I had it the other way. I picked a seat card and the teacher accused me of looking into the bag. So it put it back and he mixed all cards up again. I of course told him I did not, he smiled and told me that I would for sure get a better seat anyway. I pulled out the same number again. We both bursted out in lough, there were at least 80 cards in the bag.

    • @YT7mc
      @YT7mc 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@thezen9 you can't actually calculate the probability of the TheLukius21 problem because you don't have enough information. If I read your math correctly for the first problem (2 people left and right) - which I may very well not have - it assumes he is sitting in a circle (single file). He almost certainly wasn't, as no exams I have ever seen do this. The reason he would need to be in a circle is that if he were on the far left/right then there wouldn't be people left/right of him. As to the second problem if he were in the front or back the same thing would occur. You would need to know the exact lay out of the seats to calculate, and also remember that not everyone is in the same classroom. Later I'll do the math on it, right now I'm on mobile and don't have the means to.
TL;DR Math hard, not enough info, I'll figure it out later. And what I said earlier is still true.

I moved from Bosnia to Germany 5 years ago, at the age of 15, and my best friend from then on was a turkish boy that I met in my class.
As we became more friends we started to talk about or families and such. Once I was at his place I was talking with his mother about Bosnia Turkey and such, and I mentioned to her that my great great great great grandfather (like my grandfather fron 200 years ago) was from Croatia (Varaždin, a city near Slovenia), but he fled to Bosnia after killing a ottoman (turkish) general when they were occupating his city.. His mom told me that her great great great grandfather from his mothers side was a ottoman general, and he was killed in the Varaždin around the same time by a croatian man who was never caught...
My great great great grandfather killed my best friends great great great great grandfather..
Now let that sink in, they moved in the 1960s from Turkey to Germany, and we moved in 2014 from Bosnia to Germany, to the same city, same class, and we became best friends

Living in Dallas at the time. Met a beautiful girl who had just moved to the city from out in the sticks 100 miles away. I asked her out. She goes out with me, and the date is horrible. She was biatch the total evening. Turns out her mother had encourage her to go out with me as a way to make friends in the new city. I took her home early, and forgot about it.
On a road trip four months later, I stopped at a mall in a city about 3 hours away to buy a CD. I met a beautiful girl in the store. I asked her to lunch. We were having a good time, though she was still a little reserved. She told me where she was from originally. It's the same town as the first girl. I told her that I know a girl named so-and-so from there. Her body stiffened and the color drained out of her face as soon as I mentioned the first girl's name. Turns out the first girl was this girl's arch enemy, and the reason this girl had moved so far away to where she now lived.
That was that. Whatever interest she might have had for me evaporated. She beat a hasty retreat back to her store. It was the damndest coincidence.
First girl ended up becoming a stripper.

My friend and I went on a flight from Vienna to Amsterdam yesterday. First we booked a direct flight but they changed it so that we had to take a plane to Zürich, Switzerland and then go to Amsterdam from there. Anyway, we met a nice dutch gentleman on the bus in Vienna, who was supposed to fly to Zürich as well. We had a small chat and thought that was it. Then we got reunited at the airport in Zürich right in front of the gate for the flight going to Amsterdam. We chatted again, then said goodbye etc.

    Long, but 100% true story:
I was walking with my bf at the time, and we went past his back porch on the way to the gate. It was mid-evening, so it was dark and the porch lights were on (there were four light bulbs in a row). Completely out of the blue and I still don't know why I did it, I turned my head in a weird mechanical way (I remember it feeling unnatural), looked at one of the bulbs, reached my hand in it's direction and said, "pwshh" like an exploding sound as I closed my hand. The light bulb exploded. My bf witnessed the whole thing and, shocked, said, "Did you just do that?" I was like, "I guess I did, haha," nervously joking. He stared and I said, "No of course not!" He said, "Then why did it explode right after you reached out and, like, crushed it with your hand? Did you do that with your mind?" I was wondering the same because that's exactly what it looked like I did, and it was hard to explain that's not what happened. I was like, "I really don't know, seriously, but it's just a coincidence. It just happened to be about to go out." He was like, "It didn't go out, it frickin exploded. That's not normal for light bulbs. But okay." He accepted the explanation because it couldn't really be explained.
About three weeks later the two of us are hanging out with a friend of his and decided to all walk down the street to get pizza. It was about the same time at night. We walked by the porch and the friend said, "You have a light out," and my bf says, "Yeah, she did that," and started saying I had magical powers. As we walk down the block my bf is telling the story to his friend. At the end of the story the friend said, "No way!" And bf said, "Yeah, she just reached out her hand, closed her fist and went 'pwshh' and she exploded it telekinetically. Show him!" I said, "Yeah," turned my head toward the front porch lights of one of the houses we were passing, reached out my hand, closed my fist and went, "pwshh."
One of the bulbs instantly exploded. The three of us stopped dead in our tracks. We stared incredulously at one another for a long moment, then bf says we better hurry up before I get in trouble for that. As we're super fast walking toward the pizza place my bf fast walks next to me and says, "Don't do that anymore, that's really bad."
TL/Dr: Made a crushing motion with my hand toward a light bulb and it exploded. Did exactly the same thing a few weeks later to a different light bulb in a different location, and it also exploded.

