  • In this video, I show you how and why I chose to do an #ACVrinse. You will see images of my hair from before and after the apple cider vinegar rinse. This rinse helps to clarify your scalp, nourishes your hair, removes excess product build-up, and so much more! I am sharing my journey with you all in hopes that you may find some inspiration in my #curltransformation. These videos are me documenting the process and hopefully helping anyone who is at the beginning of their #healthyhairjourney, like I am. Please let me know what you think. Have you tried this before? Also, let me know what other types of videos you'd like to see. If you're a rookie or a veteran in the #curlcommunity, all feedback/questions are absolutely welcome.

    That's it, I'm HOOKED! Had to push the subscribe button. Once again, I needed this (& I didn't even realize how much). My hair looks just like the before pic on a regular basis & to think i've been having a whole bottle of Bragg sitting in the kitchen this whole time. Tysm, BTW you're GORG!

    Ahhhh I hate the smellll but tempted to try this .. so after the rinse did you use shampoo and conditioner again ? ... does your hair smell like apple cider vinegar the rest of the day ??? Lol thanks ❤️

    • @CurlsbyShirlz
      @CurlsbyShirlz  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The smell actually goes away completely and I only rinsed it with cold water since it was already clean. Personally, I shampooed and conditioned prior to the rinse. However, you may want to shampoo before and condition after. This is your preference and depends on your hair’s needs.

      If anything, I would condition after rinsing it out. Or at least just a leave-in conditioner.

    I just did a treatment but it doesn't appear that I did it correctly after watching your video and others. First off I didn't wash my hair beforehand. Secondly I didn't leave it on my hair for any period of time after I massaged it into my scalp. After I rinsed it out, I washed my hair with a co-wash then applied my styling products. My hair is still wet so I don't know what it will look like after it dries. I probably will not see any difference. I may have to try this again on my next wash day if I see no results. I have high porosity hair, 3B curls and I have had a build up of products on my hair to the point where it doesn't look clean after I wash, its drier than usual and frizzy. Anywaaaay thank you for the tips. Your hair is beautiful.

      Girl your hair is beautiful! As soon as you embrace your curls and learn what works best for your hair type, your hair will flourish! I’d suggest figuring out your exact hair type and porosity and then searching videos on here of other people with the same hair type so you can learn more from them. And you know you can always reach out to me
