- Here are some neat samples I've found from the soundfonts I have. There are a bunch I missed and haven't discovered yet, so a second part could happen someday. I hope this encourages you to find cool samples as well and even similarities between different games' sounds.
The same Yamaha preset that is used for the Sonic ring sound is the Taco Bell BONG.
Damn, I downloaded the bong sound and threw it into FL Studio just to test it, and you're absolutely right.
@@Corshba the simulation is breaking down
1:41 That one was used in Crash Bandicoot 2
0:47 IS THAT THE FUCKING BETTER CALL SAUL GUITAR
Really nice showcase, I appreciate the depth of knowledge around them. I wrote 24 songs (one for each hour of the day) only using animal crossing (GC) soundfonts. I thought you might like it. I stumbled into your video when i was wondering if someone else has written music with soundfonts.
That's really cool. Anywhere I can listen? I've also been messing around with animal crossing sound fonts
Toby Fox uses a lot of soundfonts in Undertake
very insightful, wasn't expecting you to have such a wide treasure trove of great sounds. definitely will be adding some of these to my tracks.
1:24 Dude...this is the sample used in Mario Kart Wii's Rainbow Road!! OMG. Do you know where the original drum loop came from?
Nice find! I have no idea where any Crash or Mario Kart Wii drum loops are from. I noticed Rainbow Road's drum loop sounded cool when slowed down in a Vinesauce corruption stream.
it SHOULD be called the "amen break".
Hi, its definitely not the amen break, it is the bobby byrd - hot pants break, a well known break.Hear it here th-cam.com/video/KUJijP8wV0A/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=ArmandoDrumBreaks
@@chombachoo hell no its the hot pants loop
that drum loop is from Bobby Byrd - Hot Pants (produced by James Brown) and is one of the most sampled drums of all time for being played by itself on the B side of the vinyl record for people to rap battle over and was most popular in the early 90s breakbeat hardcore scene in the UK
one time i accidentally found super mario kart original HQ samples in a free soundfont
Wow i wonder if you make crash bandicoot 2 cortex strike back sewer or later with sonic advance trilogies
I recognice alot of the beats from the liquid chem pack from the sims and simcity 3000 and simcity 4
i wish i can get that KH 2 soundfont but its not obtainable anymore
Here's the link to the one I have:

@@Corshba thank you so much
Drum loop 11 from the crash bandicoot sf2 is also in Half Life 1, specifically the song Hard Technology Rock th-cam.com/video/LF9Cr1KW6f8/w-d-xo.html
You should share a zip of your collection since you have it organized nicely! It would be greatly appreciated
I don't want to share other people's soundfonts without their permission, but there are a bunch I got years ago that are no longer available. If there are some you can't find, I'm sure it's fine to share those (like the Kingdom Hearts ones).
@@Corshba small update I never could find some of them like you said 💀
Hey, can I get a download link to kh2’s soundfont?
I've been wanting to start using soundfonts in my work, just never learned how. So FL has a free soundfont player? Good to know
The Fruity Soundfont Player is a plugin you have to install separately, but I'm pretty sure it's free. It only works in the 32-bit version of FL, though, which gets downloaded and updated along with the 64-bit version.
@@Corshba Ok cool, gotcha. Thanks!
is that the voice of the shopkeeper from crypt of the necrodancer at 18:14 ?
Haven't played it, but after listening to a few songs, I'm thinking it's the opera voice from Final Fantasy 6. It's probably a midi track laid over each song. Now I wonder if Ripto's opera samples and the FF6 voice have the same origin...
Wondering from were come the guitar souns of fzero64, witch syntetizer? because looks like the same used in power ranger intro theme (the TV show 1°) maked by composer Ron w.
Amazing!, Where do you get those soundfonts bro?
I got them from various sources. The most common sites to start with are William Kage's SNES soundfonts and Musical Artifacts.
IS THERE ANY WAY I CAN DOWNLOAD ALL OF THESE VRO
I downloaded them all from different sources, so just Google any soundfont you're looking for. I just don't want to share other people's soundfonts to download.
@@Corshba Man i really need to Crash 2 PS1 soundfont, i can't find it anywhere
@@eliasdr This is the one I use: musical-artifacts.com/artifacts/553
@@Corshba Yeah but it doesn't haves the Surf Solo

do you still have access to the kingdom hearts one
I think this is where I got it from. Here's at least a few KH soundfonts: musical-artifacts.com/artifacts?formats=zip&tags=kingdom+hearts
