do not apologize. The whole process is the key to success and your mom has been doing it for years, I want to know how she does it. Words in a cookbook do not let you see the medium ball sugar stage in the cooks hand or see just how long this really does take. Thank you and Merry Christmas to The FARMSTAND LIFE folks.
Regarding Divinity's history, I read the first recipe was published by the Light Corn Syrup manufacturers when it first became available in stores. "The Karo Cookbook" was published in 1912.
I would like to know if I make your recipe, can I get a frosting that is cruncgy on my caje. I just moreover want ny cake to have a crinchy frosting Thank you for your help!
I know you ladies must be tired! I have made divinity for years but I add a cup of hand cut pecans which does help to cool it down but some can not eat nuts. My sister taught me to use 2 long teaspoons to dip it out but I recently saw a lady use 1 long teaspoon and a knife to slide it off the spoon. Looked so easy. I want to try using the knife the next time. Recently heard a lady say the humidity outside is not as important now as it used to be because our homes are more climate controlled with a/c. Said she has made it when raining outside. I enjoyed your video.
Thank you I think I can do this! It’s the whole process. And I’m a visual person.
Yes! You can do it! Have fun!
