Booked off a week to do this. It took 2 years. Our whole house was destroyed. Ended up seeing a pediatrician and an occupational therapist who both said some kids don’t develop the brain bladder connection until after 4 years of age. Our son is 4.5 and still has constant accidents. While videos like this can be informative, if it didn’t work for you, you are not alone, you are not a failure, a medical doctor said this is not anything you are doing wrong, it is a biological issue.
Thanks for your comment LM. Our son is 3.5 years old and very resistant to potty training. I still can't wrap my head around the best way to do this amongst our busy life.
@@nathandyck2558 ditch the diapers! Ditching the diapers gives them a natural consequence when they have accidents without you having to do any discipline. Then have them help you clean up the accident, and have him change himself. All that work will most definitely make him want to start using the potty(if he hasn’t already)
Thank you so much! I have introduced potty training before, but had not been consistent enough. My toddler boy is a few months away from turning 4. I watched your video this morning and I work full time, so I only had the evening to work with him. I did what you said. He learned wet VS dry right away! No accidents and 1 successful pee just in time for bedtime. THANK YOU! Biggest takeaway was (1) stay right near them as much possible to keep a close eye and (2) Remain patient and positive, do not BRIBE, more patience and (3) be consistent. Tomorrow still awaits me but this was the motivation I needed!
This method worked for our family. Day 1 was tough, as expected. Day 2 was even tougher. But by Day 3 my toddler (27 months) was telling me she had to go potty and successfully peed 7 times with NO ACCIDENTS- her underwear stayed dry the entire day. I am so grateful for this video and this method for potty training.
So just took a leap of faith and completely removed the pull ups and panty always pads for naps. I felt that i was confusing my daughter. There was a lack of consistency from night and day. I realized that the point is to make her uncomfortable when she has a accident regardless of night or day. I noticed that when she peed in the always pad while she was in the bed for a nap or bedtime she would refuse to go back to bed because she thought the bed was wet since i did not need to change it. This caused a lot of anxiety for my 2 year old. I realized that she really did not like being wet. And i realized I was doing a disservice to her and causing confusion and unwanted anxiety. I had major dad guilt for a few days and came to the conclusion that i had to do this cold turkey with no crutches. So I pulled the trigger and complete removed those from the equation after day 2 and Thought it was going to be a nightmare. I thought i would have a wet bed every night and naps. But holy cow... I was super surprised. It completely was the opposite. She totally got it. She realized that in order for her not to be uncomfortable she had to hold her pee... for both day and night... she is completely potty trained for both day and night, this took about about a few more days I would say about 5 days in total. She still has accidents once in a while, but last for the last two nights she has not wet her bed. she got up and at 4 am and got mom and dad to take her to the potty and then went back to bed. Keep in mind my daughter is turning 2 years old next week...It was incredible! My wife and i were dumb struck how well this was going.. Please.. to all the parents that are out there just go full bore and remove the pull ups from the equation. It may be scary but my daughter is way more confident in telling even her baby sitter. "Hey i have to go potty". We recently had our neighbor baby sit and had my daughter over at her house playing with her kids and she was not scared to say i need to go potty and even did number two (in the potty) in a other persons house .. Thank you so much for all your advice... I plan on doing this same approach with my 1 month old when the time comes..
Feeling so much empowered after watching this ! I appreciate you and you’re such a wonderful mama ! Please send positive vibes and prayers my way to anyone reading this and sending right back to you !
We did everything modeled in this video and it worked for my 2.5 year old daughter in ONE day!!! She was very ready which a huge factor, but I’m so glad I stumbled onto this video because it went so smoothly for us using all of these tips.
Yay! I am so glad that the Method worked for you. Congrats to your daughter for working so hard. And I am glad my tips helped make the process a little less stressful.
@@nishasaini02Sorry, just seeing this now. She just did it on her own! We were doing pull ups for a couple nights at first but she was always dry in the morning so we just ditched them and did undies.
Watched this video on Monday, got the ebook on amazon and read it, got everything I needed the same day, and then potty trained starting on Tuesday. It worked! It’s now Friday and my boy is staying dry all day and independently going to the potty. Night is a different thing, but that’s difficult and I don’t think it’s time for him to be able to go all night without peeing yet.
i can fully say, this video has helped me train my 2 year old wonders. she did it in the 3 days. first day, wasn’t so good. second day, she did well. and third, she is doing it all on her own! i believe in this video. thank you so much for this!☺️
This video absolutely saved me because I was struggling with potty training my son. Thank God for you and this method. We are a week and two days in and he’s going on his own from routine. He’s not even bet wetting.
