I like to eat a couple of dates with a sprinkle of chopped pecans on them or a dab of peanut butter in the middle and topped with cinnamon. It goes well with a cup of tea. It’s approximately 150 calories.
I’ve just found this channel and I love it. I love the fact it’s easy. I love the fact that it is consistent and I feel it’s doable. You are so right what you’re saying in this video about saving all the recipes and making life complicated and you have absolutely hit the nail on the head. I want it to be quick easy not too tempting, that means I’m not going overindulge and it fits in an incredibly busy day absolutely spot on with what I need to achieve my goals!❤
@@CarolKassel most often I do chamomile or similar -- a very big cup, then add it to a blender with 1/4-1/2 scoop Truvani protein powder (love their pumpkin spice right now), 1-2 tsp stevia, 1/2 tsp vanilla extract, 1 tsp of cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice or cardamom, dash of salt
@@smilesrawesome2240my favorite is Truvani -- I have found getting the right ratio of liquid:protein powder is KEY for finding what you like. I probably do double/triple the water per scoop than what is recommended
I was just thinking about this the other day. I've put on weight that I lost, again, and I was trying to picture what the biggest differences were between then and now, and how I was able to do so well. At that time I also had something most days that was a small treat, something I could look forward to, instead of thinking I need to be 100% on it, no treats, you have to be perfect, right! Well no, I gave myself something to look forward to, I forgot that. I'm working on figuring out how to lose weight, for good, I have heart failure and facing my second surgery so losing weight is a must, and not a lot of money, so I'm trying to figure it out, but just remembered that you can give yourself a little and be happy with that. P.S. Get the dark chocolate alpro desserts, they are much nicer, and always give them a good whip up with your spoon before you eat them, xxx
Vegan chocolate protein powder with plain vegan yogurt, served with a handful of frozen raspberries. I use Riviera brand plain yogurt (oat-based) and half a serving of Sprout Living Epic Protein Chocolate-Maca powder. 16g of protein-not bad.
Thank you for keeping it real! As I listened I thought about all those ‘healthy dessert’ recipes I have saved on Pinterest but literally never have time to make lol. I’m off to the supermarket to get some custard balls and Alpro desserts 😅 How have I never heard of these before? Thank you for sharing! 🙏
I noticed on Broccoli Mum she mentioned she had been to your LA retreat and had an awesome time so well done Chels! So cool!! As a fellow Kiwi you are choice!!!
Haha I love the smack in the face honesty 😂🙌🏻 but it’s so true. If I batch prep my oats as muffins I tend to eat them all … and overeat in the end. If I really need it I have one spoon of oats with soy milk and then two spoons of coco powder. That’s … enough chocolate but not nice enough to finish. I never realised that before though 🤔👍
You got be hooked years ago on frozen fruit, plant milk and optional PB powder made into a syrup and or a little granola. Sometimes I do the fruit, with stevia and plant milk for like an ice cream. With a frozen berries mix it’s pretty low calorie.
Love these - these are pretty much all on my go-to list!! So good. The Alpro custard is my fave of their range. And the Ninja has been a gamechanger. Great vid.
A pitted medjool date stuffed with vegan sugar-free chocolate chips....you don't have to plan making it ahead of time, and it's easy to feel like you are satisfied on dessert with just one (especially with tea).
My favourite desserts/puddings are crumbles especially apple and even though there's store bought versions homemade is better especially with apples now being fresh off trees in the UK at the moment. Another awesome 👍 video Chelsea and love 🥰 your videos and love 💕 Chelsea & family.
Vanilla greek yogurt is my go to healtheir option pretty high in protein and not too tasty. Have even started eating half the cup and finsihign it off later in the day since i usually dont need the whol thing
From the jacket I am guessing you are in the South Island? :D Hope you're not getting to wet, and thanks for another great video! Cadburys hot choc is my winter dessert, but this summer i will try the protein shake ice cream trick. Thanks for sharing :D
This isn't a dessert, but lately I have been drinking silver-tea. It's just hot water. On a cold day, when if feeling all mushy, cuddling up on the couch and just having that, read a book and just watch some tv, just hits all the spots for me. I think it's extra happy for me since it's something I used to have with friends when we where out hiking in the winter. Trudging through snow and then on a break we'd take out the trangia and make silver-tea.
Yeah I agree. For those of us with comfort eating habits that is true hey. I think for me, it's just trying to remember my love for myself and what I am really wanting to achieve. I'm in the very active wanting to lose 10 kilos phase, so I probably won't buy those till a special occasion arises.

My favorite dessert is baked green apples with cinnamon 😊
Yum I will make that tonight
That’s a great idea. How long throw them in the oven? Oh! I bet I could use the air fryer as well.
@@Pittie_Huff I usually do about 10-20 minutes. Just depends on how chunky I make them🤭😂

I like making a protein "tea latte" with herbal tea, vanillla protein powder, and then some spices and/or sweetener depending on the tea flavor
Would love to get your recipe!

I freeze Alpro desserts. Let them soften a bit and then theyre deliciously fudgy!
🤤🤤🤤
They are delicious !
The chocolate cocunut cream ones are also good, almost taste like silken tofu mousse but with cocunut milk, and they are not too sweet
Great to know. Thanks.
thank you so much for this tip!!

The hot chocolate and single serve puddings sure help me from over eating other sweet options. Great video!
