Haha. The HAAS F1 team is how you felt. That made me laugh. Crazy to see you get the point by from those cars! I'll be out at Buttonwillow on Saturday with my Yaris. Hope I get a couple of point by
so good to see another Yaris on the track :) especially considering yesterday I had my first session on a track, but this time without any trouble, and was able to drive back home in it
I have a really big problem w/ willow springs. Messing up Turn 4 at high speed is basically guaranteeing great bodily injury. Doesn't matter if you're wearing hans, doesn't matter if you have a roll cage and all your oem crash zones intact. The truth of the matter is if you cook that turn, there's a wall right in front of you at over 100 mph. Safety concerns have been brought to the track owner before but shrugged off. instead of improvements such as sufficient runway for gravel and sand as well as a tire wall, it's just a f***ing wall. no excuses.
I’ve been watching for awhile, I’m having an issue with my Yaris and wondering if u had the same issue, on my driver side coil-over the damper hits the plastic cowel with how much the shock moves, any idea how to fix it? Only Yaris TH-cam I know lol.
I don't get why they don't flag or pull folks from groups who are WAY off the expect pace... things like that would never stand at a sport bike track day but for whatever reason they just let it happen ALL THE TIME!
the newer yaris is only 4 pounds heavier then your yaris. the 2010 has a coefficent of .31 the new style has a coefffiecient of 0.286 and actually has more HP so its actually faster so you would lose like 1 second.
That change in horsepower is likely due to a change in the intake or the tune, and my Yaris doesn't have the stock intake or tune anyway. As far as the engine goes, the newer ones are the same 1nzfe. And the drag coefficient difference is probably down to the front bumper cover. If I want the benefits of the newer model, I could try grafting that front cover onto mine, but more than likely I would get more benefit from an air dam, and a front splitter which would change the drive coefficient anyway. The newer yaris might have been a better option but also so would literally anything else and that's kind of the point. Race what you have.

Come On!
What are your tire pressures set at??
Cold I'm running 26 up front, 28 rear. Hot that comes up to about 31 all around, and if not, I make adjustments until it does
bit of a shame you use the old one, would be nice if you used the new one, between the mazda and this one.
yarises are pretty fast.
