Disregarding how this video style has aged like a fine cheese, It's impressive to see how well these RCs made it up this hill. At one of the perspective shots, you can clearly see just how tall and steep this hill is.
My brushless Kyosho Truggy will take a hill of this grade with almost no effort. You just can't beat a low CG+unlimited power+4x4... And it ain't so noisy! Looked like a blast with the Rustler! Great Vid 5 Starz!
the video was great.... but that music killed it for me. think it would have been better to hear the natural sounds of the cars climbing the hill. and hearing the cheers and shit.... but great vid and great cars......
WOW nice vid. I like the hill but yall should try to climb some of the hills here in NC. The first buggy looking thing is custom built. I can tell it has an E/T Maxx rear and maybe a rustler or somthing similar for the front. Nice looking Savage with the yellow cuda body.
BOC is perfectly fine for hill climbing... Think of the era in which it got really big. And I have no idea what's up with the bad comments, this video is awesome!
WOW what a cool vid! my fav is the wannabe hpi 5b that was a t-maxx rear with a custom front the last t-maxx is messed up ( yellow wheels, purple body, red chassis) good old 1990's traxxas and hpi battle!!!!
loving the video. just wish there was some sweet hills to climb like that in Cambridge (UK). i'm thinking of getting a Losi Aftershock and challenging my mate's to a hill climb. we have a few chalk pits that could prove interesting.
The nice thing about the T maxx is that there is a wider variety of parts and are more readily in stock at hobby shops. The savages are a more durable truck. Either way is a good way to go
nice vid guys. amazing job. I have a question though. this is for anyone to answer. I'm looking for a decent monster truck or buggy, for a price of 250 or 300, any suggestions? engine doesnt matter as long as i can eventually change it to either a hyper .21 or a good .28 soo if you could give me a couple suggesstions that'd be greatly appreciated, thanks for the help.
(part 2) suspension. Because when you land, it will just jump back like the 1st try. It flipped backwards. Oh yeah, Kenny. Don't put too much speed. When entering the hill, slow down a bit THEN go for the kill. Don't rely on the speed. Rely on the terrain. Remember, the more bumps, the more jumps,
anthony, do you think you could make a slide show of your buggy, im in the process of building a hill climbing buggy similar to yours and would like to see how yours is set up. thx alot
@midnigthproduction no, i think the first one might be gasoline powered, the rest are nitro powers. its a very high octane nitro-methane fuel ( like what they use in thoes 8000hp dragsters) thoes little trucks have an engine block about .25-.32 qubic inch engine block. and they make around 3 HP.
What type of car is the one with the roll cage, I saw an olschool one probablly almost 30 years old sitting in this hobbie shop all dusty that resembled it.The one I saw had a gas engine about a weed wacker size, and a chain drive.
I dont know what everyones on about that was one of the best songs ive ever heard!!!! also get some sand slingers or paddle tyres to really conquer that hill
You should go again to the left side then make a sudden right turn when you're almost at the top. Just like to replay on 1:31. It was already good when it hit a little bump. When entering the hill, don't swerve. It will just power slide then it will roll over. Don't put too much pressure on the
eye right pal, ur slash will get humped! plus i have one and they ground all the time on standard suspension setup, i'm now using the toughst traxxas springs!
You should go with an electric Traxxas Stampede. It is only 2wd but they are very upgradeable and simple to work on. Later you can always go with a brushless set-up. I have one with a Mamba 7700 set-up, It is crazy fast...or you could get the VXL version.
this is one of the best rc videos i've seen in a while. i'd love to try that with my brushless revo. great music too !!!!!!!!

Wow!!! 2 things I love! Progressive house music and rc's. What's the name of this song?! It's awesome!
BOC is perfectly fine for hill climbing... Think of the era in which it got really big.

WOW what a cool vid!
my fav is the wannabe hpi 5b that was a t-maxx rear with a custom front

LOL I was insulted and im cracking up. I got told. haha
nice smooth hill nice length and nice inclince.. would love to have something like it for my 30kg buggy.
nice vid guys. amazing job. I have a question though. this is for anyone to answer.

just out of curiosity, did u attempt that so many times it made those tracks, because i would find it hard to get a bike up that.
(part 2) suspension.

