- Doyle Bramhall II guitarist for Arc Angels ~ pure talent and one of the best guitarists/musicians ever, along with Charlie Sexton and Chris Layton. Love, love, love their music! Support Arc Angels by making the purchase. It's soul food for ya body people. You won't be disappointed!
This is so damn good!! Doyle Bramhall is one of the best blues players around today, fantastic!!
I seen ARC Angeles,my home town Hamilton Ontario late 90,s Canada..amazing but the years have gone by and got is live together 20 years or more he never sound better his voice is awesome and guitar 🎸 player fantastic
Great googley moogley them boys done stomped a Muddy Water’s mudhole on that stage!!!
"He's alright he's alright"…..Holy hell I love this man...
Damn! Muddy would be proud. Doyle is a monster.❤
I don't know what it is, but he looks mighty fine in that shirt, like a strapping pirate gentleman. And his singing, the guitar playing, and this good song... it just all comes together so nicely.
Doyle did sing and play she's alright just great .
This band is it. The playing from all parties is unmatched. The rhythm section, Doyle and Charlie on guitar, it's just unreal. Just insane. Alright, Doyle kinda steals it on guitar, just stoopid good.
Doyle doing what he does best. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this guy. He blows me away with his guitar skills.
I saw them at House of Blues Disneyland as they happened to be their the same time I was. The perfect way to end a vacation.
Amazing guitar. I've seen him live playing with Clapton and on YT with Roger Waters (In The Flash concert). The version of Comfortably Numb with 2 guitars (Doyle and Snowy White) is probably the most exciting guitar duet I've ever heard.
pjdreamer poland I could not agree with you more. In that comfortably numb vid with Roger Waters, I always say "who's really backing who"??? He freaking kills it …..I hate to compare him with Snowy White, be we know who steals that show….
A really classic rock /blues sound ! Never heard of them but they really kick ass !
soul food indeed i love doyle he is the shit. and having double trouble that just makes it better man.
good music is always tucked away some where.
I just found Doyle and I am in love....wow. He is beautiful and so talented. When I heard him I thought immediately, Jimi
Because this songs riding on the coat tails of machine gun.
Seen these guys in Memphis back in the 90's in a small bar theer where awesome~~~
The dude has some serious talent and some serious command of that axe. The voice reminds me of lynyrd skynyrd, theres some early zz top influence in the riffs too - The 70s is alive and kicking hard, man!
Love the retro acid trip light show! These guys need to make more music together
Great stuff! Saw The Arc Angels last summer at a smallish venue. Outstanding!
Holy Crap!!!!!!!!!!!!
Richie Kotzen's album "Break It All Down" brought me here, this guy worked with him in the album, I guess co-written music... This guy is a nice find
Great song and performing!
Great Band!
Awesome stuff
Hendrix meets the swamp people.. dig it!
exelant!!!!
He is like a white jimi... Awesome
THIS SONG IS FUCKING AMAZING, IN SO MANY WAYS.
That good old Texas boy, Tommy Shannon, Stepping Up there 2 ? Chock.
And lets not forget the wiser talent of them all TOMMY SHANNON > amazing bass player
Doyle is a great guitarist but I think people who have never seen a complete show may not realize how good Charlie is. He tends to take a second seat in most songs but the guy can play.
Just discovered Mr Doyle Bramhall II today!!!! damn....what a voice and guitarist!!! Luv him!!!! big thanks to Sheryl Crow!!! (Summer days video clip!! check him out!!!)
THIS is the shit people. Dig it!
Check out Doyle's album "Welcome" with his band Smokestack. Awesome album, not sure why he isn't a household name after the ArcAngels, Smokestack, and the Eric Clapton Crossroad tours that he's done. No way you get the real Doyle on Sheryl Crow songs. They are both under contract to the same label, probably he had to do it instead of cutting an album.
1Doz, there is a recorded version on the Double Trouble and Friends album
i wonder if Chris Layton has any home, he is on tour with so many great artists?
his home is probably a hotelroom ;)
she's alright, she's alright.
DOYLE ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡
Hawkwind's light show !
I was goin, goin to the army. I was gone great long time. Well, when I come back home, my baby, still says she's mine, still says she's mine....
i guess he wanted some more challenge, because playing guitar came so naturally, so he flipped a right handed guitar and played it lefty ;)
muddy waters would be proud!
You left out bassist Tommy Shannon also from Double trouble
you forgot Tommy !
Hypnotic seduction.
Should have named this song Machine Gun. Oh wait…..
@hananjaverduyn yes correct! she wouldn't be as successful! What a drawcard! I'd only see her if Doyle was touring with her! Sheryl who!?!?
Great stuff! Saw The Arc Angels last summer at a smallish venue. Outstanding!