@@cantonnier @The.Frozt.One Idk, I've told this story several times and everyone seems to think it's like a manifestation of demonic influence working through an open channel or portal that I need to avoid the temptation to use. Also I can't "make it work" when I want, or I don't know how it works or what to do to make it work on purpose. I actually purposely tried doing it like 5 or 6 extra times after the second bulb exploded, but it didn't work except once, so I've only done it a total of roughly 3 out of 10 times. The only thing I could think of that was the same each time it worked was being completely clear minded, relaxed, and kind of unconcerned if it didn't work, and/or "knowing" it would happen without really thinking about it, it's hard to explain. Like I'd seen it happen in a movie before and I was watching the movie again and so I just "knew" this was the part in the movie when the light bulb exploded.

@@MrFlameRad Yes, only once out of a bunch more times. It was so passive. It seemed like the more I concentrated or "tried", the less it felt like it was working. It was like a complete disconnect. Once only did I barely think about it like I was trying to fool myself (or my own mind) completely zoning out and thinking about something completely different did it work, and I'd turned my mind so much against that specific thought that when it actually happened that one time it was much more personally frustrating than anything else, like it was mocking me at that point. It was in a parking lot late at night and I was very tired, in a bad mood and alone. I just looked over at this row of lights (it was a strung up bunch of lights around an empty lot - like it was being taken down after being a temporary pumpkin patch or Xmas tree lot or something) and as a completely stray and spontaneous almost "afterthought" I did it and one of the bulbs kind of cracked and smoked a little but I'm not even sure if it went out. That's not the only time I've "made something happen" that way - it's exhausting and very upsetting and draining though.

Di Di Bee It’s like people who bend spoons or objects with their mind.. as what you would call “Magic”, it’s just mind power... people are born with different abilities and “gifts” based on past merits in previous lives and such... people like yourself just don’t know how to control like you explain in this incident.. (idk what you believe in religiously and such) ...as a Buddhist like meditation and such, can increase your mind power and help anyone concentrate overall..unlocking “knowledge” or undiscovered science of “magic” with enlightenment if achieved like Buddha..but also meditation overall no matter how little can help if done enough...idk what people are saying about “demons” and such...but maybe spiritual in a sense...it’s maybe not wise trying to do this if you don’t have it fully under control or know what causes it.... just remember according to science Humans only use 10% of our brain’s potential, Einstein used like 30%..so you can see in retrospect how much mind power Humans can do

I have a really similar story to 11:01
In my year 2 French class we were watching the Hunchback of Notre Dame. Just as a joke, I said to my friend that I was sitting next to, “Hey look there’s Belle!” (From beauty and the beast), as a joke because both stories are French. Then out of the corner of my eye I saw an Easter egg of Belle walking through the town reading her book

It was the exact same one, and if that isnt enough of a coincidence we later ran into my father's best friend and his family inside the park.. It's a new car for me so don't know where all the switches are and had no idea how to turn the lights off. Looked everywhere i could think of but had no idea why they were on or how to turn them off. Got out the owners manual which is huge. I've never seen a owners manual so thick. At least 500 pages (It's over an inch thick of very thin pages). I take it inside and randomly open it. It opens to the exact page that describes where the switch is. I go out and turn off the lights.

In music class we were playing 'guess who.' it was played with drums
a person (called the guesser) would leave the classroom, and the teacher would pick someone (Idk what it's called) that would come up with a drumming pattern for the whole class to play. Once the while class started to play, the guesser comes in and guesses who came up with the drumming pattern. The chosen person has to change the pattern every 10-30 seconds. The guesser has 4 guesses to find out the chosen person. NOW ONTO THE STORY:
The school year just started when this happened. One day, the teacher had chosen me to be the guesser. After the class started to play their drums, I went in (you can hear the drums right outside the door). I didn't know who to pick so I just picked the new kid. My classmates (including my teacher) stopped playing in shock. My teacher said "HOW DID YOU KNOW???". It took me a few seconds to realize that I've chosen the right person.

Dude OMG! So one day in hs my band director pulled me aside at the end of the period, told me he wanted to see me. Proceeded to go down to the band office after school thinking I was in trouble and literally just waited around for like 15 min with other band kids in the office while he talked to other teachers in the hall. Finally talked to him and he said he didn't know why, but he had a weird feeling to keep me after. Walked home via same exact route as I did every day, (lived like two blocks away from school at the time) but that day it was quiet af, like not a soul outside on my block. Middle of day, like 3:30pm, & like near summertime. Got inside my house and my brother ran at me asking if I was okay. Apparently there was a really violent gang shootout on our block in front of the house that lasted a while before the cars sped off not even 10 min ago. Still believe if my band director hadn't kept me after I would've been caught up in that. Suffice to say I started switching up my route home after that lol

I was 19 and walking through the house I grew up in for the last time before basically being abandoned, it was empty, nothing was in the house at all. I opened a closet at the end of the hall and my wallet was there sitting on top of shelf. not really a coincidence, just weird, especially if it sat on that shelf for all those years. Mind you when I was 15 I left my family to go out on my own. I came back to town when I was 19 and sort of broke in to the house because nobody was there. I knew no one lived there anymore and it was abandoned... so weird.

