  • Hey guys, thank you so much for watching this video! In this video I'm using a TPRS method to learning, which is when a native speaker talks and a learner has to answer different questions about that topic.
    It should be relatively easy!

    Wonderful pacing. While it's a very simple paragraph, this speed for more complicated words and phrases would be perfect. Listening exercises help a lot as well. Thank you for the video!

    I stumbled upon your channel because I want to learn russian and I was using duolingo, but duolingo doesn’t explain any grammar. This videos are very helpful for me to understand the logic behind the grammar. This video was really helpful as well I could pick up more or less what you were talking about, but didn’t understand everything, mostly the meats and dairy products because of my lack of vocabulary. Thank you for making these videos, hopefully I will be able to speak russian one day. Cheers from Hungary. Пока!

    Daria is cool. And Max, Nastya, Veronika, Maria Petrova, russianpod101 are some I like as an absolute beginner... while there's a few others I watch but these ones are currently uploading content frequently... Alfia, Russian Language-Russian Soul, Romashka... there's a bunch of good stuff out there.

    Я очень люблю TPRS! It puts a context to the words. Hearing them pronounced well helps. Only suggestion would be to add Russian script. It might be closest way to learn language remotely. Спасибо!!!

    I thought пить was a verb for "to drink," but maybe that's the infinitive (not conjugated).

    I liked the video, but right now I have no idea where i should start with learning russian. Should i start with just pure vocabulary, phrases or grammar?

    • @catherinebel
      @catherinebel 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi, I started with alphabet, and watching every day a russian film. Then videos. You have plenty of choice. The best are slow russian videos and T P R S method.

    Феодор, товарищ - I enjoy your videos but, on this one, you really should have included the printed Russian text on the screen. I am a visual learner so, spoken Russian isn't enough for the lesson to stick.

  • @Edo9River
    @Edo9River 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    YES!!!!!!!!!! you should take 3 minutes to do this with EVERY video. And as for the content of the readings, you have to base it on what you have already taught in the current lesson, or as a review for earlier lessons. I think you should buy one of the language learning reading books in Russia and read it here. So when you plan your future lessons , have an idea of what vocabulary that you need to include to prepare he students for the listening, comprehension..
