So, in Russki the Sun (Solntse) is a neutral noun? Very interesting, because it seems to have different grammatical genders in different languages, for example, in Norse Sól / hin Sól / Sólin is a feminine noun, as it is in most other Norse languages like Norwegian (ei Sol or en Sol / Sola or Solen) and Icelandic and Faroese (same as in Norse) etc, while in Danish and Swedish (en Sol / Solen) it is an en-ord aka en-word (having a common grammatical gender that includes both masculine and feminine nouns) and in German (die Sonne) is a feminine noun and in Dutch and Limburgish (de Zon) is either a masculine noun or a feminine noun as it’s a de-woord, and, in Spanish (el Sol) and in Galician and Portuguese (o Sol) it’s a masculine noun, as it is in most other Latin languages, while in French (le Soleil) is a masculine noun!
