The sounds you get out of this are fantastic, I am thinking of getting this pedal based on your videos - so thanks. I have the Octafuzz, do you think this is worth the upgrade?
@@pjbarford I think the SM Fuzz is more complete. Plus you have a silicon Fuzz Face that sounds tremendous compared to the isolated Fuzz of the OctaFuzz. Also, with the Bias setting, you can get really cool sounds, like the ones in Scott McKeon's song 'Third Eye Witness'. As for the classic Octavia sound, I like the octafuzz better, it sounds warmer, less shrill. If you can have both, that would be cool.