I initially liked this video, but I've changed that. This method worked to help our 2-year-old use the consistently potty during the day (the method took us probably 5 days, not 3), but he was not able to sleep through the night without waking up and claiming he needed to use the potty.
I am a Grandma helping to train what will likely be our last Grandbaby. We took our 3 1/2 year old for preschool at the YMCA today to find that while he is toilet trained to know his body cues, get his pants and unders down and most often, get onto the toilet, wiping after a poop is just out of his lexicon yet, in fact, he thinks - nay SAYS - "it's YUCKY, YAYA!" I'm looking for some guidance on this so he can join his preschool group. I'll continue to research this AND wanted to let you know this is a delightfully filmed and presented video. Well formatted and extremely informational, your smile, interaction with Isaac and and enthusiasm for complete prep and commitment made me wish I had done this with Jonathan from the get-go! Thank you so very much! The best part is we too have a train park nearby that Jonathan loves! Well done, Actively Family!
Thank you so much for your comment Jesse! It sounds like your grandson already has a huge head start potty training. Good luck finishing his training so he can get back to enjoying preschool. Thanks again.
Just potty trained my 2.5 year old daughter using this same method and it worked great for us! I liked having her tell me when she needed to go rather than me constantly asking. First day went through 6 pairs of undies but second day had only one accident and third day none! And we had success with #2’s as well!! Each kid is different so find what works for you! Thank you for such good ideas and info! The way you laid out this video was so easy to follow and understand!❤️
I am 12 and potty training my autistic little brother because my mom doesn't have time to because she has 10 kids and I'm here looking for advice. Update: I am 14 years old now and my brother is 4. He is now completely potty trained and able to express his needs clearly. In spite of the fact that he does need some extra assistance when it comes to using the potty, I think he's doing great. The amount of work and effort I put into him left me incredibly drained, but I couldn't be more proud of him. My mom has also put me in online classes so I can help my brother but I spoke up and I'm no longer doing that. I take my education very seriously and I graduated eight grade this year, top of my class. Having become older and more mature, I have realized that it was unjust for my mom to place such responsibilities on my shoulders. I appreciate your concerns but I'm unsure of what to do, considering I'm all he's got. :/
Girl same am 12 and am forced to take care of my little brother bc my mom has no time and he has 3 holes in his heart s ok that's why am taking care of him if I don't idk what will happen to him❤
I used the 3 day method with both of my girls and I'm using with my son right now. I love the 3 day method and found it works amazing. BUT I wait until my child between 2.5 and 3. Right now my son is 23 months and today is day #1 and he had 1 accident this morning and has went to the potty 4 times ever since. He started to cry after the first accident and decided he didn't like being wet all over his legs and feet and has went to the potty ever since. My son is autistic and everyone said he would potty train late but he has had the same success as my girls so far. You can definitely start potty training earlier but you will have lots more accidents and will definitely take longer than 3 days to become 100% potty trained. I personally prefer to wait an extra 6 or 8 months to start and get it done in a day or 2. I despise washing carseat covers and changing sheets in the night and washing bed clothes daily. I did the typical training with my oldest (now 11) we started when he was 2 and he didn't didnt get it down until he was 3. I had a year of accidents, but with my daughter I waited until she was 3 and did this method and she trained 100% in 2 days. That sold me. I can do a day or 2 of accidents better than an entire year or 18 months.
My husband sent me this video so I can work on potty training our 2 year old I just wanted to stay by to tell you I use this method and I must say it truly work for me he’s fully potty trained he hasn’t made a mistake since being potty trained truly thankful for you and this video
@@audreywalker3371 ummm the part where you said he sent it so YOU could work on potty training. you didn’t say so “WE” could work on it together. you only said “I”.
