Glad to hear it! Radar is already super complicated and hitting all the keys in the right order to get missile kills can be daunting when you are first learning
Being able to take custom loadouts is the best buff this plane has gotten in quite some time. You can take 2 rocket pods under the fuselage as flares for uptiers, and tailor the exact number of 7Cs you actually want to take. Oh, if you're quick you can shoot the 7Cs from outside their seeker gimbal circle, it lets you lead them a bit more for closer shots Oh, and the 7Cs can't distinguish ground clutter from a target, so just because your radar can see the target is no guarantee the seeker of the 7C can. The same principle applies to Aim9c and Super530F
After one week of grinding in this plane I came to the same conclusion, "Don't play this plane". Thank you for the video btw, your voice is way better in this one. Liked and subbed.
Its strange to say but the sparrows almost make me do better (for gun kills) when i just have them on granted i just get weighed down by them but I love the demon
2:28 Exactly the missing link for me. Probably going to save me some frustration testing it out to figure the order of operations. I have IRST lock function on the chat wheel since my Thrustmaster HOTA is somewhat limited on buttons. I'll figure out something that makes sense thank you
Have a very vivid memory as soon as I got the F3H asking in the chat "got any tips for flying the Demon?" to which the reply was "Don't." If only I had listened 😂
After recently spading this thing ive come to find out that if i just use ro ket pods as flares and no missiles that shes a mean little dog fighter. I use about 20 mins of fuel as well
Is there any benefit to adding this plan as your top plane with 8.3's, for example, so your BR is 9.0? Or am I misunderstanding how the match maker works. at 9.0, you would only see other players at 10.0, no?
This video was made when the 10.0 bracket was still extremely compressed. After the BR changes a couple of weeks ago the F3h is in a much better and playable state :)
@@aybaer3668 will one of the reasons why I like War Thunder is that they try to keep it within real standings of the real life vehicle the demon was underpowered in real life and it should be in the game the AIM 7c was junk in real life so it should be hard to use in the game I just don't understand the stalinium

Yeah I had a good time spading it with the aim9bs, but never even took out the Sparrows because I knew they'd be more trouble than they're worth.
Having the Phantom C with the Aim 7D I frankly thing they are close to now usable in the WT typical game/meta.
Aim7d is much better than the C which the F3h has.
10.0 seems to be better with f-4c because you get a lot of down tier and people don’t expect the 7D

There is no benefit to bringing this plane with an 8.3 lineup because then your max up tier is 10.3.
how to do you set the radar to 93km? mines only 19?

"Change radar scope/scale"
how do you lock targets it track mode? i can only do it in ACM
If you are already in track mode you will need to unlock the target and select a different target to lock
how come it blows up might flight at 8-10 miles away in pve though? i hardly ever get kills with this missile. :(
Missile guidance time expires, or you lost radar lock
Because is it the worst missile in the game. None of its specs are accurate either.
the 7c are the worst missiles in the game i have not gotten 1 kill with them
