Thanks for looking at my videos.
Just a quick story, I started playing drums during lockdown when in my 50s and some of these videos were recorded within the first 18 - 34 months. I know they aren’t perfect but who cares, its just an hobby, now i have retired. So if anyone is thinking they are too old to start playing, give it ago.

This one has a very familiar sound to me. I think I have heard this one before, and seeing/hearing you play to this is a real Thanksgiving Thursday treat for me. Keep ‘em coming, my young friend❤️🙏👏❤️🙏👏❤️.
Many thanks for the comment Greg, yes David Bowie did a cover if it in the 70s and a few others have covered it. Enjoy you thanks giving day , keep smiling 😁👍🥳🥳🙏
Awesome drum cover.
Many thanks bender beat. 👍
Oh, baby, I sure liked this song when it first came out in what seems like the late 60s-early 70s. Thank you for revitalizing this golden oldie with your love of drumming.❤️🙏👏❤️🙏👏❤️
Many thanks for the comment Greg, yes I thought you may know this one I had a look at the chart history even though the group were English this hit was much bigger in the USA, have a good week keep smiling 🙏🥁👍😁
@ Happy day to you too, my good friend.
Gary, it was so much fun watching you go through this song. The farther into the song you got, the more enthusiasm you seemed to gain. I thought you were going to pop right off your throne towards the end, and that was fun to watch and listen to. There aren’t very many songs that use toms in place of cymbals, but I think the sound is great. Nice job on your instrumentation, my friend.❤️👏❤️🙏👏❤️
@@gregwonhoff7161 thanks for the comment Greg, yeah a real foot tapper I nearly shouted out , "don't stop me now" 😁 I keep trying I did that one in one take, I was happy with it so I thought I do another song. Enjoy your weekend and keep smiling 😁🙏👍🥁
@ As I suspected. You were really in to this one.🤪🤗😜😆🥳🤩
Gary, it’s 8:55 a.m. here in South Bend, Washington, and the sun is shining, so good morning to you. I am familiar with Ms. Springfield but not familiar with this song. It’s so much fun getting up each morning and checking to see what my 4 regular drumming friends have posted for the new day. Thank you so much for being a part of my good morning ritual. I thoroughly enjoy watching/listening to whatever you have in store. If you send me a text number or email, I have a few songs I have done and I will try to ship them overseas to you.❤️🙏❤️❤️🙏❤️
Many thanks for the comment Greg, and continuing support. Yes I normally put them from Thursday to Sunday may miss on day, Monday to Wednesday is when I do the recordings so unlikely no videos then. Yes send some over.My email is garystevens2317@gmail.com my mobile is years old and I am lucky to get a text🤣. In fact I hate mobiles, it's destroying people's personality my girlfriend is always on hers 😡 and people walk with them in their hands and not looking where they are going and they even on them at the Supermarket check out 😡😡. Watch people in pubs no one is talking all on their mobiles 😡 rant over 😂😂🤣 keep smiling 😁👍🙏🥁
Good morning to you, Gary. I feel very thankful today, as we here in Washington state have undergone a few days of horrible weather. We just got hit by something called a cyclone bomb, which has left thousands without power. Yesterday we got a tornado warning for our area but nothing happened. Billy Idol, I haven’t heard any of his stuff in quite a bit. I always thought he looked so cool with his spiked up bleach blond hair and biker clothes. I have played to White Wedding and Rebel Yell but never this one. I started listening with EarPods, and the sound is so much better. I just don’t like using them, because my wife will say something, and I can’t hear her. Nice job on your set, which by the way , I just love. What brand cymbals are you using? They really sound good. Hey, this is probably a silly question, but do you guys in England celebrate Thanksgiving? Either way, happy holiday season to you and your loved ones. I think I already wished that, but it doesn’t hurt to be sure.❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️
