This is legit the first time I've seen him laught. In all other video's I've seen of him he's always been dead serious, just like in the beginning of this video. @@TheTygertiger I have tried to learn my grand father's native language of German over the years with little success, then for shits and giggles, i downloaded the dutch language for Rosetta Stone, I was amazed at how similar the language is to English in many ways, it appears it would have been an easier language for me to begin with, as it sort of mixes some of the German and English language sounds together and makes the transition much easier. As you can tell, I have a rather boring life, confined most of the time to a blasted chair in a room in a house in the frozen Dakota's. Finding new and exciting things to keep my old mind occupied is, in itself a job.

Yup, and here in the Dutch Caribbean it is commonly misspelled like that on most graffiti left around on the islands. Namely Aruba. 🤣
Yep, and there's a famous story of a Dutch horse-breeder going to UK and mixing Dutch and English.
The poor guy was meeting some English people and one of them asked: "What do you do for living?" The Dutch horse-breeder said: "I fok horses." To which the English person reacted: "Pardon?" And the Dutch guy said: "Ja, paarden!"
(To understand the story completely, "Ik fok paarden" is Dutch for "I breed horses". If you wanted to say in Dutch "I f*ck horses", that would be "Ik neuk paarden." "Ja, paarden" is Dutch for "Yes, horses." Fok and F*ck sound similar and pardon and paarden are pronounced almost identically.)
This and many other delightful cases of Dutch-speakers speaking English and mixing Dutch words into their English sentences can be found in a book called "I Always Get My Sin". Guaranteed to produce minimum 2 hours of uninterrupted laughing one's head off in anyone speaking both languages.

@@TheTygertiger I have tried to learn my grand father's native language of German over the years with little success, then for shits and giggles, i downloaded the dutch language for Rosetta Stone, I was amazed at how similar the language is to English in many ways, it appears it would have been an easier language for me to begin with, as it sort of mixes some of the German and English language sounds together and makes the transition much easier. As you can tell, I have a rather boring life, confined most of the time to a blasted chair in a room in a house in the frozen Dakota's. Finding new and exciting things to keep my old mind occupied is, in itself a job.
