I just subscribed to your channel because first of all, lived in Oregin all my life and looking for a safer place to live when I retire. 2nd...you mentioned you lived in Portland. And, good fir you for getting out. I like that I can watch a video from someone who has lived where I live to be able to give honest comparisons to Oregon and Idaho and it helps you are a realtor!! Won't be looking to relocate for awhile but I'm happy to know that I think I just found the realtor I'll be going to when that time comes. I would like to know the crime rate. I'm nervous about moving to somewhere then finding out it isn't a safe place to live.
The Redmond Airport isnt that bad. I looked at the destinations and its not to bad. Where i live the airport only flies to 5 destinations compared to 12 in bend
@livinginidaho I'm moving from Fayetteville,NC. I've also lived in Baltimore and Blacksburg, VA. I was just in Boise this past weekend, and the lack of humidity is refreshing, lol.
I think you could do a deeper dive into arts and culture. You show video clips of the Amphitheater in Bend but don’t talk about it. Sting will be here in May. Tears for fears, Ringo Star, Chris Stapleton, Bonnie Rait, Nine inch Nails, B52s, Heart, Daryl Hall, pretty much any act that stops in Red Rocks stops in Bend. How about Boise?
I lived and owned a house in NW Bend till last year. I liked it there. West side is best. Don’t bother living in east Bend. It’s basically a different world. Think suburbia US driving culture. Bend is awesome but the forest fire issue was rediculous. The forest service is destroying all of Phils. Eventually the whole place will basically be in smoke all summer. We might move to Boise now for the similar lifestyle but with lower cost etc. Redmond has less snow but it’s honestly pretty trashy and boring there.
Awesome content! Very informative. Currently residing in Bend for the last two years but have always been interested in checking out Boise

wow boise its great i like every thing you said about that city its just what me and family want. nice job
Oregon is Oregon. Enough said.
I live in Boise and my friend, who lives near Portland, came to visit and he was blown away by how little homelessness he saw.
it's shocking when you come from Portland.
THANKS CRAIG ❤
You're welcome
I'd love to retire in Idaho, but don't know if I could do the winters.
Great job!!
I lived in Bend in 1981-83. Loved it then. But the population was only 17,000. I would hate it now.
Boy-C. You finally got it! somtimes. 🤣
If bend wasn't in Oregon I would move there in a heartbeat.
How would you say Boise compares to Reno nv?
Boise is great but you are wrong about the airport. The Redmond airport is the easiest airport ever to get around.

Thank you for this! I have family in Boise, Idaho, who have convinced me to relocate.
it's a great city to live in. Where are you moving from?

@@samanthamcfayden3662 no humidity is nice :)

Boise isn’t marketed as a tourist destination. Boise is the biggest metro area between Utah and Portland OR.
Do a video on sports in idaho!!!!!!!!!
What kind of sports are you thinking of?

Politics is number one. Oregon is way too liberal
100% unfortunately everything after that is pretty much meaningless.
Which mean's it is not really liberal in terms of what us older folk knew liberal as.
@@bluerfoot I’m an older folk and it’s too liberal for us
@@p.sherman3158 Idaho is crazy conservative.
Dude turn your brain on Jesus Christ lmao
Just move to Boise the locals in central Oregon hate newcomers.
Boise is exactly Southern California, Bend not so much.
Oregon is a liberal hell hole. Eastern Oregon might be a little more conservative than Portland, Oregon.
Go to bend all of Idaho sucks
IDUHo get real geez
Thanks for the thoughtful comment
