Very happy with my purchase!Have used it about a dozen times now. Plenty of power, cranks up on 1-2 pulls every time. My only complaint would be I wish it was a little taller to make it easier to walk with it (hits my ankles a lot) and that the two hose connections were a little further apart but it hasn’t caused me any issues. I went all in with the entire line of products that you recommend. Early Christmas for me, your recommendations paid off, I bought the craftsman 2100 psi pressure washer, Uber flex hose, quick connect kit, mjjc foam cannon and the purple stubby gun that you have but in black, perfect for me around the house and for my cars, much appreciated Josh, thank you 👍😁
Thank you so much for a fantastic video, because of you I bought all those accessories for my brand sparkling new green work pressure washer. Keep up the good work thanks again man.
I use their foam cannon, and it works really well. It's a bit top-heavy since it doesn't have the wide base. I'll for sure be buying their stubby pressure washer.
Hi Josh, thanks for this video. I purchased the gun without the swivel, is there a way to purchase the swivel separately together with the quick connect or the only way is to order the new one with the swivel? Thanks 🙏
I got that foam cannon but I’m not getting the fan spray it coming out in a direct stream. Is it because I’m using car wash with wax? I have a greenworks 2000 psi electric pressure washer
What connector do I need to connect the hose to this wand/gun. I bought a female to 3/8 connector, but I’m assuming I need a male m22 to 3/8 connector?
As a senior, I appreciate your well detailed videos. Using your suggestions, I purchased the UbberFlex hose and the McKillian stubby gun with swivel. Please guide me on how to connect these two components.
Hi Thomas, You just need a quick connect for the hose side to attach to the swivel quick connect that comes with that wand. Heres a whole kit amzn.to/3CP6vxk or you can just get this as this attachment is really the only one you need. amzn.to/37LYsmw The kit is nice though cause then you can add it to both sides of the hose! Check out this video i did on the quick connects th-cam.com/video/dIUsVWTjTdc/w-d-xo.html
@@imjoshv Thanks for this information, but I have the swivel already on my gun and the quick connect M22 15mm. What I want is to add a cutoff at the hose/gun connection. Can you help me with this?
Please help: I have the chemical guys stubby gun and uberflex hose, can someone link me a swivel quick connect attachment that would work with my setup?
I bought the Mkellans pressure gun and the Griots brilliant Shine Foam cannon. The quick connect that comes with the Mkellans gun is to big to connect properly to the foam cannon. I have a Suzuki 3100 PSI pressure washer and am concerned that when I put a smaller quick connect on the gun, it will have too much pressure to function properly. Any recommendations, The old gun with the smaller quick connect that came with the pressure washer works fine with the Foam Cannon.
I purchased this wand from the Amazon link and I also us a Ryobi 1500 psi pressure washer. Don't know why but it leaks out the nozzle. I have contacted Mckillans and they have not responded. Anybody have any suggestions?
Hi I just bought a gun on your recommendation but my machine is a 3,600 and 5 GPM. Will the gun withstand this? Also will the same apply to the foam container?
I just want an answer I have a sun joe SPX2598 pressure washer and a cheap foam cannon from Amazon but upgraded to the 1.1 mm orfice however I still don’t get thick shaving cream foam if I add too much soap the foam comes out like bubbles Im confused to whether it’s the foam cannon or the pressure washer, if you can answer it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
How smooth is the swivel? I just bought one and it's only smooth for about 180 degree range of rotation without even being hooked up. The rest is fairly stiff and needs to be rotated by hand. Just curious how yours is. Thanks
In addition to the McKillans Straight Pressure Washer Extension Wand, they also offer one that is angled. Which extension do you prefer, straight or angled version? Does it really matter for car detailing?
I have the bent McKillans wand and love it. Works great for the car, but I’ve also used it to clean my house AC unit where space was limited on some sides. Also works great to clean inside wheel wells, where salt likes to sit and start to rust.
Is the McKillans Pressure Washer Gun Replacement M22 Inlet with Extension with 1/4” Quick Connector Coupler on Amazon legit?? Since the pressure washer gun on its own is more expensive then with the extension included.
Mosmatic swivels are super nice, smooth, and swivel under pressure (which the cheap Amazon / eBay swivels do not do) but cost more than a new McKillan's gun with swivel but you can adapt one to any fixed input gun, it just adds length.