Many thanks for your comment Greg, wow that sounds bad , I was in the middle of a hurricane years ago in democratic republic in the Caribbean, and that was bad. At the moment where I live it's been snowing and it's very cold for me anyway, -4 c My cymbals are my weak part of my kit Sabina pro which aren't the best and paiste pst7 . My hi hats are Sabina aax which the tired drummer uses I think. I keep looking to get a better ride but not paying stupid money. Thanks giving don't want to come across as ignorant but I have no idea what it is. We celebrate only Xmas and new year in the UK and Easter but not many people bother with that now. Keep smiling 😁 🙏👍🥁
@ Thanksgiving is when you guys didn’t want to be stuck going to the kings church. A bunch of English men, women, and children left England in a ship named Mayflower. They made it to North America, but it was in the fall and too late to grow crops. They barely had time to build shelter before the real bad weather hit. They were helped out by some Native Americans of the area. That following spring, with the help of those same locals, they were able to plant and grow crops , which would insure their survival. As a way of showing thanks, the English, called Pilgrims, threw a big party which lasted for 3 days and invited their native friends to join them, and that became known as the first Thanksgiving. Here in the US, it is celebrated every year on the last Thursday in November. There, that’s pretty much it in a nutshell. My main cymbals are like yours, low level Sabian. They came with my used set and are B8s. I also have a 24” Zildgen ride along with a clap stack made with a 1965 Ludwig cymbal made by Paise sitting on top is an old Tama hi-hat cymbal. Also, I made a China-like sounding cymbal made by the same Ludwig/Paiste guys. Yes, I would love a new set of cymbals, but just like you, I refuse to shell out so much money. I just entered a contest set up by Drumeo in hopes of winning a $3000.00 set of new cymbals. I think they are Meinals. Anyway, you take care, my friend. I will be seeing you tomorrow maybe, if you are here.🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
Wow what a story, I always found it fascinating that this little country of mine can be so many places in the world. I hope you win I also watch drummeo but I don't take part in any competitions as I don't they ever pick anyone for Europe because of the transport costs. Yes I will put one on Saturday and Sunday I think but not sure which ones to pick I have around 10 to choose from . keep smiling 😁@@gregwonhoff7161
Gary, my drumming dude buddy, your orchestration on this giant blast from the past is as cool as the other side of the pillow. That fill across the top is over the top. I was 12 years old when this one came out and we all thought it was so cool, but you are a half month late🤭. What’s next Purple People Eater or Witch Doctor?😋❤️🙏👏❤️🙏👏❤️
Thanks for the comment Greg, lol I know those songs but haven't done them yet I don't even think I have them. I do have a comedy one is it George Jones from 1954 but haven't done it yet , don't think there's much drumming in it. Do you know much about foot pedals just think I need to give it a once over seems a bit springy might ask earl for his thoughts. New Beatles documentary coming out on Disney end of the month, tour of the USA 1964, if you not heard. keep smiling 😁👍🥁🙏
@ Didn’t know about the Beatles on Disney. Thanks for the heads up. I don’t know much about foot pedals. I have a double bass pedal and have it cranked up as tight as I can get it. I also have my pedal shafts quite long. I have a cheap PDP pedal, so I’m not sure how good it even is compared to others. Sorry.
@@gregwonhoff7161 No Worries I think foot pedals are the least discussed when talking about drums. I also have a lower end pedal Tama one, i never pay £600 for a DW pedal thats for sure 👍
@ I think I paid $116.00 for my double pedal. That’s pretty cheap for a double pedal I think. I agree with you. Some of those pedals cost more than my whole drum set cost me.
@@gregwonhoff7161yes I paid about that in ££ for the single pedal tama everything in the UK is expensive, only thing that's not expensive is flying to the EU. Have a good week 👍
Not heard this for years and years, if i had to put money on a drummer doing this on here , it would be you, well played 👍
Thanks for the comment Hilts , yes i wasnt sure to do this as the sound of the original recording wasnt great. Most of my songs are mp3 so it is what it is, have agood weekend keep smiling 😁😁 Ps sorry for the quailty of the video it was a very dark day
@@Kingy23drums No worries Kingy
Now you've mastered that, it's time to do Peggy Sue next!
