Thank you for this video I'm a dad and so many of these potty bootcamp training mom blog vids are either too short and not informative or way too long with a lot of weird advice, one with four ladies sitting on a couch talking about balls and getting peed on their face I just couldn't past two minutes, yours was not too long not too short, you got to the point. Our daughter turned 2 on Sunday and we plan to potty train this weekend. We have set aside 4 days to focus on it and I'm hoping we have an experience like yours. I'm due with baby #2 in September so fingers crossed! I'm most nervous about outings in the beginning. Even the thought of the drive to daycare on Tuesday morning is making me nervous. We are on the go on normal weekends, so I hope it won't be as bad as I'm expecting.
Started potty training my 20m old. With this. So far * hopefully*. Good. First day was rough accidents about every hour on the floor. Not one success in the potty . The next day was one half success but he realized when he was going to pee and started doing a potty dance. 3 rd days 2 1/2 success. Does the potty dance in the poop dance. Now on day 4... 1 full success! After doing potty dance! Yay! And a few half.. progress is progress. The only problem I’m having is the poop in the potty I think he’s scared. Which I’m trying. But good thing he’s already night trained and nap trained. He was like that at about a year old.
Such good tips mama!! I love the positive parenting approach! I just uploaded my video of tips for potty training too! Love how each mama has different things to help because each kid is different!
She was a little nervous at first, but it's so important to practice at the places you frequent (grocery store, Target, wherever you go a lot) so they get used to it.
we got a little seat topper for public restrooms. During potty training i took her to the public restrooms that we would frequent anyway - Whole foods, target, etc. to get used to it.

We bought the book, read it from cover to cover and this method did not work AT ALL for us.

I believe they were taking her to the bathroom every hour in preschool while potty training
