- Hey guys! So quite a few of you saw my last power box build. In that video, I bought and drilled my own ammo box, bought a battery, and found a complete components kit from a company called Ice Hole Power. That build was fun, but I ran into a few issues with drilling that nearly cost me the whole box. In that video I also forgot to run an inline fuse directly off the battery (If you saw that video and built your own box, add that!).
That mistake led to a some guidance from the owner of Ice Hole Power, and unexpectedly he sent us their new 30ah D.I.Y kit to build for you all!

This is what I have been looking for, I only have one 30ah battery that needs to be completed. I will though have to pause until I get my connections straight. I did purchase my box from ice hole but never received any feedback yet. Thanks for doing this single battery hookup video.

Thank you for going slowly on the banana clips, I was not sure the order of the washer and locking washers.
We get to see how is was built, how its works, the power 💪 storerage and the rest of it but you didn't mention how the battery 🔋 is recharged
Great video. So for charging do you hook up a trickle charger to one of the banana jacks or to the battery directly?
yep, I charge through the bananas.
Why is unboxing so popular? Is it a prerequisite in some type of TH-cam contract?
Is it possible to put a charger and or a solar jack in there to recharge the battery?
Can you tell me what gauge wire you used on pos/neg?
I am going to power my Garmin Livescope and Vexilar at the same time to this box. Can I install a SAE port? Do I install another switch and continue piggy backin the positive and negative? Great video. This box holds a tall 30 amp battery. Most of Ice Hole boxes are too short to accommodate this taller battery. What exactly should I order if I want this same set up? Thanks!
This one was a diy kit. Came all as one package. I have a new one that has an SAE port. It’s wired just as you said.

@@NPLife can I order the DIU kit and then buy another switch and sae port from ice hole? Is there room for it. I would mount it on the side.
@@richardmontgomery6173 from what I can see they have an option to add the SAE.
is it possible to run a fish finder on the banana connectors?
Yep. I run 2 helix 7's off the banana posts because my cranking battery kept turning them off when I turned the motor on. It works really well.
