I think this might just be my favorite Googan video. Seeing how stoked Mike is to have LFG and Lojo at his house and in his state is really cool. I remember watching 1Rod when it was just him rambling around Maryland making crazy videos. It’s just cool to see him this excited. I mean, he’s always excited but this is different. The three of these guys really do well together. Nothing feels forced. It’s just three dudes having fun. I love it.

Living in Maryland and very recently getting to fish with that local legend we both agree that Maryland fishing isn’t too bad. Creeks and rivers are always fun.
All you southern fishermen need to take a trip to the Chesapeake, snakeheads are legit one of the most exciting freshwater fish you can catch in the US and the taste is god tier!

Big creek chub, a 2/0 circle hook at end of the line, a bobber/sinker stop 3-4 feet up, 2 oz lead... the rig for catching massive flathead catfish in the river near me. Weight is needed because of current but it is rigged slip sinker so when a catfish picks up the bait he doesn't feel the weight. Let them run with the bait until they stop, typically 20-40 feet, stop is when they take the bait all the way in their mouth. Rear back and set the hook then hang on! I use 10 pound test line and my PB is now 42 pounds!

This is my kind of fishing. Its exactly how i catch all my fish. I go to a little creek get creek chubs and off i go for predators. My fav!!!! All time favorite fishing with live creek chubs. !!!!

I've always painted my metal minnow traps dark green and black it seems to look more natural and fish go in better.

I love catching creek chubs here In NY and we use little jig heads and the little power bait magget things the pink work best I found so far for me

Ahhh, no he doesn't. As a matter of fact, his wife makes a brief appearance in this video when they are down in the Googan tackle area of his basement. The big smile on her face shows that she was enjoying how much fun the guys were having together. A great supporter of her husband and his efforts to be the best he can be at what he does!