After watching this video, I started potty training with my 2.5 years old son, but it didn't work him (I tried for it for a week). So I stopped. And after a month I started potty training again, but with different method . And finally after less than 3 months he's potty trained. I'm so happy that this period is over
First I bought him a book about potty training , so we started to talk about peeing and pooping a lot 😀 Then I took him to choose and buy the potty. Then we got rid of diaper (only used it during day nap and night sleep ) and I made him to sit on potty few times a day ( when he woke up , after 15 minutes past breakfast, before and after napping , and after dinner and so on). In first 3 days he used to sit on potty whenever he wanted to poop. But we still had problems with peeing. It was during summer and when he peed his pants I guess he didn't feel discomfort and it didn't really bother him. But finally when October started and the weather got cold , he started to tell me he wants to sit on potty ( even so it was right after peeing his pants). But it helped me to track the exact time to make him sit on potty beforehand. It was an hour and 15 minutes for him at first, so I made him go potty every hour and 15 minutes. Then we made it to long hours. And in a week so were already potty trained . We still have accidents once in few days, but he is not even 3 , so he will grow out of it. The main problem is with going outside. Whenever we go for a walk or parties , I put him on diaper, but he only wants to go to his own potty, not to public toilets, not to his diaper , but only his potty. Whenever he wet his diaper it ruins our training for one week. But we go back the routine again. Hope I could explain it 🙂
Thank you so much for this informative video, my mother sent this video to me and it has been a God send because my two year will be 3 in a week and has the vocabulary of 7 year old. I have tried so many methods that I have failed but I am definitely eager to try this 3 day method. With much prayer, patience and determination I believe it will work.
Children learn by observation, I had two boys and they learned by observing the potty bowl , my first son wanted to go potty and there was the potty sit, he just went and sat on and went all by himself, the other one was two years old and picked it up real fast, I didn't have to show him nothing, it was a plus for me. I believe that children learn by speaking and explaining to them. The mind has to process first, you see the brain is the one that tells you it's time to go potty.
Used this with my first right before he turned 3 and he was fully day and night potty trained by the 4th day! Starting soon with my second just after she turns 2! I will never potty train any other way after watching this.
My daughter just turned 2 last week, we tried this method and are one day 3. She's going to the potty by herself with few accidents. I'm shocked! I wasn't sure the first day...things were rough, but glad I stuck with it. I would recommend going without underwear, it made her much more independent. Once she consistently pees in the potty and keeps the floor dry, I'm going to introduce the underwear. I found it wasted too much time trying to pull them down especially when wet.
Thank you for these tips! I potty trained all 4 of my kids back in the 90's before they were 2 years old. Now I have grandchildren who live with me, and needed some new ideas for my granddaughter who is 2 1/2. I can't wait to help get her trained! 😊
Thanks! I was looking for an efficient but gentle method for potty training since I think my daughter is ready (she's almost 27 months old) but all my friends told me you have to do it in summer bc they have so many accidents, it takes weeks on end, their clothes get wet, etc...but winter is approaching here in the Southern Hemisphere and I think she'll be past the time if we wait until it warms up again. None of them used this method! This sounds great to do in winter, actually, bc you are more house-bound anyways during the colder, wetter months. Going to report back once we do it!
This video was great! No extra stuff that you don’t need. Everything you do need! Simple and easy to follow! I’ll share this video for sure to my fellow potty trainers!
My heart aww his sweet little voice makes me excited about this baby’s only 17 months he doesn’t verbally communicate but he takes off any wet or soiled diapers on his own every time I wish I could catch it before and take him to the bathroom but I’ll keep filling these steps and using any and all advice thank you!!! ❤️
Loved the video! We started potty training our toddler a day after he turned 2, over 4th of July weekend since my husband and I would both be home. We have a covered patio and it was warm so we just kept him outside naked most of the first day. Day 2 we switched to a step ladder potty and that made a real difference. We also gave him an m&m every time he successfully went on the potty, but we skipped the sticker chart/prizes.
Today is my second day it was so good no accidents happened... yesterday there was one. she is trying to say" mommy shall we go to potty " i felt sooooo happy.. no words to say.. thanks a lot .. I wnat to know what to do in night time??.. I'm using diapers for the sleeping time do you have any idea about it??
It’s been five years since I’ve potty trained a kid with this method, so I needed a refresher. This is a great crash course. Thank you thank you! Tomorrow is d day lol
Yes. I would also ad a relatively easy to maneuver house. We have a small townhouse and it is so difficult to run around. I dont even fit in the laundry room. We also have an infant and we are prego... the mental preparation is so needed!
I appreciate your perspective. Mental preparation is definitely needed to potty train. That’s why you have to be fully committed in order for it to work. But it’s worth it in the end.
