AirPods Max are superior in almost every way but cost wayyyy more.
EQ only works for music played through CapTunes app so pretty much ones saved to your phone etc. Btw great vid. I think FX Director mode gets the best out of them sound quality wise.

The reason why you not hearing any variations with the EQ is that the music has to be downloaded onto your phone or through a specified app or so from the music player or the Sennheiser app. You cannot play music through Pandora or any other music player to hear the effects.
For Google assistant swipe forward then hold in the middle of the year cup for 2 second then the voice mode is activated (Google assistant)

I have so many now. I've had these since March this year. My issue is they just aren't loud enough. Everything else is a tie or better than the Sony XM3. Also the USB-C.

i've had them for 5 months and am beginning to hate them, phone receiving issues and so on. Wish i bought the sonys because i bought them for the same price.
They are 3 years old and the predecessor (pxc550 2) is coming out in October they are still my personal headphones besides possibly human headphones arriving next week
How are you finding your human headphones? Mine sounded like straight trash so i returned them ASAP

no, a bad quality cable could influence the charging speed, but as long as the cable is not damaged there's no problem using it.
Loved mine for six months, but serious quality control issues my man!
Left ear arm is loose, and leather padding ripped, the ear cups here in Canada, got to order from Amazon, 45$ plus 20$ shipping!
Lastly, battery only lasts about 4 hours now!
Update! Contacted the company as they have a two year warranty! Asked me to ship them and they’ll handle it! Glad to see that, originally I bought them for 549$ cause.. canadian prices. Haha. They’re now 299$ :(
How long did you had your 550’s for? I had mine for a little over a month now and haven’t had a single issue with it.
✋ 🤚✋ 🤚✋ 🤚 A quick tip. Consider installing "Black Music Player" on your phone. It is a simple music player with a built in equalizer and I've discovered, that if a device specific app does not equalize and/or alter the music to your taste, Black Music Player's EQ can elicit a wide variance in sound completely independent of your phone/or device app equalization. Give it a try and see if it makes a difference.

About the ambient mode double tap the right year cup, it works even better than the Sony's because u have to hold the ear cup all the time, and it looks wierd..
On pxc550 just double tap for ambient mode, and tap just once to resume your music
Great review bro. I am a bass lover myself i listen to lot heavy bass music like hip hip hop and reggae and dance music to but sennhiser i think i have to avoid it.

Me too, where did these come from, I stumbled into them and only heard of the momentum series and Sony and master and dyn..but wow for 2bills, and the 2cd model or mark Ii, has gone down in price due to exactly what you said and the market doesn't lie..Amazon and eBay listing the original more than the Ii..I've noticed this in several instances on eBay and Amazon, and I try out alot of those differences and damn it's really true..e g.(allow the rant for moment) the El gato hd60s and 4k60 are by far or were the mist advanced& universally ubiquitous or in stores, product in the game capture field, and they were selling for retailon Amazon(rarely goes above retail but when sits there for awhile it's a sign,,) and sold for 20-60$ more than retail, and the Sony true wireless800 came out after the 1000 and by all accounts should have been better, but dropped in half in six months but best example is the over ear Sony 700 and 710, the market that is ppl listing freely used, new open box and brand new,(and often I fear nefarious intentioned sellers low ball everyone ridiculously with no sense of business likely looking to get drunk or high,only explanation for selling brand new item for half what you could get thinking ppl will buy it quicker) and on Amazon where theres incentive for everyone to price fix high..the 710 came after and were billed as an upgrade, but IV tried both all Sony's stuff including fones, and they weren't N upgrade, in fact I thought the 700 superior, and wouldn't you know the 710 which were supposed to retail higher,did initially, dropped far below the avg listing price of the 700 quickly but not necessarily everywhere in retail at first..maybe now idk, but the stores and Sony held fast to a higher ,price for the 710 while the 2 big e-commerce said otherwise and the consensus in using them played out vividly on the market field
always wanted to own this pair since last year... but the damn price won't come down XD

Who cares about the USB type on a headphone ? you only use it like once a week. when you tal about headphones there are 3 main subjects to talk about:
-Build quality
-Sound quality
-Comfort

I've tried the version 2 of these, and was so disappointed. The sound is so flat, I was bored to tears. I assume these V1's are the same. Sennheiser put all of the sound quality and bass in to the Momentum series, and focused on making these here a lackluster set of travel ANC cans with too many gimmicky features. I like a full soundstage with deep, resonating bass - Momentum 3's all day long, they're a completely different animal. Don't get me wrong, I hate the looks and fit of the Momentum 3's, but damn they sound good compared to the v2 of these and the Sony XM3's I have. The Momentum 3's are the only headphones I've ever owned where I have yet to touch an EQ - they sound great right out of the box, and slam hard if you throw some rap or aggressive metal at them. They tame down nicely with mellower genres.
You're about the 50th person to mention the Momentum to me. I need to check those out.
@@NewStuffTV1 - They sound great, and the bass is quality bass, you'll likely like that part. But, I'll keep it 100 with you - from one bald man to another, the headband is nearly unbearable. My wife teased the crap out me because of the 2 indentations it left in my head from the 2 tiny "ribs" that it has running along the headband, and only after listening for like 30 minutes. They really didn't take us bald dudes into consideration. I whipped up some padding thingamajiggy in the meantime, until I bother coming up with something legit. So a hat is a must, or some type of padding to use at home - you'll be cussing at all 50 of us in no time without it. For this reason, the Sony's are my "go out and about" cans, and the M3's for home. The M3's are a lot heavier than the Sony XM3's, it's noticeable. So I only wear them for short periods, where as I can rock the Sony's for long sessions. But even with the lackluster comfort and extra weight, I still enjoy the M3's a little more. The call quality is a lot better than I was expecting as well. Keep up the great content :)
You literally are going to get about 0 level soundstaging with any wireless ANC headphones. Also Sennheiser creates many neutral sounding headphones, including the PXC’s, that’s great for studio listening and for listeners who fw a more balanced neutral sound. Sound is subjective, I agree the momentum 3’s are better but the sound of the PXC’s are very specific to a certain demographic and it’s also actually pretty damn affordable. Prefer the PXC’s to the QC’s and WH’s easily