Turns out my girlfriends family has also been going there for just as long. We had never met or seen each other till 2 years ago. We must of walked past each other so many times without realising it. The first time we did meet I was completely naked, nothing like a first impression. I didn’t see her again till the following year. Following year comes and we get talking and that’s how we realised we have been holidaying together for years without even knowing it. Kinda funny how I never saw considering she’s beautiful. 😁

The tables are full so we sit at the bar, which is not something we would usually have done. We chat it up with this awesome bartender, as the night goes on it becomes apparent that this man is also from south Chicago and went to a different high school as my mom (they were the same age). And that during one football game between the two high schools they had kissed. My son got a red balloon and he wrote, "granny" on it with a black marker. As we left the restaurant, the balloon got away and floated way up into the sky. 3 days later, walking to school, there's a deflated red balloon laying in the grass. We joked about what if it was the same balloon but walked on. Went back to pick him up from school that same afternoon and the balloon was still sitting there, we decided to pick it up and check it. It was the same balloon!!! This balloon floated back from another city and rested in the grass on the way to my son's school!

This was several years ago. A lady and I had planned on participating in an evening volleyball game at a church. I agreed to pick her up on my way there. She gave me her house address, and I thought nothing of it until that evening when I pulled onto the street in her addition, and not only did all the houses look the same, but their address numbers weren't easily visible, if apparent at all!
I drove up and down the street a couple times and eventually gave up. I decided to just pull into one of the driveways, go up to one of the houses and ask if they knew this lady and which house might be hers. I mustered up some courage, because some people can be quite put off with visitors, especially at that time of day. As soon as I knocked on the door it opened, and it was her!! She must have thought I had the oddest look on my face, but when I told her what happened later she seemed nonplussed.

Once I was on a preaching and it was about God's personality. What was pretty intense was that at one point the preacher said "God has sensitive heart" and as soon as the sentence went out of his mouth, the power went down. A couple of minutes someone said that the entire city is experiencing a blackout. After about 20 minutes power went back and the preaching continued. Felt to me like God tried to make a point during that preaching.
Also in my church I quite often experience that I have a question about God to ask to the pastor but the pastor answers it in the preaching BEFORE I get a chance to talk to him.
And also I love chicken :D Especially the chicken breasts.

I moved away to San Francisco when i was younger, and then moved back to the original city i left from, met a guy who was pretty cool named Steven. We talked for a little bit, and it turns out that his parents bought our house when we moved out. Wild.

I once meet a friend in Europe. It was a small village with less than 200 people in it. We some how ran into each other on the same day at the same time and recognized each other. Neither of us live in Europe.

I once got a book from the public library and never finished reading it, returning it with my bookmark in between the pages. At the time, I didn't know. A few weeks later, I can't find the bookmark and think that it's somewhere in my room. Then I go to the library and pull the book out of the self again and flipped through it. My bookmark was still there.

Growing up me and my family (my mom, brother an I) moved around ALOT in new jersey for financial reasons. At one point we ended back in my family's home town. On my first day of school I met this skinny kid who also liked nerdy stuff. After school my mom and grandma asked me how was my first day at school and I told them "Oh yeah, it was nice. I made a friend named Sullivan(not his real name)" and they both stopped. And looked at me and said "Sullivan...?...ask him what his last name is"
Turns out, my new friend was the son of my mom's childhood friend. They figured it out because Sullivan was also my mom's childhood friend's name. There were so many public schools in my city so what were the odds of my family getting an apt near a school that their childhood friend's son attended.
    We're still good friends

We were on a cruise and went on an excursion in Cozumel Mexico, everyone was split into smaller groups. Like 2 families per group. The other family we were with were from the same city, St. Louis Missouri. And somehow it got brought up the guy forgot to mail in something to his insurance agent. I have no clue how, but my uncle was his insurance agent. Super coincidence

My wife and I are Canadian, and two years ago we travelled to New Zealand. We were standing outside a winery on Waiheke Island waiting for the bus to take us to the next winery on the tour when I saw a man standing nearby wearing a Toronto Maple Leaf ball cap. I wandered over, introduced myself and we started chatting. It turns out that they were a group of three couples travelling together, and all of them lived within 5 miles of our house in Canada, with one of them just around the corner from us. Even better, it turned out that one of the women was the boss of our daughter-in-law at the local hospital. So, we freaked our daughter-in-law out by sending her a selfie of her in-laws standing with her boss on an island 9,000 miles from home.

7:20 - What if someday, I live on the same house that the kids lived in before. That would be an insane coincidence

I was watching a movie with friends when I had to use the bathroom, so I casually stood up and exclaimed "Ok Time Out". Power goes off! Turns out at the exact same time a not so bright fella had clamped the sandwich maker cord in the sandwich maker.

I once warmed up my food in the microwave during a thunderstorm. The microwave would make a short "ding" sound from its speaker, once the timer ran out. Lightning struck and the lights went out, perfectly interrupting the ding. It was so satisfying.
