    would you consider applying some type of epoxy resin where those pads were gone(to hold down the components)?. unlikely but i feel if it drops or gets a shock those filters could separate from whatever little pcb material is left

    Good Job. What about the two components next to the second filter. Shouldn’t they be connected in line with the filter where the trace broke off?

    Hi. I was on my ipad while it was charging and smoke. Started to come out of it also some sparks came out of or , know the srcreen Halfway off and burnt the back , I’ve had the iPad for 4 yrs and few months . In for all my passwords words and personal stuff on there

      Lot's of practice! You see the smile after he completes the task and it works. It's worth the time and not too many people have the patience, smarts, equipment and steady hand to do it. It is very satisfying work!

    I was a little bit concerned about FPC's plastic deformation but everything ended up well. Good work, man.

      Just because the display connector clicks inside, the outer surface if deformed won't harm the connection
      Only if the connector unclicks after sometime by a little jerk but still iPhone's have the strip over the connector so won't be an issue

    It would be nice to know what these repairs you show on your videos are costing. You make it look so easy and you mention this repair and that repair took anywhere from 5 minutes to 30 minutes. You are very talented and knowledgeable and I like that.
    On another note, your videos are very clear and informative.