@@johnwallis7744 I only wish I could John I try every now and again but I just can't get it right 👍
Gary, as with all my other friends on TH-cam today, this song is a new one for me. I am a true fan of toms and your use of 3 of the 4 you have on your set is an early morning treat for me. Thank you for sharing this one with us.❤️🙏👏❤️🙏👏❤️
@@gregwonhoff7161 Many thanks for the comment Greg, and continuing support. Yes not many will know this song unless you are a northern soul fan. Someone asked me why do I do these obscure songs as I won't get many views , I replied I am not bothered about views , I do it because I enjoy the song and brings back memories for me. Still looking to do a Xmas one 🤣 might be fairytale of new York by the pogues but not definitely yet. You and your family have a good weekend keep smiling 😁🙏🥁👍
@ Gary, I love your attitude about who you play for and why. When I-go downstairs to play, I play the songs I like. Otherwise it wouldn’t be any fun. Happy holiday season to you and your loved ones, my buddy from Britain.❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️
@@gregwonhoff7161 Many Thanks for the comment Greg. Spot on, i play songs i like or bring back a few memories from yesterday year and to keep my brain twirling 😁 Keep smiling👍🙏 🥁
Thanks for the comment Greg, I used to use a phone when I first started but it wasn't very good. After doing some research I found this which as camera and sound recorder all built in with many settings and it's been good , not brilliant but good enough for me. My audio is just from a standard cheap hi fi but some of the songs I have are MP3 and sometimes they can sound pretty 💩 to be honest. Keep smiling 😁 👍👍🥁🙏www.amazon.co.uk/Zoom-Q2n-4K-Digital-Audio-Recorder/dp/B07N1R9MFM?source=ps-sl-shoppingads-lpcontext&ref_=fplfs&psc=1&smid=A30DC7701CXIBH
Gary, boy this one is a blast from the past. I was still in high school, I think. I can’t remember for sure when it came out. Anyway, it’s so good to see you this morning and I’m so happy that you are sharing your drumming with us. When you put out a cover, how do you do it? I have recorded a few drumming videos, but the audio quality just isn’t very good. I have my IPad plugged into a guitar amp. Then, I put a microphone in front of that amp with the microphone going through a second amp. The problem starts because I have to turn the amps up loud enough to be heard over my drumming and the sound quality goes south as I turn up the volume loud enough to hear the music through my ear protection. I then only have my iPhone to record with. I’m guessing you are doing something a bit similar. There are some days I have a hard time hearing your music. Too bad we don’t have the equipment Earl and The Tired Drummer have.😢
Gary, I think the tea towel on your snare makes for a great punchy sound. Is it covering the entire head or only half? The floor tom/snare singles are a nice touch. Well done, my friend.❤️🙏👏❤️🙏👏❤️
Many thanks for the comment Greg, I put the towel all over it, I need to retune the snare bottom as I am getting a lot of snare buzz at the moment. Some songs I have on the hifi are making it buzz a lot, so need to take the reso head up more to around 88-90 with drum dial at the moment it's around 85 keep smiling 🙏😁👍🥁
@ I’m playing a Mapex 14x8 inch snare, and I just can’t seem to get a good sound unless I cover it with a tea towel.
@@gregwonhoff7161 Yes i ahve been there as well. There are a few videos on here on how to make your snare sound better but i bet you know all the tricks. All i can say crank reso high and get an Evans dry snare head. The last thing treat yourself to a new snare, i only got one thinking of getting another keep smiling 👍
@@Kingy23drums This is a new snare with Pure Sound snare wires. I am pretty sure that it is just me being a crummy snare tuner.🤪😜
@@gregwonhoff7161 Get your yourself a drum dial of ebay 2nd hand one, not sure how much they are in the USA in the UK they are around £70 new and £40 2nd hand i think they are worth it 👍
Nice work Love this song
Thanks for the comment Hilts
One of the best Bond themes
@@rarerecordcollector9459 Many thanks for the comment, I never knew that honestly, cheers
Gary, your cross-sticking sounds great. No matter how much I try, I just can’t seem to get a good sound when I try it, so I always resort to my plastic “wood” block. Playing Louis Armstrong just proves that your certainly aren’t a one trick pony show. Nice job.❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️
Many thanks for the comment Greg, I think cross sticking is my weak point I tried a few songs mainly reggae but just haven't got it right. Yes I try not to be a one trick pony always thinking out of the box. Keep smiling 😁👍🥁🙏🙏
Nice drumming my friend! 🤘🏻👍🏻
Many thanks for the comment Earl, i keep trying, have a good weekend 🙏🙏
Yes, yes, yes, you gave that tea towel covered tom a chance to shine on this one. Nice job breaking out of the mold and showing so much more of your drumming creativity, your royal highness. Nice job, Gary. You, my friend, have a wonderful weekend.❤️🙏👏❤️🙏👏❤️
Many thanks for the comment Greg, I think my toms and snare need of a bit of tuning, and I could not be bothered to do it yet😊 so I brought out the towel to muffle it a bit , have a good weekend keep smiling 😁 🙏🥁👍@@gregwonhoff7161
Gary, have heard this one before but not by The Clovers. I want to say it was The Seekers, but I could easily be mistaken on that one. I do know that I played my drums to it in the mid-60s but it was a different band. Nice job, my British beat master. Thank you for sharing.🙏👏🙏👏🙏
@@gregwonhoff7161 Many thanks for the comment Greg, yes there as been a few versions of this song but a little new hobby of mine is to find the original song. I got a few lined up to do, people may not know them though so I won't expect many views but not to worry. Keep smiling 😁👍🥁🙏
@ 🤪
Your drum channel is impressive and motivated me. I am also a hobby drummer who started playing drum when I was around 50. I practice with electronic drums at home, but I want to switch to acoustic drums. The problem is noise. Did you install a soundproof panel so that your neighbors and family do not get disturbed? I see you installed it behind your drum set. Does this help reduce noise a lot?