I watch these videos and everyone's child is under 3 🥲 I started when my son turned 3 bc he showed zero sign he was ready. I had the potty out in our bathroom for months before hand. The farthest I got was him pulling down his pants and sitting. But I'm definitely going to be trying this out ASAP. Thanks so much
Thank you so much, did this exact way, my 21 month old, who before this showed no signs had no pattern is literally toilet trained in 5 days wowwwwwwwww
This guidance has worked so well for us! Brilliant method. Day 1 was all accidents and pretty intense for all of us but he got the concept morning of day 2 and day 3 really understood about feeling for his pee. We didn't put it in the bathroom as whilst this was logical advice ours is too far away and he is now attached to the potty! Over time we will have it only in the bathroom. Thank you!
I tried this method and it worked amazingly well for my toddler who is 3 years ! I am so surprised i was dreading this task. So glad i found this video

He had no accidents day 3, so she is fully potty trained. Day 4 she started to go by herself. She still comes to me sometimes, but she mostly goes on her own. I'm so proud!
These are such great tips! I noticed Orbeez are on the list of activities and just wanted to comment that water heads are not safe for children. My sweet friend just lost her 10 month old due to an unknown ingestion of a dried water bead. It blocked her airway in her sleep. Please parents consider not using water beads in your home!
I want to say thank you so much for your help in potty training my 2years old baby I will try to follow every word you said hopping it will go well this helped me a lot
Epic ! Well constructed video. You were straight and to the point. Also, I loved how you demonstrated for us with your own child. So helpful and cannot wait to try this method in the future for my new addition. May my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ bless you and your beautiful family.
Making them wait for a prize after 5 stickers is a wonderful idea. My kid thinks he gets a prize just for trying which was frustrating, so this gives them something to work toward.i like it. I'm gonna try it this weekend when we try again.
Thank you so much for sharing, I particularly like your video becos of how detailed it is, not just talking but sharing how your kid did wee wee and no. 2. I've just started the toilet training before watching this video but will adjust to follow
Thanks for the compliment. I agree with you that a little preparation and planning beforehand can help set you up for potty training success. Good luck on your training!
I think this just worked out so well for him. My lil girl never got the signal when i wore her only panties. She did it in them cos she felt she still had nappy on. What worked for me was leaving her bare for 3days. Today she’s a super star.
This worked great for peeing. By day 2 my son was using the pot by himself and very excited about it. But with pooping he dives under the bed and poops in his underwear before we can catch him. The control and timing to pull this off is actually pretty impressive. We know he's ready to #2 in the pot, but avoids it like the plague. Is there any advice for this scenario?
My daughter is doing the exact same thing. She makes it to the bathroom to pee but poops in her pants. We're on day 3 now...maybe she will get it tomorrow? Lol
With all the details included, I'm shocked that mealtimes were never shown/ addressed. Literally in day 1 right now, and very confused about what to do during mealtimes- I started heating up pre-made food after an accident so I thought we would have a longer window without pee. But he still went pee in his high-chair, but because of the tray I didn't see it. I bought the Lora Jenson book, but no mention of how to handle this. Hopefully we can stick this out for the 3 days.
Good point. Mealtimes went about as normal for us. I can see how the high chair tray would make it hard to see. Just keep asking if he is dry and taking him to the bathroom when he shows any signs.
Watching from Nairobi, Kenya. It was much easier potty training my first born took me only three days, he was about 23 months old. Now I'm training my second one (20months old) and so far not so good. Hope this works!
Awesome tips, thank you. I'm not throwing the diapers away since diaper pantries and others always need them, but my twins can put them in the donation box. Thank you!
We’ve been doing the “Oh Crap!” method and I just don’t feel like my toddler is getting it. I think we will switch to this method. Thanks for this video.
What a beautiful family you have! Thank you for this🙏 My 4 yr old seems just dead set on continuing to use a diaper and I and take it anymore. I will try this! Thank you again✌
I love the method younger demonstrated! You did a tremendous job and f showing how to train a child. You made this so positive and encouraging! Your style and behaviors are simply wonderful. However, there was no hand cleaning when he flushed his poop handled the toilet. You went immediately to his hands 🙌 in his skittles jar. This would ld help a child and the see the correlation with hand washing after touching the toilet and handwashing. Other than the point about hygiene, this was an awesome video. I am definitely well-trained and ready to potty train my brands! This ua
Thank you so much for making such an informative, clear instructed video! I will be incorporating all of your personal tips and tricks as well as reading the book. My daughter just turned 2 and we are ready to potty train!

