Stopped lifting about 8 years ago. Wasn't big by any stretch of the imagination but 180 lbs with pretty low bodyfat. I'm now getting back into lifting because I've hit the 220lbs mark with significant bodyfat. Your videos are inspirational. Thank you for your work :-)

I really thought Sam would do his best and film a “clean” day of eating to appease the masses but instead he stayed true and doubled down on his bulk diet lol. Mad props, at least he’s staying true to himself and not selling out like the rest of the industry would have done.

This helped me a lot because I was doing decreasing range of motions as I go to failure and someone told me I was doing it wrong. Full range of motion or stop they said. I kind of noticed they were wrong but seeing you do it how I like to train helped me realize there is merit to slowly decreasing range of motion as you begin to fail.

I don’t think Sam is fully aware that a crappy diet can actually destroy his health, and what bad health actually means. When you’re organs are damaged, it can translate to nerve damage and muscle wasting, which will end your lifting career; and that’s not even the worse part, obviously, since you can very well end up dead or on dialysis. This man genuinely does not realize that he’s throwing his life away; between the ped’s and all the processed food and lack of fruits+vegetables, the consequences are VERY real. If you’re gonna be on ped’s, it is even more important to eat healthy, but sadly he’s ignoring common sense and walking right into disaster. He’s gotta wake up big time.
Exactly my thoughts, just found out about this clown today, I have no respect for these morons in this day in and age. How can people be so oblivious to how important it is to eat right when you are going to war against your body almost daily, the huge spikes in cortisol from weightlifting demands absolutely solid diet foundation, not processed hell like this dude is eating
I think this form of content is undeniably good. it’s informative, and relatable. Staying away from the heavy production goes a long way, straight to the point with no fluff and it makes you want to get in the gym 💪 lets go Sam.
Ive lost it. So many deaths. 5 years consistent then I just stopped. My father passed in January and I slowly gave up on my workouts. 6 months in right now without working out, maybe 1-2 pump workouts every other week, but with all that’s happened, I’ve come to a halt. Ive turned to Sam here and there. Watching his videos doesn’t set expectations in me other than wanting it and being consistent, like he does. Say what you want about his routine and style, he’s doing it. Again I find myself sitting here doubting and doing some simple curls, but checking in and seeing the guy get at it, just gives me a lil jump in energy. Im slowly getting back to it but in the mean time, I have some structured folk like him provide this kind of content. Thank you Sam ❤️
