    That pedal makes the volca shine like a synth that would cost three-four times as much. Well done!

    Such a great little synth and pretty versatile but it really excels at this kind of stuff.

      You are absolutely right. The Keys got it's own sound and works really well for some things. Definitely a keeper! Did you sell yours?

      +Matt Greer Looking at a m32 for next addition. But first tidy up the studio. It looks like a nightmare. Vlog on that later!

    volca connected to the pedal (input) and the pedal (output) to the ampli or mixer (a direct channel)? I understand the sequence of the pedals but I don't know how to synchronize a volca sinter or monotron to guitar pedals !!! if you can help me with that doubt ...

    sounds really awesome I have the korg volca keys bass and beats but the sound is not really perfect without an effect pedal so i'm really thinking of buying one and this one seems perfect would you recommend it?

      Its a great reverb. Also check Zoom CDR 70

    Great video! Just can´t decide between the Hall of Fame or Zoom MS-70CDR. Both are great budget reverb pedals. Of course I´d love Strymon´s Big Sky, but that is TOO much money! Any advice?

    • @BoBeats
      @BoBeats  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you do not have many other pedals I would recommend MS-70CDR. Very versatile.

      @@BoBeats Hi, given that you have used both pedals, HOF and MS-70CDR, do you think like others, that the MS-70CDR sounds kinda "plastic" or "too digital"? Thanks in advance for your response.

      @@StuartRochabrunt I would say the HOF2 does sound better, but the difference isn't huge. Not everyone hears it, especially the non musicians. You'll be happy with either, HOF2 for the amazingly rich and lush sounds, Zoom for the amazing flexibility, delays and stacking of fx. It's a toss up I'd say. Zoom can run on AA's and lasts longer so would be the only real option for jamming outside with your Volca.

      @@OttosTheName Thank you very much for the response. A little late though, because I already got Neunaber Expanse Chroma, TC Electronic Flashback Triple Delay, and Digitech RP 360, instead any of those.

    have a question please.
    I see that the pedal has 04 jacks connected. Where are these 04 jacks connected? Two on the left and two on the right.
    I ask this because the Volca only has one output plug. As I see in the video.
    Thank you very much friend!
    Sorry. I am new at this.

    • @BoBeats

      The reverb has a stereo output so regardless of mono or stereo input you will get a different width if you use 1 or 2 cables out from the reverb.

    hi BoBeats! how did you end up liking the tc hall of fame? would you recommend it as a first mono analog synth reverb (Sub37)? or maybe the Boss RV-6? Can you recommend one of these or maybe something totally different in that price range? my dream reverb would be the Empress Reverb I think.
    An answer would be so much appreciated, because there is a lot of info about these reverbs in the web but almost always considering guitars and I think that will make quite a difference when using them with a synthesizer.

    • @BoBeats
      @BoBeats  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I still use it. Its great. I would also recommend a look at the zoom cdr 70 or 100 series

      @@BoBeats thanks for the reply! zoom looks interesting but i'm looking for a simple reverb, already got the moog delay :) so these are the reverbs you use for your synths?

    Very nice! The Volca seems to have a really smooth filter adjustment. I need to get myself one of these. Do you have a Microbrute?

    • @BoBeats
      @BoBeats  8 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hey dude, new subscriber!
    I have both of these but I can get any sound when I turn of the HOF. What is your setup from start to finish? And how does your HOF have two cables going into it if the volca only has one mono output?

    • @BoBeats
      @BoBeats  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey glad to have you here: so I run two channels because I had two synths connected (only one in this vid). And two channels out into mixer to get stereo reverb. Volca out into mono input of HoF, stereo out into mixer. Remember that you need some kind of soundcard or mixer that can amplify the output of the pedal. I don't think you can just plug in headphones for example

  • @M1ck1970
    @M1ck1970 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Great sounds......are you using the headphone out on the volca to connect to the pedal?

    • @BoBeats
      @BoBeats  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +mickey_blue_eyes yes this is correct :-)

    • @M1ck1970
      @M1ck1970 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      BoBeats hi many thanks for the reply, what type of cable is required?

    • @BoBeats
      @BoBeats  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      mickey_blue_eyes i just use a normal stereo 3.5 mm cable and a plug that converts 3.5 to TRS. But there are 3.5 to TS or TRS cables.