I was so inspired by this video! I bought all the things and within the first couple hours my 3yo son got the hang of it! He was telling me every time he had to go. Woohoo!! But I have a question, he tells me he has to go even tho he just went 5 minutes beforehand and it’s for the tiniest bit of pee just so he can get a treat. Mind you, I have not bribed him at all. Any advice?
I would still take him to the bathroom anytime he goes to the bathroom. You are rewarding him telling you. The rewards will wear off once he is fully trained so I wouldn’t worry too much about rewarding a specific amount of pee. I think every little success should be celebrated.
I love this video and is so informational and encouraging for me! I have been trying to train my daughter since before she turned 3. She turned 3 in October. So she will go every once in a while and I am dreading it but I know it’s something I have to do. The whole thing is that I work and I can’t seem to rely on others to do it. Not sure her dad has the patience for it lol. My son on the other hand is interested too and he just turned 2. So thank you for this. I will be buying candy, prizes, and undies soon!
I am so glad that you found the video helpful. You are so right, no one wants to go through potty training but the results will be so worth it. It’s way easier to do when your kids are ready. Good luck! You got this!
I saw another video explicitly saying not to use rewards (specifically snacks and candies). This is because it’s supposed to be a normal thing we all do and we don’t reward that. Of course there’s multiple techniques that people use and I’ve tried to use rewards but I think I’m going to pivot and not use rewards.
Hi Martina. I chose not to night time train my little guy because he was till sleeping in a crib at the time. The 3 day method ebook explains exactly how to do it.
This was very helpful! I could use some troubleshooting for my strong willed toddler though. He’s almost three and great at going pee in the potty however he REFUSES to sit down on the potty resulting in him never going poop in the potty…. Help!
this is day 3 of my son going potty and im just gonna say , its going really really well i dont need to ask him as much if he needs to go potty he will just run to to toilet fast. love this video thank you.

I haven't potty trained a little in 33 years....but getting ready to start potty training my 2.5 yr old granddaughter whom we are raising. I cannot do the three day method ( wish I could) because I have a family member with stroke I have to care for...BUT she does wake up dry from her naps and we go straight to the potty when she wakes up. She got undies for Christmas so we are going to work hard at home and at Mimi's house and hopefully by summer we will be trained. Wish us luck lol
Your grand daughter sounds amazing! The fact that she wakes up dry from naps and goes potty is wonderful. Getting new undies is always a treat. I wish you luck!
I absolutely love this video! My question is… you never did mention how old your son was exactly when you did train him. I know Lora highly recommends waiting until the child is 22 months old, but I plan on training my 20 month old later this month. I am hoping maybe your son was also around 20 months?

Watched this video on Monday, got the ebook on amazon and read it, got everything I needed the same day, and then potty trained starting on Tuesday. It worked! It’s now Friday and my boy is staying dry all day and independently going to the potty. Night is a different thing, but that’s difficult and I don’t think it’s time for him to be able to go all night without peeing yet.
Yay! I love hearing success stories. Keep up the good work. So glad that your little one caught on so fast.
About to do the same exact thing. Wish me luck! :)

How did you handle nap time?
How old was your boy?
i can fully say, this video has helped me train my 2 year old wonders. she did it in the 3 days. first day, wasn’t so good. second day, she did well. and third, she is doing it all on her own! i believe in this video. thank you so much for this!☺️
I am so glad that you had success training your daughter. Thanks for your comment.
Can you please tell me how did you handle nap time?
This video absolutely saved me because I was struggling with potty training my son. Thank God for you and this method. We are a week and two days in and he’s going on his own from routine. He’s not even bet wetting.
You are awesome!
@@ActivelyFamily ☺️☺️☺️
Are you supposed to put the diaper back on for naps and throughout the night?
I initially liked this video, but I've changed that. This method worked to help our 2-year-old use the consistently potty during the day (the method took us probably 5 days, not 3), but he was not able to sleep through the night without waking up and claiming he needed to use the potty.
Glad you were able to find success.
Yay! Congrats on potty training your little one. You are amazing.
That is awesome that you are helping your little brother. Good luck to you both! You got this.
@@ActivelyFamily thank you so much
Awwwwww
How did potty training go!!?
This was super helpful!
The best video for this subject! The creator did a fantastic job.
