I was ghost peddling in 7th gear, PAS 5 @ 20MPH. I changed the factory
chainring from 48 to 56T. Also changed the Freewheel from 14/28 to 11/28.
It made a big difference! I am now able to peddle with friction at 28MPH! You will have to install about 3 more links to your chain to access gears 1-3. I am waiting on a new longer chain from Amazon.

I liked your review. I recently ordered this off of amazon. Took it on a 33.2 mile ride this afternoon. Using mostly pas 4 with some throttle for rolling hills. Lowered pedal assist to lvl3 when i had 20% left on the battery or 1 bar left. I rode another 8 miles on PAS 3 battery bar still on 1 bar but i was pretty tired and called it a day. I really like my Engwe L20 2.0. My first ebike but think itll work for alot of people; just not those with short legs. Im 5'6" with a 33" inseam and im on my tiptoes when seated. Not the best fit for me but its doable. I do like the pedal stroke with this suspension seat so it does have its pros with a minor con : it fits best for tall people.

Possibly, but I'm not sure. Those connection ports are tucked away pretty good.

I’ve been thinking of trying 20x3 on one of my 20 in e-bikes next time I need new tires. Just to try them. It would be a good bike to buy for parts at that price.
Can't beat the price. 20x3 feels nimble.
Once you hit 20 MPH, keep pedaling and you can hit 28 MPH! Do it.
The washers on both side of the wheel in the front have a small prong on them and are meant to go into the small holes above the post slots on both sides. That is to prevent the tire from working its way off. You really need to put those on correctly.

This ebike sounds incredibly loud from the videos i've seen reviewing it. Did you find this to be the case? Is the motor noise comparable to other e-bikes you've ridden?

When you add the extra battery upgrade, it comes up as 48v not 52v. I don't see a 52 volt extra battery listed on their site. Am a missing something!

If you remove the suspension seat post you should be fine.
At 20mph you just ghost peddle, and the bike will kick up to 28mph. If the bike had 9 gears instead of 7 gears, you would be able to feel the resistance instead of ghost peddling. Other than that.. THIS BIKE ROCKS!!!!

A little higher torque hub drive motor won't match a mid drive electric motor when it comes to torque, and a 13 amp hour battery doesn't give it a lot of range especially seeing the bike limited to 20 mph. 52 volts would make it a lot faster than the limiter on the bike but with such a small battery, the range wouldn't be sufficient enough to keep the speed at 27 to 35 mph which is what 52 volts is capable of.

Top speed on throttle only is limited to 20, you need to pedal to get up to 28 even if you are ghost pedaling.

I have the SE version of the L20 and I can tell you the range of this e bike is terrible down as low as 6 miles range. Pointless e bike.

Front racks are ugly at best. This one takes it to a all new level. More than decent bike though

You can add the headlight to the tire fender. That way your light shines where your pointing. And skip the front rack.
They are going to upgrade it with some new tyres without the spokes and a big battery So people don't buy it yet they always do this Wait a little while have some patience!!💯🎉
