It's not about the number of years. We living in a society that put pressure on people to get married, always asking a question "when are you guys getting married". Never fall into that trap . The most important thing is to wait for the right time, God's time to be precise. He is the only one who can guide us and if you put him first in everything you do, You will know when you ready Emotionally, Financially and Spiritually.
It's only God that will come with the right time. FAMBAM you learn until you die, with you both you still learning to know each other. So it's the Almighty who will come up with the thought and still one has to seek from him on what and how to go about it.
That's my little thought though🤗🤗❤❤
Hey RegoDise. My fiancé paid my lobola last year in July, we've been dating since 2013 and people often ask us why he waited so long to propose. People just don't get that as a young couple it's so necessary to enjoy your relationship phase as much as you can before you rush into marriage, obviously if you are dating for marriage you would also talk about it. My point is, I don't regret waiting for that long, we've studied each other enough, we know each other like the back of our hands now 😂♥️

Thanks for sharing. If you can, please advice couples on how to stay pure as they wait for marriage. With all you have mentioned it makes sense that you guys waited 7 years to marry, but how about the purity walk? As Christians we sometimes fall when we are with someone we love and it becomes harder to wait so most couples just want to get married so that they don't sin.
