I love how CW deviated from the traditional red heat vision. So does that mean Supergirl's and Superman's heat vision is hotter than DCEU Superman? Side note: No hate on the new Supergirl, but Melissa *IS* Supergirl. The same way how Grant is Barry and Stephen is Oliver. No one can replace them. Honestly it was the writers who ultimately doomed the three.
you gotta love how planes engine's are on fire on the pilots forget to extinguish the engine fire because it's no big deal it couldn't possibly make the plane explode or anything bad at all
9:20 Kara being a real person are by far the best scenes in this show. Shes a terrific face actor. She and Chyler Leigh sold the sister relationship really well too, that was a clever mechanism to give her one steady unpowered human foil.

What problem I had with this show, when I watched it, was that they never really showed her power. I mean, not that they didn't try, she is just too powerful, and creators probably don't have enough money for good CGI effects. TBH, I had the same issue with Flash, but his power was imo presented better, more accurate to comic Flash. Supergirl on the other hand seems weak. Well, maybe not weak, but definitely not even close to her real strength.
