Holy smoke, Gary, you are digging up some true oldies from my pre-teen days. Don and Phil certainly had the cool hairdos from the late 50s early 60s. It’s strange how short those old song were. Thanks for the comment Greg, I did one song and it was only 1.39 long and as you say the average time was around 2mins 20 secs. I did read somewhere it was because recording time was so expensive back then. Then came the 80s and some of those were 10 mins long on a 12 inch single.
