- Picking up the new 2024 Trek Roscoe 6. This is just a walk around video and we will hopefully get it on the trails soon. Lots of upgrades done to this model by trek. New 140mm front air fork. New Shimano cues gear set. Updated slacker frame to be on par with the Roscoe 7,8,9. And 29x2.6” tires. Thx for watching.

Sweet! Great to see the 6 in line with the other frames! Cool color too
Thank you. I agree it was a long overdue upgrade by trek. I am looking forward to getting some seat time on it.
@@TheDeGeareFamily When they planning announce 7,8,9 roscoe...Looks dope this Roscoe 6,color is spot on !
@@twinsfeederfishing4487I am not sure. Most likely if they were doing anything with those models this year it would just be color changes but that will probably be after selling down current inventory.
Congrats on your new bike day!!! Great video!!
Thank you!!
Nice bike and really nice Firebird.
Thank you on both!
beautiful bike hoping to save enough to pick one up in a month hope its everything it looks to be 🔥
I don’t have any complaints on this bike. The changes trek had made to it has made it an amazing entry level bike for the money.
Thanx for the video. Waiting for the try out video
You and me both. I am hoping to get it out on the trail this weekend so check soon for the ride.
Beautiful Bike! I want one..lol
Thx. I don’t blame you. It is a great bike.
Forgot to say. Cool car man
Thank you!
Where can I buy this bike for the bike you bought it for? Is it easily upgradable later or would it need specific parts?
You should be able to order you one from your local trek store. When I bought mine it was around $1200 usd. And with the new frame from Roscoe it seems to be easily upgradable from what I have seen.
How much did you pay for it?
Did it come set up tubeless?
The bike was $1199 usd before tax. And yes. It surprisingly came tubeless which was a nice upgrade.
Is it a good climber?
I would say yes personally. In my other video on the bike I am on some hilly terrain and the bike did great. I think the gearing is set up well for climbing and the 2.6” wide tires definitely give u all the traction needed.
this isnt even out online yet
That is correct. I was able to preorder the bike the day it was released to my local dealer. In my opinion It would appear as if they are doing a soft release to not interrupt sales on the Roscoe 7,8,9 they still have in stock.
They can drop prices on older models
I agree. They did drop the price some on the Roscoe 7. Trek normally does sales after the 1st of the year bc less people are biking and they are trying to get rid of older models before the spring.
Better off just Paying for the Roscoe 7 tbh
It really just falls down to what people are looking for. Every bike has its place. The Roscoe 6 is a great starter bike to test out the sport and see if they will like it. For me not riding in some years I went with the 6 bc it was a great price for what u are getting.
@TheDeGeareFamily Yh I understand but the Roscoe 7 is even better for its value and is completely updated with way better parts and geomometery
@@JXI0Ithe 24 roscoe 6 uses the new frame now.
Talla es
Trek has them available in all the normal sizes but I bought a m/l frame.
Those slack toptubes are not for tall riders. Panorama, has a much better frame.
So far I am loving the Roscoe bike but maybe down the road if I go looking into new bikes again I will have to check out panorama. Either way. Happy riding.
1x9 on a mountain bike??
That’s interesting.
I agree but the range feels good so far riding it around the neighborhood so we will see how it does on the trails.
I have a old Giant MTB and I converted it to a microshift 1x9 I say it's actually pretty good for riding around and the trails
