  • In this video, you get a thorough walkthrough of the first sim racing product from Asetek SimSports: Invicta, the high-end sim racing pedals (www.asetek.com/simsports/prod...)
    Our CEO André Sloth Eriksen talks about how he has been involved in motorsports for most of his life. He explains the mechanics of how real-world racing works and how we have built that into the Invicta pedals.
    André then gives an up-close look at our patent-pending T.H.O.R.P. design in the pedals’ brake cylinder. You also get a first look at the alpha version of our software RaceHub which in time will allow you to calibrate all your Asetek SimSports products in a flash.
    Lastly, André gives a sneak peek in our testing room, where we push our hardware prototypes for maximum reliability.

    With Invicta and all our future sim racing products, we want to make you feel like a real race car driver.
    To achieve that, you have to know real motorsports first and then know how to engineer that into the end product for the sim racers at home. At Asetek SimSports, we work with performance, precision, and passion in all our products to achieve that.

    After watching all my favorite sim racers on youtube review these, I had to order them for myself. After watching this video, I am even more excited now that I really understand the logic and reasoning behind this system. I can really see how drastically these can improve my braking over the load cell pedals I'm using now.

    The testing is way beyond anything i have ever seen before too. Certainly hard to imaging this gear ever breaking down on any sim set up.

    You need to take into account the difference between sim racing and real life. For many, it is much more comfortable to sim race without shoes. Such a pedal needs no more than 30 kg of pressure with a smooth pedal surface. Since you loose some pressure information, pedal travel is a good thing to have there.

    whose idea was to mount gas and break pedal together without possibility to change distance between each other. I'm using only 2 pedals, no clutch and Asetk for me is useless. You should read why people buying Heusinkveld. One of the main reason is freedom to put break anywhere they want.

    • @AsetekSimSports
      @AsetekSimSports  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is by design and because we believe this is the right way give to give racers an immersive racing experience. It's okay if it doesn't match your personal preference - you can't appeal to everyone at the same time :)
      However, there are still plenty of ways sim racers can adjust the pedals to their preference. One of them is the movable pedal plates. You can move those to create extra space should you need it :)

    • @Culver9
      @Culver9 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@AsetekSimSports sorry for my rude tone, I was just very frustrated that such a nice product can't be modify. I'm using 3dof platform and between my legs I have supporting rod so I can't keep gas and break next to each other. Anybody with supporting rod or stand like wheelstand pro won't be able to use your product. That's why I think it would be a better idea to keep break and gas separate, same as your clutch.
