    Enjoyed the video, but was surprised that you wouldn’t rinse your wash mitt between the front quarter, either door, and then the rear quarter when doing the lower half of the car on a vehicle like an Alfa. I understand you were gonna clay it and such, but dirt sits on those lower parts no matter what power washer and foam combo you use.

    • @DetailGroove
      @DetailGroove  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I get what your saying. That's the unfortunate thing about TH-cam detailing vs real life detailing. Every single thing that isn't held to the highest degree of other TH-cam detailers is criticized as wrong. What i did vs rinsing off the wash mitt, vs using a new wash mitt on every panel, will yield an insignificant difference. And because this is TH-cam, someone is going to read this comment and call me a hack and I cut corners 🤷🏽‍♂️

    • @taylorwallingford8319
      @taylorwallingford8319 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I see where you’re coming from. It just stuck out to me because I wash so many coated vehicles. I guess with this car not being coated, and (as mentioned before) it was going to get clayed anyway, it’s not the end of the world. The difference is minimal.

    Thanks for all the vids man. I think what some people fail to appreciate is it's work putting these vids together and you're sharing a lot of info you don't have to share. Yeah things aren't gonna be exactly the same for you in your area but it's just more info for free that you can add to your reservoir of knowledge to help you find your own way, and it's free. I started my business a few weeks ago and I'm getting clients and making good money (altho I definitely undercharged a couple times lol) but that's how you learn and seeing someone else doing it who's already made a lot of the mistakes helps build confidence

    america is a really strange place you pay two times once for the job and the 2nd for social anxiety. these jobs cost like combined cost 200 dollars in the middle east if you're going to the most professional place but regular detailers maybe cost half of this and we have cheap detailers that do it for 30 dollars but those are not that good lol

    I’m always amazed the charging points in the USA. Sadly in the UK we are very much lacking behind and people would simply not pay £100 ($120 equivalent) and another £200 for the car to be stripped and waxed.. take it whilst you can guys - great video
