I think many celebrities hate the roles that made them famous just as many musicians grow to hate their most famous songs. It becomes monotonous and suffocating. Imagine having to play the same songs every day of your life! Listen to Rick Nelson's "Garden Party" which sings in frustration that he was still expected to sing the same hits he had ten years ago instead of expanding his musicianship into new genres. And the end of the song, he muses "If memories were all I sang, I'd rather drive a truck."
So amusing to hear all of this now so many years on after the fact .Most up and coming actors of today , could only dream of finding such lasting fame ......
*How did Faye Dunaway's performance in "Mommie Dearest" win praise from Joan Crawford herself when Joan was dead before the book was even published?* Now, her performance was maybe praised by Christina Crawford, her daughter, but I don't know.
From what I’ve read, Faye Dunaway didn’t get roles because she was a NIGHTMARE to work with. She did so well as Crawford because they’re cut from the same cloth. Dunaway took things out on people at work, Crawford at home.

Correction, the first actor considered and offered the role of James Bond was Cary Grant. But Cary Grant turn down. Add, Goldfinger was Sean Connery's 2nd Bond movie. His first was Dr. No.
Connery should have thanked God he got the role that catapulted him to star glory. If Bond had not happened to him he would have been a grade C actor, going nowhere fast! ♐
No Star don't want to get stuck in the same role. They want to be known for many different other roles also. Cause they get typecast and can't get no more roles in Hollywood.
Kathleen Turner did not like her role in Body Heat where she played a sizzling-hot femme fatal. In interviews she said that it made her very uncomfortable and turned to broad comedy roles. This was very disappointing. I was enthralled with her in Body Heat, how she set up Ned Racine using her sexuality. He went to prison for life and she ended up living wealthy on a tropical island. She was powerful in the role that made her uncomfortable.
I do not pity any actor that takes any part for fame and money then gets stuck with it. Sometimes you get more than what you wanted in the first place. That's the breaks kid.

I had to back up and laugh at the photos of "David Niven" and "Roger Moore" at around 2:29. I guess it didn't occur to the person compiling the images that people often sit in someone else's chair!! And neither of them is David Niven. I figured out who was in Roger Moore's seat. Can you?
sean connery and daniel craig hates the role of james bond, but the only actors to like the role were the remainders like brosnan, moore, dalton, i think george would have done another one, i forgot the story about his falling out, i think he hated it i guess, wow i didnt know about that for the other people makes sense, but it sucks to hear that i think carrie later on became more prone in fandom of the role, maybe harrison ford is up there as well, i dont know, but crazy to see that.

He was a bit part nobody, going nowhere, until he had the break of the century, Unmatched fame , exposure, and MONEY, not to mention his extramarrital 'kills'. OH DEAR, he didn't get the choice parts he wanted. Well actually, once his coffer's were bulging , he did walk away and had choices of parts, not many of them up to much. In his former wife , Diane Cilento's auto biography, she claims he was a typical mean Scot with his money. While they were seperated, he refused to give financial help towards their young sons education, despite his millions, and still making films, unlike his wife, who's career was on hold, to bring up their son. He was violent towards her too. He publicly claimed he approved of it.
I don’t know about an actress today they are young because superhero movies are not my favorite at all I think you’re kind of silly you’re making too much emphasis on the superhero genre of movies I don’t like horror movies I hate them the ones they make today and I don’t like some of the comments I make they’re too silly I mean way too silly. The movies I like or biographical movies based on film stars and other people know the kind of movies I like in family movies and Christian movies.