Thank you!
My husband sent me this video so I can work on potty training our 2 year old I just wanted to stay by to tell you I use this method and I must say it truly work for me he’s fully potty trained he hasn’t made a mistake since being potty trained truly thankful for you and this video
I am so glad you had success training your 2 year old. Congrats! It’s a lot of work but definitely worth it.
Husband sent it? Hope he helped out too during the process lol👶
@@AdrianaMartinez-zq7bw yes he sent it to me what part did I lose you at ?
@@audreywalker3371 ummm the part where you said he sent it so YOU could work on potty training. you didn’t say so “WE” could work on it together. you only said “I”.
@@gg8723 you got the point tho right 🙃 now let’s MOVE ON good day
After watching this video, I started potty training with my 2.5 years old son, but it didn't work him (I tried for it for a week). So I stopped. And after a month I started potty training again, but with different method . And finally after less than 3 months he's potty trained. I'm so happy that this period is over
Which method worked for you??
Yes what method did you use?
I wish you all the success in the world.
Omg im crying! This is sooo exiting! Im about to start potty training my lil boy! ❤
You are a pro! I agree this is a great way to potty train your kid.
Yay! I am so happy you are having success with your daughter. And I am glad you have found what works best for you. Keep it up!
Thank you for these tips! I potty trained all 4 of my kids back in the 90's before they were 2 years old. Now I have grandchildren who live with me, and needed some new ideas for my granddaughter who is 2 1/2. I can't wait to help get her trained! 😊
Sounds like you are a pro! Good luck with your grandkids.
You can definitely potty train during cooler months. I am excited for you try this method out. Please keep me posted on how it goes. Good luck!
This video was great! No extra stuff that you don’t need. Everything you do need! Simple and easy to follow! I’ll share this video for sure to my fellow potty trainers!
Glad you found it helpful!
My goodness! You are godsend! I was mentally prepping to potty train my 21 month old! Thanks for this!
Good luck potty training! Please let us know how it goes.
Omg this is such a sweet video!! Isaac with his Mommy was the best I am crying 😭😭😭😭 how beautiful
Sounds like your baby is trying to tell you something. 😉 You will be potty training in no time. Glad the video answered some of your questions.
I cant wait to try this I tried the wake up and every 30 minutes after and my baby had no desire to sit on the toilet so im excited to try this way 🤞🏽
I hope you have success using this method. Check back in and let me know how it goes.
Sounds like you’ve got a good thing going! Keep it up.
WOW! I loved your video and will use every tip you suggested! Thank you!!
Glad it was helpful!
I was so exhausted about the potty train... After seeing this video my mind set was change thanks a lot for this awesome ideas..I'll try this method
Good luck! Hopefully you have success. Let me know how it works for you.
Definitely
Today is my second day it was so good no accidents happened... yesterday there was one. she is trying to say" mommy shall we go to potty " i felt sooooo happy.. no words to say.. thanks a lot .. I wnat to know what to do in night time??.. I'm using diapers for the sleeping time do you have any idea about it??
Just stumbled on this video after giving up on my first potty training attempt. I have gotten some tips now and I hope to give it another shot
Good luck! I hope you and your child have an easier time the 2nd time round.
It’s been five years since I’ve potty trained a kid with this method, so I needed a refresher. This is a great crash course. Thank you thank you! Tomorrow is d day lol
Good luck!!!
What do you do when they take naps during the day?
Thanks so much
Did it work
I'm gonna try this method!! Wish me and my toddler son good luck!!
Good luck! You got this.
Thank you so much, did this exact way, my 21 month old, who before this showed no signs had no pattern is literally toilet trained in 5 days wowwwwwwwww
I am so glad this method worked for you too!
I love your positivity! Hope we are gonna have fun through the process too.
You got this!
Today my son turned 2 and after watching this it motivated me so much.
So I am going to start tomorrow !! Yay I’m so excited ! Thank you for sharing
You and your son can do it! Good luck!!
Thank you!
I am so glad that it worked for you and your little one! Keep it up.
I tried this method and it worked amazingly well for my toddler who is 3 years ! I am so surprised i was dreading this task. So glad i found this video
Yay! So glad you and your toddler had success. Potty training doesn’t have to be awful.
Watching this from the UK for my 20 month old daughter. Looking forward to getting started!

