    Finrot has claimed over 10 guppies of mine. I’m starting these treatments today and picking up some of that medicine for color and antibiotics

      You also need to pay attention to the quality of guppies when keeping because the resistance of guppies depends on the breeder a lot

    I only have 3 other fish should I go ahead and treat the tank assuming that they all got it

      If you use medications for guppies, we recommend that you separate them, if your tank has problems then focus on treating the whole tank.

      @@GuppyChannel Why are my Guppy fries dying just after they have birth??

    • @GuppyChannel
      @GuppyChannel  ปีที่แล้ว

      There are many reasons :
      1) female guppies born prematurely due to stress
      2) female guppies were sick
      3) Your aquarium has problems

      Most medications to treat guppy diseases will not be safe for snails, you should prepare a hospital tank to treat sick guppies.

      According to your description, it seems that you have experience in setting up tanks, but you do not have enough experience to detect signs of disease in guppies, right?

    I’m not sure if my guppy has fin rot or not, The edges of his tail look a bit transparent, but thats all.
    He eats and moves normally.
    Could this be fin rot?

    • @GuppyChannel
      @GuppyChannel  ปีที่แล้ว

      It is possible that it is the tail membrane of guppies that is developing further

      Because males develop caudal fins on their bodies more than females

    If other fish has bitten my guppy fin.. Then it is not fin rot... So should I not separate my fish and add rock salt to main tank

    • @GuppyChannel

      We mainly guide beginners to be able to identify the types of diseases of guppies, which will sometimes be incorrect because they cannot distinguish and treat them in the wrong way