@@50drum many thanks for your comment 50 drum. To be honest not a lot of different my last 2 homes have been new builds with stud walls , and there is not a lot of difference. I got these panels cheap £50 each so I took the gamble. Do not waste your money on those sponges. My friend had them made no difference. I was reported to the council as I had a twat of a neighbour, so I moved. Hope you get a good kit and then see what happens. If you want to do it properly it would cost 5k ISH they build your walls out put sound proof installation in it then put new plaster board and plaster. I just didn't think it was worth it, I only play to keep my mind attractive. Have you got a you tube channel I have a look and I give you a follow and follow me if you haven't already. I only wished I was younger when I started I was 56. Keep drumming 🙏🥁🥁
Gary, I have been following you for quite a bit now, and I am going to go out on a limb here and say that the fills you incorporated in this song might be the best I have ever heard you do. I told you a while back that I thought you were really making strides of improvement in your drumming, and this video is proof of that. I am at a point of frustration in my drumming. I am self taught and as a result I have so many holes in my drumming ability. I have even thought about giving up on playing to music and start from scratch and just practicing technique such as the 40 or so rudiments and following along with some double bass drummer to learn that better. Anyway, I am so happy for you because I see great strides forward in your drumming.❤️🙏👏❤️🙏👏❤️
@@gregwonhoff7161 Many thanks for the comment Greg, don't give up, some days I feel like that but I carry on. There is a book called stick control by George Lawrence stone they all say is the best to get your sticks working. Have you tried following Stanton Moore a guy from new Orleans he does loads of rudiments to help you. Also a German guy called daily drum lessons, the thing is it's not everyday but he's very good. Also rick beato he's more guitar but does have a lot of interviews with drummers and they explain how to play certain songs. I got mad this week I normally do 3 songs a week but just realised that this one is my fourth. Keep smiling 😁👍🥁🙏😁
@@gregwonhoff7161 here you go you haven't even got to buy the book. th-cam.com/play/PLQTLSQUfQTzFjSV0G8qsB7SF_ysA1AK8f.html&si=Md8nqDp2pUaVrvi3
@ You, my good friend are so right. I would never quit, but I just get so frustrated when I watch some of these great drummers play all these cool fills, but my hands and feet just don’t do it, and why should they? Have I taken the time to learn how to do them? That answer is a big fat NO.🤔😜🤪
@gregwonhoff7161 never get flustered with other drummers theres loads better than you and me, and there is loads worse as well. To be still playing at 74 I think you said is fantastic achievement, just pray for good health and you be still playing at 84. Have you a drum pad or just tap rudiments on your legs whilst watching TV, that's what I do, of course when the girlfriend is not there as she hates it 😁Keep smiling 😁👍
@ Yeah, tapping on anything when the wife is near is the biggest no no ever. I am always tapping on my coffee cup and you can be sure she lets me have it.😅😂🤪😜🤣
You should change your name to the obscure record drummer 😁
Many thanks for the comment Hilts - will give it a thought if i ever change it, but no plans at the moment.😉😁
Gary, there are 5 drummers here on TH-cam that I faithfully follow and will always listen to their complete video whether I like the song or not. I have mentioned before that that is what friend so for each other. This is not in any means or form a criticism but rather an observation. 3 of the drummers I follow, Earl Bennett, The Tired Drummer, and Jimflys2, all have such good equipment and their videos have wonderful sound. These 3 are in the top tier as far as sound quality goes. The next level of sound quality is Bryan Drums. He has pretty good sound quality but not quite as good as the first 3. Now it’s your turn. Both you and I are in the same boat, I think. I play my music through a cd player that is hooked up to an amp. My recording is my IPhone. I am thinking that your setup is similar. Yes, I wish I had the sound quality of those first 4 guys, but I just play the cards I’m dealt. At 74, I’m not going to go and spend the amount of money it would take to get that real good sound, especially since I don’t even have a TH-cam channel. I have mad a few recordings and sent them off to Earl, The Tired Drummer, and Bryan, but the good sound just isn’t there. Like I said at the beginning, this is just an observation after watching/listening to my 5 good friend here on TH-cam. Remember This has nothing to do with drumming ability. This is all about the quality of sound.
