Just bought my first bike and its this same exact bike with the same M4 Exhaust. Im so excited to ride it once its out of the shop for service.

Im looking into a 600cc. Ive been looking at the 2012 zx6r and am really leaning towards it. However, ive recently been looking at the '06 gsxr600. Have you had any issues? Do you have an after market exhaust? If so, does your check engine light come on?
@@Godric_71 well. The rectifiers on the 06-07's have some issues. Lots of riders end up relocating it. As for other issues, it's pretty reliable, just do your normal stuff like chain tension/cleaning and oil changes.

@@Godric_71 yeah. I don't even ride and I'm 16 but I have a ridiculous amount if useless knowledge. Also. I've heard that the gear indicator screws up if you gear the bike.(not sure how common) but the rectifier is probably your biggest concern. More often that not. The rider you buy from will have probably relocated it. But the k6 and k7 gixxer 600's are my fav year. Awesome look.

It is a different part number. They made a lot of changes from 05 to 06

I'VE HAD A ZX7, ZX9, AND A GSXR 1100. I HAVE NEVER LAYED DOWN OR SCRAPPED ANY OF THEM. SIGN OF AN UNTALENTED DRIVER !!

@@TheDenis599 Is it smart to wear gloves on a motorcycle? Sure. But there’s no arguing the fact that out of all safety gear, helmets, jackets, pants, boots, eye protection, whatever, gloves are by far the least important and it sounds ridiculous to me to instantly pass judgement and hatred to someone for simply not wearing gloves. I’ve been riding 15 years and have crashed bikes on 3 separate occasions, every time without gloves and every time my hands were without a scratch. My helmets and leathers on the other hand is a different story. You need to chill the fuck out and leave people alone
