How can you not like Frankie, Fabian and Bobby Rydel even though they are before my timel? I saw Back to the Beach the day it was released to the theaters. One of the best movies of the '80s. I knew about his trumpet playing but didn't know he cut early records or made an appearance on the Jackie Gleason show. WOW!!!
When I lived in Toluca Lake I took my daughter trick or treat in the exclusive section of TL. I couldn’t believe it when Frankie Avalon & his wife answered the door with all their children. Wonderful, friendly beautiful family.
My older sisters and mom loved him and Fabian and Bobby Rydell . I think he forgot to mention here that he Fabian and Bobby Rydell you stood for around and their act was called The Golden Boys .
Actor then singer. He is Awesome. He might have gotten tired of making the beach movies but we loved them. Classic movie channel has finally brought back some of (not Frankie's movies) but the young love movies I haven't seen in like forever. Like (Where the boys are), (Palm Springs Weekend), (A Summer Place), I wish they would put more of these types of movies back on to rewatch again.
I know Frankie Avalon from everything he has done. He is so multifaceted. Good to know he is still performing. He is truly a living legend. I loved his Beach Party movies so much I bought a collection of them.
I didn't realize he was so young in the late 50's, early 60's. I love his songs Venus and Beauty School Dropout. Grease being one of my all time favs. I first saw Grease as a stage play in Melbourne in the 70's, was thrilled when the movie arrived, and then last August, saw it as a stage play in England. Unfortunately, haven't seen Frankie live in a stage play. That would be Amazing! Glad he's still going strong!
Frankie Avalon will always be a teen idol in the singing department. His voice has always been crisp and spot on .his the boy next door approach paid off big time. God bless him singing beyond 80. Such a great talent 👏. Go get 'em Frankie 💯 may every dream come true 👍
He’s been married over 50 years to the same woman. That’s extremely rare not only Hollywood, but also in general. I’m looking forward to my wife and I being married for a long time.
I thought the MAD Magazine parody of Grease was funny when the teens saw him as the angel and said ".. Frankie! I thought you died...!" to his response: "I didn't die, my career did...!" Hahaha! All kidding aside I've always enjoyed his work and music!
Funny thing is I always thought he was one of the original Mousecatiers(sp) but I guess that was just his onscreen partner Annette. But I have loved everything I've seen him in and heard him sing. But now I have to look up some more. Also can't wait to try his food!!!
Drop out? This is ridiculous! Frankie has been playing Vegas and touring with Fabian and Bobby Rydell as The Golden Boys for the last 60 years. Of course, Bobby just died last week but Frankie and Fabian will now start touring with Lou Christie in their Golden boys show.
I WATCH FRANKLIE AVALON IN ALL IS BEACH ⛱️ MOVIE 🍿🎥 HE MADE IN THE PASS LOVE ❤️ EVERYONE OF THEM , GREAT WONDERFUL BEAUTIFUL NICE AMAZING JOB 👍 FRANKIE AVALON ,I GIVE YOU TWO THUMB 👍👍 UP ON ALL YOUR MOVIE. ⛱️🍿🎥👍❤️
Glad to know that you had a fun time watching Frankie live! Thank you for sharing this. What other types of video would you like to see on our channel?
In 1983, he signed with CBS's Bobcat records and released "You're the Miracle" in 45 and 12-inch single formats, however for the 12-inch single, the label used the wrong spelling of "you're".
Oddly enough he turned up in the British Horror film, The Haunted House Of Horror. A proto-Slasher film which became something of a cult classic decades after it's 1969 release.
I don't know that you were born September 18, 1940...I was born February 19, 1939 Ampy Cesare...that's means I am one year older than you okay goodbye be good to yourselfs OKAY ❤❤❤
