Good video, but I have to speak about the sponsor. I have the CHIRP fish finder. I've had it for 3 or 4 years, and i use it A LOT. I bought it for my kayak, after trying to use an ice fishing flaker in my kayak, and dumping it in the lake. The CHIRP was cheaper than replacing my FL8, and it does SOOOOO much. I LOVE IT! It is is own wifi spot, so it works as far as you can cast it, instead of being limited by Bluetooth distance. It works on every phone and tablet I've tried it with. It records everything for playback later, including your position on the body of water. There is shore and boat fishing modes, narrow and wide beam, two different ice fishing modes, and I use mine for all of that. If I could post images here, I would. Good sponsor for a good video.
    Tight lines!

I have to thank you with all of my heart for lighting that flame again! If I’m not on the water, I’m watching you, #YakPak, #Ayo, #Norm, or the other #GooganSquad guys.
You need to come back to Texas and go to Lake Fork with me. I’ve caught over 20 double digit bass out of that lake. It’s a 16” to 24” slot so they grow big!

Just wanna say falcon rods are pretty awesome! They're made in broken bow, oklahoma, which happens to be my home state and have been in business for nearly 40 years. I've used many of them and have never broken a single rod. And i often use them for catfish and have caught several 20-30lb cats on them. They're quality is a lot better than their price tag would suggest.

Either way I recommend like 15lb braid with a fluorocarbon leader I prefer 8lb I use a foot or so leader tied with a nice tiny barrel swivel and I used a speed clip on the lure side because sometimes as you know color is king. Fluorocarbon is the leader you need regardless buddy mono has other uses.

The videos, so far, this year feel different, but in a good way, video quality is great, clean, organized, and even though they are fun content there's no shortage of quality info for the viewers. Keep up they great work we will keep tuning in👍🏻👍🏻

Rooster tail all the way, don't creek fish much, but that is my go to, especially when I go on vacation and get to fish for trout. Rooster tail is great for bass, bluegill, and river fish like gar and small mouth and especially trout

Roostertail and not the beetle spin but a mini strike King Colorado blade. Same size as a beetle spin but a spinner. I always year-round have those two tied on.

Beetle Spin, but it's gotta be those little ones that look like bees.

Rooster tail any day all day for creek fishing. Beetle spin may work better in other waters, but in creeks the rooster tail never fails to catch fish. It catches all species as well.
But you can't finesse it. If you're trying to finesse it, you're using it wrong. It's just a straight cast and retrieve. The blade has to be continuously spinning. It works best in sunny conditions, as the sun reflects off the blade. It doesn't work as well in shaded waters or low light conditions, though you'll still catch fish.
As for what it's supposed to be mimicking. Creek minnows and chubs often scrape their sides against the rocks or show their bellies to the sun and the sunlight reflects off bait fish. The blade kind of mimics that. Also....it's just a lure that can be seen from a long ways away. Sometimes all you have to do is give the fish something they can see and something that moves, and rooster tails are easy to see from a long way off when working right. This may not work well in pressured waters, but in creeks where the fish don't see a lot of fishermen, this works great.

Love the treehouse idea but you have to do it legit. Better than the camp shed house thingy. At some point you have to build a 7-10 acre pond on the property too. Like way back in the woods

Watching this video gave me an idea for a new 1v1v1 comparison challenge for you. The most expensive baitcaster combo vs the most expensive spinning combo vs the most expensive spincast combo. Spin the wheel for who gets what combo, but each person gets to choose where they go to get the combo. Biggest fish gets to keep all 3 combos.