@@gregwonhoff7161 many thanks for the comment Greg, Nottingham forest won ,🍾🍾 up to 3rd now. 2nd I looked at the views and likes about 2-3 hours ago, I had 10 views 4 likes now for some reason I have 9 views and 1 like. I am not that bothered about who likes it and views, but for some reason you tube are messing about with it, just don't get it. From now on I be turning likes dislikes off, they won't even answer my query. Anyway yep the sound I agree I am always trying to get in right by moving speakers etc, camera angles, it does seem the sound is worse in this house than my last even though I have acoustic panels. So my only options are to mike the drums up like they do, but I wont be doing that. Those drummers have been playing for years, and they are experienced. So they only have to learn the sound system to record. Me I am still learning the drums 4 years I have been playing, and I just cannot be bothered to learn the recording side of it. It's like when I first got an hifi unit with graphic equaliser on it, you for ever Messing with it for hours to get the right sound, so I binned it and when back to normal hifi with bass and treble. So I just can't be bothered to mess about with it. Also I play back my videos through a TV, phone, and a pc , and tablet and it all sounds different on everyone, its down to the quality of the speakers I suppose, what you hear. Keep smiling 🙏🥁🥳👍
@ Yeah, there comes a time when, for lack of a better phrase, it is what it is. Just keep sending your videos this way my friend and take care.🙏🙏🤪🙏🙏
@gregwonhoff7161 I think that is a great saying, it is what it is. Of those drummers you mentioned I only know earl, and the tired drummer, but I will definitely have a look at the others. Keep smiling 😁👍🥁🙏
@ Thanks for being here, my British buddy.🙏🏻
@gregwonhoff7161 we keep going that's all that matters 🥁🙏

@ Is Nottingham Forest in the highest soccer league?
Yes Greg, the English premier league is the best in the world for football, we 7th not far behind Manchester city and Liverpool
@ I don’t know anything about soccer, but you can be sure my 7 year old grandson is always telling me about players like Christiano Reynaldo and Linal Messi. Nay mar Junior and Killian Mimbapa are 2 more. Sorry about the spellings of their names.
@gregwonhoff7161 ya grandson knows all the best players that's for sure, some have played in the premier league over the years. Have a good weekend 🥁🙏
Gary, I saw there might be a bit of tomfoolery going on with the Like tallying. Every time I hit Like it shows up. This song had parts in it that reminded me of The B52s Love Shack. I really liked your orchestration using your ride, hats, and that thingy on top of your hats. You are definitely expanding your drumming and trying new things. That is what makes your stuff fun. Thanks for sharing this with us. ❤️🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻❤️
Many thanks for your comment Greg, I think earl has mentioned it as well but I cannot see why they are taking likes off me, but pathetic by you tube to be honest. The song was one of the first I did when I moved but wasn't sure about it. Keep smiling 🙏👍🥁🥁

Hey Kingy23 every time you do a video i always put a like and it never shows up - i think You Tube are playing games again
Thanks for the comment Hilts, yes you are not the first to say this, to be honest, there is nothing i can do, but to turn off the likes and dislike button.

