Rigol DHO924s vs ds1054z while using memory capture AND serial decode.

Again this was a feature that was difficult to do on the old scope but was otherwise working. This is demonstrated with slow 9600 bauds serial signal but this apply to any faster i2c , SPI etc. And I agree that we are in 2024! Sadly I still have to work with industrial/research device with those damned RS-232 ports.

I'm a beginner, and just got into electronics. I purchased the "DHO 804" model.
It would be nice if you could record a beginner tutorial on how to use the scope properly and what should I do with the information I get from it.

Which one batter between ds1104z s plus and dpo900 series ?

Before the 900 came out, I wanted to swap my 1054z for the 1104z+s also. With LA port, the 1104z+ is $200 less than the 914 and $400 less than the 924 at $CAN1K. I now like better the features of the 800/900. If you don't need the function generator and use only 4 digital signal, you get a bargain with the 804/814. Remember video shown here is with a "1104z" at only $CAN460

Quick and dirty for the first videos and easy to point at what you want to show. I do not have any studio material nor did I want to have any, My objective was only to show quickly how this new scope works to help lot people with unanswered questions !
