Very good, realistic suggestions that you can do mostly on your own. Tires are probably the most important one for performance.

Great video, as usual. I have a 2015 Q50S. I just bought new tires, Vredestein Quatro Pro's. Hotchkis sway bars. Tein lowering springs. Brake Performance drilled & slotted rotors. The rotors or at least one was bad, vibrating at every stop. Tires were $700 installed.....Tire Kingdom damaged a rim, so I got a brand new rim. Sway bars, springs & rotors were $950.00 + $630.00 labor. 9 hours at $70 hour from my forever mechanic. Wow! It's like driving a new car. Handling is so much better. Man this thing corners like a dream. Blew all my piggy bank. Was going to do drop in filters, but my mechanic was looking at them and found out the housings were both broken. He says they are not leaking air, for now, but, that's my next project. Might as well get something decent, any recommendations.

Sway bars for the g make a big difference. Tein Lowering springs as well. aFe has filters for the G and upgraded brake pads are a good thing for any car. You can take a car with test pipes and catback and put it on the dyno for a tune and make 330. Then install intakes and retune and make 333. So gains aren’t minimal. Not necessarily springs, but you’ll have to replace shocks eventually because the springs put a lot of extra pressure on the factory shocks

I'm about to trade in my 2013 G37x sedan on a super clean 2009 G37x Coupe. What I would do with a $1500 "allowance" is chip the engine, cold-air Intake, rims/tires, sway bars/springs, front strut tower brace and call it a day. As a Music lover and Audiophile, the ONE Achilles Heel with the G Series is the shitty, BOSE audio system! The system has ZERO low Bass, and it's all muddy and WAY too much Midrange/Mid-Bass to make it sound "exciting" to people who apparently don't know the difference between flat, clean frequency response and this muddy BOSE Audio set up.