@@Ryan_H22 okay, think that may be a little steep for me for now,I am waiting for gun to arrive, didn't know if could just replace the m22 fitting for a swivel fitting. All the different size and kinds of fittings mess with my head..lol
@@myfordtruck2023 Without tearing the gun down I can't say for sure if you can or can't just remove the m22 from the gun and add a swivel to the factory pipe, but my guess is... not directly. I tore my cheap gun down and sunk my mosmatic swivel into the handle as a little side project. I have a decent amount of tools but still had to pick up a 1/8" NPT die to thread the pipe and a 3/8 NPT to 1/8 NPT adapter to join the swivel to the pipe, then cut the snot out of the inside of the plastic case to kinda sorta fit the case around the swivel. It's not terrible and was kind of a fun project as I enjoy that kind of thing and already had the Mosmatic swivel but honestly, the McKillans with swivel for less than 40 bucks direct is the much easier solution and it's less for the gun ready to go than what you'd have in getting a swivel and the necessary hardware to attach it. Even if the McMKillans swivel isn't up to Mosmatic quality I'd think you'd be happier just buying a ready to go gun.
@@Ryan_H22 big job to change out. I will probably just live with it this way for now.Note to self( read the description CAREFULLY before you press send)
@@myfordtruck2023 The way I did it was definitely the hard way, LOL! Adding a swivel onto the M22 input is way easier. You need the swivel, an adapter to connect the swivel to the M22 and one on the other end for the M22 to go to the swivel. You can get everything on Amazon. You'll end up with about 5" of "stuff" hanging off the gun but it works great. I have two new guns with built in swivels on order ( not McKillans) I like the swivel feature so much. My honest opinion though is save what you'd spend on adding a swivel and fittings and buy a new gun down the line with a swivel built in. The AR MV925 can be found for right around $42.00 with swivel and connections all ready installed as another option. I've read some good things about it but have no personal experience.
I’m new to ceramic coated cars and washing. Love your videos. @imjoshv can you post what attachment/ nozzle you use for rinsing? I’m using ryobi electric pressure washer.
Hi Josh, ordered the swivel gun, hose and quick connects via the links you provided. Thanks for the video reviews. What can you recommend for cleaning inside of car windows?
Hi, thanks for sharing. I watched quite a few of your videos just curious how come you never done a video on best microfiber towels or car drying towels in general.
Man I get so much from watching your videos. The set up I use is exactly the same as what you use all the way down to the same electric leaf blower to dry off the vehicles. I do have a question how and what do you use to wash the many microfiber towels you use per car?
I ran into that availability snafu using the affiliate link… was able to use different link(s) to get what I wanted. Thanks for the info. Does the wand come with a 20 degree bend?
I have watched most of your videos and a ton of others. I'm still not sure which one to get. I think I want one around 2000 psi and 2 gpm? I want one that will last so I think one with a triplex pump would be better. I don't want a junk one that won't last but also don't want to spend an arm and leg either. What would you recommend? Thank you
Triplex would be perfect but expensive. What your really want is for cars is ~900 to ~1,100 PSI and as close to 2 GPM as possible. About the only really affordable option for those numbers is the Active VE 52 is you're looking to stay in the "budget" area at about 220.00 or so. If you've got the cash AR Blue Clean AR630TSS (under 700.00) and Kranzle K1322TS is just north of a grand but probably the best car detailing PW you can buy. I couldn't afford the AR or Kranzle as a weekend warrior type so I bought the Active and so far I'm loving it.
Okay, I'm confused! Under your "Pressure Washer Set Up" and "My Pressure Washer Gun of Choice" you have a link to a Sooprince gun and not the McKillans? Is this your new preferred gun?!?!?! 🤔
There is a significant safety issue with short wands. I was washing window screens and holding the screen with my left hand and using the wand in my right. I happened to spray across the back of my hand (in a fraction of a second) and it almost severed the many blood veins in my hand. So always wear gloves to protect your hands. Or better yet use a long enough extension so it is impossible to spray your hand, arm, leg, face, etc. Never use a short wand with one hand and use the other hand to hold or scrub/wipe whatever you are spraying. Tie your other hand behind your back or put it in your pocket ... or best to use an extension. High pressure water jets are dangerous.
McKillans Short Pressure Washer Gun with Swivel. If a washer gun has a quick connect....then it already has a swivel....same as air compressor fittings. Sales gimmick 🤑
The swivels are designed to still spin under high PSI ie. Anywhere up to and over 2-3,000PSI, quick connects including air fittings such as Nitto, Ryco etc won't spin on their own under pressure, air fittings will turn by hand easier as mostly only under 80-100PSI compared to pressure washers.