He had no accidents day 3, so she is fully potty trained. Day 4 she started to go by herself. She still comes to me sometimes, but she mostly goes on her own. I'm so proud!
I am impressed that you are training your sibling. I hope you had success!
Darn I forgot to update it I'll do it now
one of the best videos on this subject thank you
Thank you!
Good point! Thank you for the comment.
Great video!!! Thank you so much!!! Going to try this out with our 3 yr old son. The only thing is that we work 8-5 M-F. Thank you!
You’re great mom, the kids seem really bright
I want to say thank you so much for your help in potty training my 2years old baby I will try to follow every word you said hopping it will go well this helped me a lot
You are most welcome. Good luck with the potty training!
Epic ! Well constructed video. You were straight and to the point. Also, I loved how you demonstrated for us with your own child. So helpful and cannot wait to try this method in the future for my new addition. May my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ bless you and your beautiful family.
Thank you for your kind words. I wish you the best of luck when you try the 3 day method on your own.
Making them wait for a prize after 5 stickers is a wonderful idea. My kid thinks he gets a prize just for trying which was frustrating, so this gives them something to work toward.i like it. I'm gonna try it this weekend when we try again.
Whatever positive reinforcement that works for you is great. Your child will have great success when they know that they are doing a good job.
That is awesome! I am so glad that you did what works for you and your daughter. Potty training in any form is a big accomplishment.
Good luck potty training your second child. You’ve done it before so you should be a pro.

Great job Mom, he is sooo sweet. High five to him!
Thank you! He really did all of the hard work.
Awesome tips, thank you. I'm not throwing the diapers away since diaper pantries and others always need them, but my twins can put them in the donation box. Thank you!
That is a much better way to do it. Thanks for sharing!

Please can you tell us how it went?
I’m new & will share with my daughter ~ Sam is too young 14 mos but we will start reading.
You are smart to prepare now before it’s time. When the time comes hopefully it’s a positive experience.
This ua
You are so right. Hand washing after every bathroom visit is a must. Thanks for the comment.
Thank you so much for making such an informative, clear instructed video! I will be incorporating all of your personal tips and tricks as well as reading the book. My daughter just turned 2 and we are ready to potty train!

I enjoyed watching this and I know I'll enjoy more doing it with ma lil girl ❤ grateful for you 🎉
How about nap and sleep time? This video didn’t mention what’s the process during nap and sleep. Thanks!
Good question! I would also like to know
Hi. At the time I chose not to night train my little guy. For naps, you just take him to the bathroom right before bad right after.
@@ActivelyFamily so did you put him back in diapers over night? Seems like a really important aspect to not touch on.
Great informative video, sorry if missed it but what did you do for the night time portion? There doesn’t seem to be any mention of it
Help!
Love this! Straight forward and clear instructions. Thank you for this awesome video!
this is day 3 of my son going potty and im just gonna say , its going really really well i dont need to ask him as much if he needs to go potty he will just run to to toilet fast. love this video thank you.
My son is 7 months old and I've started getting him familiar with his potty (bought him a classy one to make it more fun.) My mum potty trained us way before 18 months. I want to do the same if possible. This video has thought me lots. Shared it with my neighbour and sister.
Glad you enjoyed the video. I love your idea of exposing your child to the potty seat early.
So cute 💖💖💖💖💖💖 I love this video, I'm going to try this for my 3 year old ❤🥰
Please do! And let us know how it works for you.
Hiii.my 1st child was started potty training during her 9th month and by 11th month we stopped nappy even during nite...it can be done soon as well..its just important to communicate...😊
So glad that you found success!
Seems like a good method, worth a try. I just need to take a deep breath, gather all my courage and patience . 😮💨

Great video, thank you! Did you do any prompting yourself? Or did you just keep with the phrase “tell me when…” and let him lead entirely?
You are amazing for this. 🙏🙏🙏 THANK YOU

How about at night? How do you train him?
I have 3old toddler and he don't like to pee or poops without diaper .. this video is very informative and helpful.. hope you notice my comment.. God bless 🥰

Glad it was helpful!
I love you for this. Thank you so much this helped us a lot 💗
I am so glad it was helpful. Potty training is stressful enough.
Hi Amber. I potty trained my little guy a few months after the 22 month recommendation. He was already 2 years old when I started. Good luck to you!
@@ActivelyFamily when you changed his diaper in the video was it a Pampers diaper
Thank you for your great suggestions.
