12m later, it's holding up great. Love it. Excellent bike. I have had to adjust the breaks a few times (perhaps because of my breaking style) and I needed a new Throttle, just inside the 12m warrenty. Bike rides like new. It's a superb bike. Genuine can't recommend it highly enough. The niggles of breaks and also the gear detailer I've out down to my usage style. Every bike needs little maintenance. So if your thinking of it. 12m later for me, I still love it. I've even purchased a spare battery so I can double my longevity and fun ☺
I nearly ordered the E26 this week, I fancied a full size step through instead of a nut buster like I've just sold, I eventually chose the Crazybird Jumper, because the latest Cyrusher is around £2800 and the jumper is £1400 with 52v 20ah, but a hardtail. I think Engwe will sell a few !
@@KS-xd6ql because I liked the look initially, and the Jumper has bigger brakes and the battery is 52v 20Ah, now having rode both bikes, the Jumper is my favourite.
Great comparison of the two bikes , i was hoping your were going to do a video of these bikes side by side ,I'll probably go for the L20 ,upgrade the brakes to hydraulic and if possible swap out the seat post for the e 26 one .keep all the great reviews coming 👍
Enjoy bro also bought the L20 in avocado green. The brakes are enough for 25km/h (i don't ride faster). Ofc if you want to unlock it, then yea you will need the hydraulic brakes 😂 if you change the seat then you can't take out the battery without taking out the seat... That sux a bit but i load the battery on the bike and can live with that. I only want to change the battery to a 48V16ah battery, but its not available now anymore in the EU. If they will provide 48v19ah batteries would even be better , then you can have 100km range on that in assist level 5 what would be amazing, but also 80km would be very cool and would satisfy me. for that you will need the 48v16ah battery. the 48v13ah battery cant do it, it will do arround 60km on level 5, or you have to use assist level 3 and pedal for a while and mix between level 3,4 and 5 to reach the 80km, but not if only using level 5, what i mostly do. Cheers
well took it out today for a road test whet can I say amazing but battery didn't last long I didn't charge thr bike wen I had it delivered as I had 5 green bars showing
Great review. However, you didn't do the correct L20 bell test. You pulled slightly then release flicked it, you should fully pull it and then you'll hear it much better as well as getting a double ring.
Great video very informative again, I have a L20 and love it, just ordered the 16ah battery from engwe site for £359, be nice to carry a spare for longer rides. 😂
Great video. None of the Engwe bikes appear to have a torque sensor. If you were going out to buy a new eBike, would you insist on getting on with a torque sensor or what is your view on the matter?
I have ridden Torque sensor and Cadence sensor. The Torque sensor is more intuitive but saying that the cadence sensor still works well at lower settings 1 and 2 if you want input more pedal power from yourself.
Hello. What is the lowest point that you can lower the seat from the ground of the e26? My wife is quite short and seat should go down to 88-90cm from the ground.
Hi there i have a question about e26 one. On official engwe EU site they state only 250w engine for this bike but if you switch to US site it's 1000w so which one i should buy (is there any differece is actually my quesion) and also EU version is 1400 eur but US is 899 which is few houndred dollars cheaper?? And is this bike legall on Eu streets?? Thanks
Confused on the climbing degree E26 is 30 but the L20 says 10 but you say both are basically the same for climbing hills surely the E26 would fly up them more
I think I’d have to opt for the e26 but at 5’8” I’m wondering if I’d struggle, out of curiosity what happens to all the bikes you review do you get to keep them?
You should be able to manage at 5ft8 but the E26 is a big bike and at 5ft 10 it was just about okay for me. Mind you I do have a short leg and long body, if that makes sense.

Sorry. 88-90cm from the ground😅
I can't measure it as I haven't got it anymore. It wouldn't suit a short person as the reach to the handlebars is quite long as well.
Hello
Which bike would you recommend between E26 and Engine 2.0
E26 is a better looking bike in my opinion, but I prefer the Engine pro 2.0 on the specs and torque.
