Mihai Morar I dont think it'll top volume 4's but itell be a close second. Especially with Smile and triumph.
I like some of Volume 4's songs, but I like volume 5's so much more.
This, Smile and the Triumph will make the Season a close second, but last season we had Bad Luck Charm, Armed and Ready and Let's just live, so I think that was the strongest OST.
Granted, once we have full versions of everything else, I may eat my words lol.

The first "From Shadows" was her hatred and her state of mind being brainwashed by Adam
"This Time (From Shadows)" is about Sun standing beside her while she wishes for peace and to fight a war against the hatred she once held
TheDarkOrigins It's actually about Ghira and Blake and them wanting to reform the White Fang. There's nothing about Sun at all there and don't give me that "Spite to Love" bullshit because Blake literally said Sun was "Earnest" not "Love."

Its actually from ghira and blake's perspective. Like, watch episode 14 again: Ghira is all like ''a new brotherhood" and kali is like ''they'll need a new leader", it makes no sense for sun to be the one singing with blake since we havent been shown that he had some racism problems/was into the white fang/whatever, he's carefree and does what he does because of blake, not for faunus. It makes way more sense for it to be about ghira and blake, especially because of episode 14, even if you take ''spite to love'' it still doesnt make it about sun since his word is love (although i do understand why some people would think so)
So yeah, based on the context and on what happened in episode 14 its safe to say that it is about ghira and blake

Oh my God, this song being between Ghira and Blake makes much more sense (the intensity wouldn't be like this with Sun), and it makes me SO happy that Blake's Part II is like this, God. This is beautiful.

I personally love the first few seconds of this song.
The triumphant sounding version of the "From Shadows" leimotif is just so nice sound.
This is why I ship Blake and Sun. I feel like they had a great dynamic. Sun was always there for Blake. He literally snuck onto a ship just to help her out. Yang helped Blake in a similar way, so it’s not the worst ship possible.

The opening to this song always gives me goosebumps, hearing that originally foreboding yet graceful leitmotif resolved with beautiful accompaniment really helps you feel the weight of Blake and the White Fang’s arcs.

After listening to this so many times I’m kind of getting a new view of this song. It sounds a lot like a relationship between 2 people that love each other. They’re on the brink of leaving each other and then they fix it. They realize that it’s not worth it and become whole again. And they face the world together. Bigger and better than before. Some may not agree with this but it is now what I see from this song

OK so I get why its Sun and Blake but I can't be the only one who envisions Adam and Blake each giving a speech to their respective followings especially with how its only Blake singing the actually uplifting stuff and "Sun" has the lines "Out of the ashes a new flame ignites" and "We will win this war". Maybe I'm just reading into it too much though.
Well if you look at it Jeff is portraying the male character and it would make sense for when they both sing together for Adam to sing with sun saying The past is gone and soon behind us, Victory through trust and kindness. Booth Jeff and Casey are singing those and Adam dosen't want peace and kindness. Plus it goes with Suns and Blakes character.

Eh, not really, the whole motif of reawakening something from the ashes is *very* seldomly used in negative connotations in fiction (at least in every instance of it I can think of that immediately springs to mind), the ashes here in this context being the original Faunus' rights movement and the feelings and motives that were originally the principles of the White Fang. And war (or struggle if you will) isn't inherently bad, it's all about *why* it's being waged and/or who you're going to fight against...and no matter how you look at it, by that point the only way to redirect the course of the White Fang at that point was through a fight and removing Adam from the scene, whether that be through simply taking away his power and imprisonment, or his death, would only be accomplished by subduing him and whoever would follow him through force of arms.
Ive always loved the hope this song has.

I feel like this song shows how far Blake has come. No longer the girl who would attempt to keep anyone else from getting close to her out of fear of them getting hurt, now she will stand together with her friends to overcome their enemies.
The reason, why I think this is about Sun and Blake and not Ghira and Blake (when I first read that in the comments I didn't even understand how can people think that xd) is that this song resembles From Shadows alot. And Sun kinda took the Adam's place in Blake's life. The faunus guy, who is Blake's partner (I know, only for volume 4&5, cause now Blake returned to Yang) in the fight for the faunus rights. So I think, this is the Sun version of the "From shadows".
Honestly, I think some hardcore Bumblebee fans just trying to deny everything between Sun and Blake. Those people act like Sun and Blake are not even friends at all. So if it's not Sun, but a male voice, let's say.. Ghira! But thankfully that's just a small piece of the Bumblee fanbase.
And some other people think it's Ghira because it's about the White Fang, and now Ghira is the leader. But I still say it's Sun :D.
Personally, I think it's Ghira because that's who Jeff Williams says it is.
Trying to imagine Sun and Blake actually singing it as a form of a speech (maybe in some kind of RWBY musical) was one of best decisions I made today. Because at 0:26 my imagination created a choir that appeared from behind some kind of stage they'd be standing on just to sing "Over". And then I had to pause to laugh for almost a minute.
