    Some people may ask:
    What randomly kills Mario when the timer hits 0?
    Well, it is actually surprisingly simple!
    The timer is actually how many hours that has gone by since Mario has last eaten. When the timer hits 0, Mario starves to death. When Mario enters a castle at the end of the level, he finally gets a meal!

    The snake thing actually makes sense. The front block is a "creating" block that creates the path, and the back one is an "eater" block that eats that path.

    *3:40** It was supposed to happen:* also, in the original Super Mario World SNES, Mario is supposed to float by holding an item. Also, if you probabilly did not seen, Mario uses his hands when holds the items. That means his hands are blocked and he has to use his feets to swim. And he is floating upwards. That's not a nonsense!

      Actually, Mario DOES fall faster after he jumps. There are tight timed levels that incorporate this, as well as top speeds for ninji runs.

      Yeah, the P switch was too dense to float originally and so was Mario. Adding them together doesn't reduce the density because you're also adding mass. Density is mass divided by volume.

    the real problem with the vines isn't that they don't carry you when they are growing. It's that the animation shows them growing from the base. Actual plants grow from the end of the stalk, not the base. The fact that they don't carry you as they grow is the most accurate part of this.

    Snake Blocks not moving Mario make sense because the blocks are being drawn at the head and erasing in the tail. I also prefer that behaviour.
    I know them push objects as them draw so somehow the expected physics mismatch.

    cat climbing: your 'full solid' appears to be made of dirt that crumbles away around his claws, while your 'semi-solid' appears to be made of wood or concrete that doesn't crumble around his claws.

    Also don’t forget about how eating a mushroom and flower gives you powers, how turtles walk on 2 feet, infinite run, massive vertical jumps, dying from a timer going to 000, being able to walk on lava with a shell, a vine growing out of a block, coming back to life by getting 100 coins, buildings floating on nothing

    *You forgot one more thing that makes no sense:* Mario can spin-jump on Piranha Plants and spiked shellments, but can't spin-jump on spike blocks and Munchers! So much sense! 😂
    Also, Mario can go through bridges and clouds. And he can even stand on clouds. Try that in real life! 😏
    Also, if you look closely at the moving platforms, you can see that something is missing: yes! It's the moving mechanism! The platforms are floating in mid-air and move left and right even if Mario stands on them! 😂 Yeah, I get the falling platforms that don't move, but how can they float? 🤔

    Mario goes up when holding an item because he's a magnet, and so are the items. More specifically, negatively charged magnets. Two negatives make a positive, so that's why he floats!

    7:44 Unlike the vines, the snake blocks aren’t actually moving; blocks spawn at the front and disappear at the back. There’s nothing to carry you with it.

    The thing with some enemys cant activate the p-switch is simple. In SMM2 they added the seesaw platform with it came a weight value for all entitys afected by ingame gravity. Those enemys simply dont meet the weight required to activate the switch.

    the items rise mario when underwater because they wanted it to be in such a way that you didn't have to keep pressing the jump button while holding the run button. when holding an item mario now swims using the control stick alone

    Another small thing that doesn't make sense: if a power-up spawn and remain on screen, it never goes away. However, the same power up spawned from a Yoshi Egg stays on screen for a limited time and then it disappears( this was the case in MM1, I don't know if it's the same here too ).

    Ghosts can move through walls, but parachutes don't. But it still doesn't make sense, 'cause how can a parachute be connected with a boo? I don't get it...

    The snake blocks make sense when you consider the animation, the only two blocks that are moving are the ones at the beginning and end, every other block stays in place and gets deleted.

    I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but as far as I can remember Koopa Clown Cars even attack Mario, when there is a Mushroom or some other helpful item in it.

    I think that about the plants and the snake cubes there would be a configuration in the map maker so that if you want the character to be carried by the object or not as a collision

    I think it would be funny if when the big koopas go in the small shells, they hop in and the small shell breaks. But if the small koopa goes in the big shell, he just walks out the other side.

    parachuting boos: the walls are between the plane the boos move on and the plane the parachutes are on. (a side-effect to them cheaping out on the theater equipment)

    On the Snake Block thing, the middle parts stay in place so I guess that makes sense for why it won't take you with it. (Although the ends ARE moving... hmm...)

    More things that don't make sense: Podoboos have the same issue as the boo when on a parachute. Bloopers will die when jumped on when on land, but kill you when doing the same action underwater.

    7:30 This looks more plausive to me! Snake blocks doesn't move to translate. They build and unbuild blocks in the path. So, it makes sense Mario stay no moving when stand on it.

    You probably covered this in some video. If there are enemies or objects in a pipe, how does Mario pass through them without taking damage? And what about unlinked pipes? Despite them being there, you can't enter them.
