Thanks not alot of videos explained or really showed how to make loops like you do or even go into the body at all, this saved me a TON of time in understanding retopology. Only issue I had is the video is only a tiny bit too fast but it beats the 3 hour demonstration others do so I will take it lol.

I feel like I've been looking for this tutorial for years, it seems so simple now, thank you for making it. Now I feel like the biggest hurdle is retopo for a character with clothes (I always get stuck on things like the shirt collar). Could you make a tutorial like that some time?

Just watching your video on the botanist and you retopologize before adding clothes and just model the clothes without sculpting. I suppose the initial part of creating clothing is just the same as the retopo for the body

I love this video, but I noticed a few skips here and there that got me confused, and the transition from the back to the arm is hella hard with it going that fast- I'm trying to make sense of it, but a 5 second edited clip is making waste 2 hrs trying to understand what you did. Love how you used numbers to close loops, kinda wished you used it more for other parts

Can anyone help me with the DrawXray addon? I used it with no issues when I was doing the head, went to sleep, turned on my computer and now the addon just displays the edges with a LOT of aliasing. Literally nothing changed, nothing was updated. I tried uninstalling the addon, resetting Blender to factory settings, nothing works. Any ideas?

What is retopology even for? Why are the breasts red, why is the tummy or chest green like the eye sockets?

Retopology is for optimizing the model for animating and games, the colors on the tumbnail is just for showing the different part of the retopology, it doesn't mean nothing :)

Yeah, this does not take 5 minutes, it takes hours. For someone who did lots of retopology before. For a beginner it's nearly impossible to follow correctly in 1 attempt