this is a very special song for me as it was played at my best two friends dads funeral who are the kindest brothers the earth could ever wish for, you hit it out of the ball park , absolutely awesome , thank you and big love to all of you here , regards,
Many thanks for your kind words, and I am sorry for your loss. I have lost people close to me and it's hard, but try and stay positive and remember them with a smile. Best wishes to you 🙏🙏
Gary, another new one for me, and it was fun. Question, why don’t you use your right and left high toms more and your floor tom. I love toms and tom fills, so I would really like to hear moor variety in your covers. Please don’t mistake this as a criticism. I just think your drum set is so cool and would like to hear more of it.❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️
Thanks for your comment Greg, I do use them when needed, and it's just I am not a big fan of the heads, when I change to 2ply coated ones I will use them more. Also I am struggling a little finding songs now, as it stands I have done 270 + and don't want to resort to banging out endless songs with the same rhythm, like some drummers do on here. No criticism of them at all, but I need to get better not stale. Keep smiling 🥁👍🙏👍🥁
@@Kingy23drums I kind of thought that you were playing single ply heads. You put double ply heads on and you will double your playing pleasure. As far as new stuff goes, have you listened to any Journey, Styx, REO SPEEDWAGON, Fleetwood Mac? Yeah, I know it’s so hard to try playing along with Todd Sucherman of Styx, Deen Castronovo of Journey, Mick Fleetwood of Fleetwood Mac, or Brian Hitt of REO, but we don’t have to play every song note for note. The key is to find music that moves you and gets your toes a tappin’.❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️
@@gregwonhoff7161 I like some Fleetwood Mac but only when Peter green was in the band, the others I am not sure about. We get a lot of reggae around where we live but it's just a bit boring to play. I just have to keep researching I have 5 in the bag and another few lined up. What don't help is that some songs I try and put on get blocked from the UK, especially the Beatles I have got 30 of them and can't put them on, only if you cannot hear the original. Then you see the same song coming from other areas of the world and it's fine. I also look for songs no more than 3.30-4 mins as earl Bennett says the average watch time is around 60-70 secs. Some of my songs are let on but partially blocked thats why some of the songs don't get many views. Onwards and upwards keep smiling 😁🥁👍🙏

The one takes me way back. I think I was in high school when this was released. Oh, I just heard that floor tom with the tea towel without the snare accompaniment. I like that muffled sound. I have my drums tuned down as low as I can get them and still get a decent sound. Plus, I have those Evans Hydraulic heads on them. I have thought about changing them out and putting some regular 2 ply heads on them, but I don’t want to spend a bunch of money on new heads and not like the sound. Bummer.🤪😜 Anyway, Kingy, nice job on this oldie, moldy, musty, dusty blast from the past. You take care and have a wonderful weekend, my pal from across the pond.❤️🙏👏❤️🙏👏❤️

When I saw the name Badfinger I was surprised to hear such a slow and mellow song. These slow ones are buggers for me to play to. I am always speeding up especially when I add in a fill. I have mentioned that Earl told me slow songs are a great way to practice because they require so much discipline. I was hoping you would hit that tea towel covered floor tom. I wanted to hear what it sounded like. I play with a tea towel on my snare almost all the time so I can get that punchy sound. Thanks for sharing this one, Gary, and you take care.❤️🙏👏❤️🙏👏❤️

Gary, I have played to this one a few times, and that is what makes all this fun. We all have a different take on how we want to play a song. It is just so much fun seeing and hearing friends play the drums their way.❤️🙏👏❤️🙏👏

@@gregwonhoff7161 Yes i know them i was going to get the red ones for my Tama. On this kit i have Evans EC2 but they are clear, and i prefer Coated and the resonant heads are stock ones so i be looking to change them as well. Keep smiling 😁👍
@@Kingy23drums My set is an early 90s Mapex Bop set. It came with a 10” high tom, 12” floor tom, 12” snare, and an 18” bass. I added a 12” high tom to go with the 10” one . Both are mounted on the bass drum. I didn’t know anything about Hydraulics, but at the time , the price was great. The set still has the original Mapex reso heads on it too. Thanks for the comment Greg, I think it was 1957 and been done by a few artists. Earl has been playing a long time I believe and always watch him but I honestly don't know a lot of his songs. I did however look at my stats after earl talked about it last week. Gary, once again you have come up an unheard before song to me, which of course doesn’t matter one bit, as I will watch anything you do from start to finish. Many thanks for the comment Greg, it was a big hit in Europe in 1987. I think you will know the next one. Great question about the toms. On stands they do wobble a bit and trying to get them balanced can be awkward The plus side of stand mounted is I can get the toms closer to me. @@Kingy23drums I asked The Tired Drummer the same question, as he has his toms mounted on stands rather than onto a mount directly connected to the bass drum.
