Trust me when I tell you that I understand how real these arguments can be, lol. My boyfriend and I will hit 8 years in December and this year has been rough and flooded with all sorts of heated and sometimes very silly arguments. I thought something was wrong with us and then I realised there were so many things we had to hash out and establish for the sake of a truly loving and healthy relationship outside of these butterflies we easily confuse for love.

Genuine stuff right there. Women in Aviation generally have controlling personalities that comes with conditional apologies in every argument. I struggle alot to end arguments in a peaceful manner with my girlfriend. I also realized that apologizing for the sake of "moving-on" is one of the key factors of recurring arguments; it's like consuming alcohol: it helps with temporary memory loss of problems but they can never be eradicated. Great work on how you handle your lady Modise, very inspirational. Keep up the good work.

1. What is your opinion on having a partner that is not as faithful to Christ as you? Could the non-believer be sanctified on your behalf therefore absolving them from that duty, although you won't have that important spiritual connection in the relationship? Could it possibly work out even if believing in Christ is the other partner's cornerstone?
2. What's your process for working through a "rough patch", apart from apologizing, how do you ensure that you never return to that place e.g: argue about the same thing again?

To answer your question, YES - we are on the same page and we’re transparent with our income and expenses. We budget together and invest together.
We’re about to enter a sacred and holy covenant with God, under the institute of marriage and one of the key lessons we’ve learnt through marriage counseling is that transparency and communication are crucial for the sustainability and trust of our relationship.
So yes, communication definitely plays a key role in this, but over and above it all, a relationship with and salvation in Jesus Christ is the most vital ingredient in a healthy relationship 🙏🏽👫♥️

We’ve grown to appreciate each other’s individuality and have accepted each other’s aspirations that we easily communicate freely without trying to sugarcoat things.
With 8 years as a couple and God moulding us and teaching is patience, respect, submission and sacrifices I have learnt to simply communicate my feelings and by His grace, God has aligned our attitudes and goals in life.
This is not to say we do not clash in opinions but that we’ve learnt to communicate better.
Marriage awaits us now and we can only place our trust in Him to carry us 🙏🏽

Intimacy for us has always been a struggle and challenge as most couples would experience and though we have slipped up at times, we understand fully that’s born again believers, the grace of God is sufficient for us 🙏🏽
It took praying, fasting and def control to abstain from intimacy because we knew that it’s sinful in the sight of God. Nevertheless, we have always been open to God about it in prayer as a couple and have chosen to be celibate until we get married. 😍💍
We hope to address this subject in more depth through a desperate video and share our experiences, challenges and victory over the temptation of “sex before marriage”. We hope and pray that it will help some couples to make their own informed decision on how to deal with the temptation of sex before marriage, especially as born again Christians.
