What a great walk you share here, Cara! The drone work shows the beautiful patterns of Spring greening & takes our focus to an understandable level of the widespread constructions thru the area.
For me the new terms you mention are so interesting.....the types of barrows...cursus.
And your nod to the infinite history of your home locale is really interesting.
I, too, hope that you re-walk this path again in another share to us.

Far out - look at that road. Clearly there and visible. I've come across a Cursus in Mid wales - pretty extensive. It's amazing these things are written into the land. Great walk and aerial archeology. Have a good week. Mark