I feel so much better after listening to some disco richard simmons music. Thats much better than the scream of a nitro engine..thanx
Sweet video. Looks like a perfect hill to climb.
very entertaining video, looks like a lot of fun, keep her lit
man that is one the best ive seen for a while,i would like to see a 30cc baja try that hill!

Sweet video! That T-Maxx is bad news. What is it running for a motor?
man at the top has one job to do and he can't even do that!! LOL your FIRED!!
@midnigthproduction no, i think the first one might be gasoline powered, the rest are nitro powers. its a very high octane nitro-methane fuel ( like what they use in thoes 8000hp dragsters) thoes little trucks have an engine block about .25-.32 qubic inch engine block. and they make around 3 HP.
thats the coolest rc video yet...how much does it cost toget into rc gas powered?? im thinking id like to take it up as a hobby...do you enjoy it??
Nice !!! wish i had my mgt4.6(with LRPspec3 .28) there to give it a try. Sweet rigs!!
ya my buddy had em...offroad is what i want..they seem to takeaot of abuse///or do you have to get them upgraded???
why dont you use bucket tyres, sort of like a sand rail?
That hill must have been a sweet find.
great video. thats a mean hill what a challenge
i am a 15 year old who is interesting in rc hillclimbing and i was wondering if you would recomend a certain rc car
my favorite rc video right here
this is the first ever video i watched on youtube
Me too :D
LOL! Great show. Hope everyone is ok.
Awesome video. I would love to be able to hear those nitro engines screaming up that hill.
lol from 4:26 to 4:34 that car geas right in front of the catcher but then it turns the other way and rolls down. lol good vid
What type of car is the one with the roll cage, I saw an olschool one probablly almost 30 years old sitting in this hobbie shop all dusty that resembled it.The one I saw had a gas engine about a weed wacker size, and a chain drive.
I dont know what everyones on about that was one of the best songs ive ever heard!!!! also get some sand slingers or paddle tyres to really conquer that hill
cool is that a 4wd coz it loooks like a 2wd judging by the dirt coming from the back tyres
This is the same spot where the excursion and jeep hill climb videos are. aint it?
that is cool mn.. i like the t-maxx tires.. there like boggers lol
there must be another way ! ahah no seriously great vid
is the rear of that buggy made from a t maxx? it looks like the tires and shocks are from a t maxx...
go rustler! that little rustler did good considering it 2wd i got a n. rustler and its awsome!
impressive especially the tumbles backward. bet a on board camera would have some neat vidio.
looks like a nice set up. i like that it uses a Picco built engine too. Id get it. but thats me
need one so bad I love rc but don't got the money and cool vid
That looks awesome. might be getting a Traxxas for x-mas... :P
Which music?
wright on man that was so cool!!!!

this is sick nice video man.

the first car's rearpart was from a t-max? right?
i love the music
NICE What is the caris the bule oneat the end
What's the rc car in 2:00?
@ninadawg99 The rules were probably no 4WD. If not don't you think they would've used it?
hey try the traxxas summit in low with the right locked diffs... 4wd rocks
is anthony's buggy custom built? and what size of motor does his buggy have?
I got a suggestion, how about you put a bigger spur gear & four wheel drive on the savage ??
What happen to the original track?
Look at the rear end squat down on that Charger! Thats power!
cool, and nice rc cars
bob and kenny had some awsome wrecks!!!!
that 3rd one a hemi cuda?
Bobs rustler did good too, maybe add some weights in the front would probably make it all the way to the top.
You should go with an electric Traxxas Stampede. It is only 2wd but they are very upgradeable and simple to work on. Later you can always go with a brushless set-up. I have one with a Mamba 7700 set-up, It is crazy fast...or you could get the VXL version.
is this in the nj pine barons?
and what type of tires are they. like the namebrand?
Great video to cool 😎
Hey I thought that good. A set of paddle tires and crank the droop in the rear all the way out, plant the tires and go!
That buggie puts out some roosters tails!
nice vid man!!! well for the rc cars u had back then!!!! my revo 3.3 or e revo would kick that hills ass!!!
Why didnt u take paddle tires ?
Why if they enjoy it thats great. Differnt strokes for different folks. Rc is fun.
