I have both PC and iPad version. I used photoshop for years but saw a video on Affinity and bought them. I was about to give up on Affinity when I accidentally caught one of your Affinity videos. I like the way you filmed this tutorial! Hope at some point you show how to create patterns in the iPad version. I’m talking about having a small square and seeing it reflected as a pattern in a larger rectangle/square at the same time. I know that’s more down the road. Thank you!

It’s been a month I have been looking for app for IPad Pro 12.9 M2 for graphics design cause Corel. Is not pretty much supported on iPad even AI too . Seriously I was confused o buy procreate or anything and today I have found that I can design for my own food products with this app..

I'm currently using v 2.2 on the iPad and I don't find the CONTEXTUAL menu for the Move Tool. I know some are on top, but I don't see things like "Add to selection" "Select under," etc. Thanks for any help! :)

I believe you can go the document icon in the top left... then choose resize...look at the bottom and click the arrow to the right...you will see the DPI ... change it to 300 or whatever you want it to be

This video would’ve been great if it was in full screen without a stupid massive big black boarder around every single edge of it!?? I can’t even focus on it to learn and it’s upsetting how people think and do things like this! I’m watching this on my iPad and it sucks it’s so small and hard to see it you’re obviously a guy who likes to watch widescreen movies and just got used to seeing this but for the rest of us that are bothered by these useless black borders around the things that we are trying to watch it bothers us when you have a full screen to work with and you do this to it and ruin it I would rather not even watch it! Why did you do this just so that we can all see your little TH-cam logo in the corner and not miss it or something so stupid so you make a ridiculous huge black boarder around it for that!? I guess I can try to watch it on my 60 inch TV if that’s how it was designed to be watched so then maybe I can see it in 20 inch hopefully on a 60 inch!?
Here's what happened.... I did a mirror screen of my iPad onto my monitor to record this video... the dimensions of the ipad are not the same as the dimensions of the screen for a TH-cam video so the black side bars happened..... I 'm thinking I need to record top down or something different.... sorry for the weirdness.. this is why I haven't done a part 2 yet... not sure the best way to record an iPad with my set up.... any ideas?

I'm guessing there is no move tool because you can just move things around with a two finger touch and move... two fingers for zoom too.

Yes... An Affinity Designer file type is .afdesign but you can export the files as EPS

I think it depends on the person... I grew up using a desktop and a mouse but my guess is if you use an iPad more then the iPad would be better.
