Ive seen the goyf that this belongs too, they arent factory miscuts, somone got their hands on the sheet and dit it themselves. My buddy has 4 foil miscut knights of the reliquary from the edge of what im assuming is the same sheet

It's not said in the video but the miscuts are not factory cut. These were cut later from a full foil sheet of Modern Masters that was probably won at a GP or something.

they would cost more if they were factory cut, yes, but the NFC ones still hold value for certain people
you can generally tell if a card is not factory cut by looking at the corners
confirm, this is NFC.

Please note that this is not correct. Factory miscuts are very very often cut the same front and back. The distinction is the corners (which even factory miscuts can be weird on, so this isn't a sure thing) combined with a knowledge of which sheets are regularly cut.
Again: the front and back being miscut the same way is NOT a sign that something is NFC, and it's definitely NOT "most likely" NFC. However, if the front and back do NOT match, then it is almost certainly a factory error (there are exceptions, but you can assume this is the case for our purposes).
I've seen other cards from these exact same sheet cuts. They pop up occasionally on the Misprints and Oddities Facebook group but are always labeled as NFC. Very rarely do cards are get miscut so largely and so perfectly out of the factory like this. You can ebay search NFC cut cards and find ones like this from all sorts of sets.
I will leave out the dollar amounts , by which I mean put it in the title.
it was just an estimate rather than specification. we all know the general price of the cards(pretty easy to find) and we could have guessed as much anyway.
There's a difference in the value of the cards and what he may have bought them for.

I believe the elesh norn and mox opals are NFC's, which in the misprint community means not factory cut. Probably got a foil a sheet and custom cut it.

Hey Rudy!! Is there any way you can show us what we should see throught that magnifying glass? And most importantly what we shouldn't see in it. Like a nice comparison so timmy's at home and buy themselves a 20x magnifying glass and a shiny light and start telling fakes apart on our own. For my part im good with telling them apart by their texture and the gloss on the cards but i can't really do an extensive and clear breakdown of all the elements required to make sure i do not buy a fake and be 100% sure on my skills. And i also believe that could help a lot of viewers and also contribute to make a dent in those guys wallet that make them. That would be nice to educate us a bit more on that. Thanks man for all your videos and i love your channel.

Those miscuts look like Non-Factory Cuts, guessing you would be aware of them but people buy sheets and get em miscut on purpose that exact way from a non WOTC place.

Those are not factory cut (nfc) miscuts. People buy sheets and purposely cut them incorrectly.

hey Rudy, why do you leave the sleeve and the top loader openings to the same side? I always do it like I do double sleeves so that it doesnt get air into it.
Realistically, what would you say the minimum price is for a tournament legal P9 set? I'm becoming more interested in Vintage, and once I stabilize and save up enough funds I plan to start in mtgo since it's cheaper and more popular there, but I do plan to eventually build a Vintage Hurkyl's Recall/Paradoxical Outcome Storm deck. Also I think it would be bad ass to add those to my collection

nowi know what kind of crap story i just have to send with a letter, to make cards be sold easily. cant say it often enough. you are looking for 2 layers on a card, but any technician can create 1 to 1 cards, that look exactly like original cards.

Since the other 8 were real, and you've handled it, it's probably 99% sure to be real anyway.
How comes you never check the front ?
I always check the front of my Vintage cards for the pattern, because as I understood they sometimes put a fake cardfront on a real cardback.

I am writing this comment from beyond the grave. I know, I'm as surprised as you you are, maybe even more so. I was doing fine, until Rudy dropped that camera, and then, everything went all dizzy and blurry, and since it had been at least three days since my last bender, I was like at least 97% certain that this wasn't the drugs. Again. Anyway, I was at first upset that I wouldn't be able to watch any more of Rudy's videos, but it seems that somehow I am still able to interact with TH-cam and the internet at large. Something to do with all the cloud stuff I guess? There is one down side though; no tacos of any sort, floppy or not. So, Rudy, for the sake of other viewers, please treat your camera with the same love and care that you do for your Clefairies. Thank you for your videos, and thank you for your time!.
