I’m using a Lew’s Xfinity 6 footer with a spinning reel I got from Walmart and it’s working great for all my creek fishing. It’s my first Lew’s rod and reel combo and I love it! Thank you so much for putting out such wholesome and informative content, it’s greatly appreciated and I’ve learned a lot from you. That’s why I bought my new combo because you recommended it.

My absolute favorite creek combo is a Shimano Nasic 500 with 2 pound mono and bass pro shops tinylite 4’6” ultra lite, y’all should definitely try out this combo
i love that you mentioned 2' 6" "ice rods". one of my favorite rods and reels is my ZEBCO DOCK DEMON 2.5' rod with a PENN PURSUIT4 4000reel with 20lb mono on it using a 6/0 circle hook. catching big catfish with that gets great reactions from people around me. im about to buy a PENN BATTLE2 4000 and spool 30lb 4 strand braid on it and put it on my other ZEBCO DOCK DEMON ROD.
My son introduced me to you and the other guys about month ago. Since then, I have watched your videos every single day, took up fishing again after 20+ years (now getting out 4 days/week), and I have 4 new rod and reel combos. 🤣 I live in the PNW and had typically targeted trout, but am now going after bass. Keep up the great content! 👊
Out in Colorado and in the small alpine creeks. I use the dock demon rod to fish the creeks. It’s nice for casting in super tight spots with heavy thick bushes everywhere

Try the 13fishing code neon ultra light it's my favorite for its super light but it has a crazy stiff back bone that's perfect for pulling fish out of structure but it's also light weight
That 1000 stradic is one of the best reels ever made. My family has used them for decades in the chatahoochie river catchung trout. They are so good that we also take them up to canada to go pike and muskie fishing. I caught a 39 inch muskie on a 4,6 ultralight with a 1000 stradic. My uncle caught a 52 inch muskie on the same rig. Best reel for all fish hands down.

If you like this you need a daiwa air bait caster and an ali express copper UL....you can throw jigs down 3 grams with 4lb braid....it's really fun in a creek or small pond!

TJ I challenge you to try something you’ve most likely never done. The challenge is set up two BFS rigs. One for the creek and one for bass. But they have to be budget friendly. Here is a hint on where to look for rods and reels. Amazon is where to look.

I bought an Medium Light Ozark Trail spinning combo two days ago, I tried it out yesterday and I was very pleased with it.

great video maybe try the tungsten jigs. you can get the micros and they should be heavy enough to sink fast enough with the current.
