Are you kidding me! I have absolutely no excuse for not having seen this before! That groove was so deep i could fill it with water and do laps! Perfection
I can't get enough of Doyle Bramhall II or Gary Clark Jr. They are my favorite guitar guys. I just go nuts seeing them here playing together. It's just so freaking great it gives me goosebumps just looking at them.
Ya just gotta love this rough hewn brilliance. I can't get enough of it, forget polished overproduced rubbish. This is where music gets magical. Love Doyle gesturing to the sound guy to turn Gary up when he starts his solo, not only is that good natured but love also how they mix the song as they go. Good musos do that, they know how to adjust and adapt on tha fly. Still can't believe Doyle strings his guitar upside down! Urgh, wish I had this kinda talent.
Doyle is such a unique player, just a great interpreter of songs. His vocals and guitar phrasing that are perfectly suited to whatever he is performing.
I used to go see his Dad's weekly gig on Lowest Greenville in Dallas back in the early 90s. Damn it! I was surrounded by live music like that on a nightly basis back then. You don't run across that anymore. Time flies & then you die. . .
About time the new/young guitarists got together to show the world that B&W can mesh together in the R&R realm.. Both you guys are opening up the world ! Many thanx !
This was the most fun I had a movie theatre last year. We brought the tickets for like $15 per person, and saw the entire concert with a bunch of others. They had blankets, martinis, and dinner. It was really amazing. :D I can't wait to do it again. You guys should do it if you can't go to the actual festival.
You got an excellent deal for $15!!! In my hometown I was thinking about seeing Duran Duran about 2 years ago...until I found out tickets were at least $95, I decided not to go. They were quite popular when I was in high school. I owned a couple of their albums.
Doyle, I hope you put out a live album from your most recent tour. I really enjoyed it and would love to buy a live recording - the Red Rocks show was one of the highlights my year.
I've been following Doyle for a long long time I met him in Austin Texas back in the early 80's I was playing at a festival with my band Blanco & Blues Underground when the Guiter player in my band introduced me to Doyle said they had played in the same band together and that he was a good Drummer & Singer I ask him to sit in and play some drums and sing something since I was the Drummer & Singer in the Band I could take a break because I had met this hot chick that I wanted to get with so I started our set then I brought him up on stage introduced him and went off stage to rap to that chick I get to that chicks table and before I could even strick up a conversation with the chick he began to sing I was very impressed I really love his vocal ability great Singer & Drummer I didn't end up with the chick that day but I did get to meet Doyle and the honor to hear him sing & play it wasn't guitar that day but a few years later I ran into him again in LA at Norm Rare Guitars and he was ripping it up on guitar he's also left handed but doesn't play a left handed guitar he plays a right handed guitar flip upside down and doesn't restring it the low E is on bottom and the high E is on top thats crazy.
Yeah, What's Renee got, Doyle? Hey, we don't make stupid lies about plastic surgery, Terry and I! Like, sure, Renee--Your eyes just went from hooded to non- because you're "happier now and more relaxed." Bawhaha.
¡Si! I had heard db2 for years with Fabulous Thunderbirds, Arc Angels and Clapton. But when I saw him live (several years ago with the Experience Hendrix tour) I was absolutely mesmerized. I've seen him close to a dozen times since. He and Mato Nanji stole the show IMHO. And interestingly, aside from Doyle's brilliant solo for 'Hear my Train a'Comin' ', they played every song together. I have a theory that it has something to do with how much time they have spent as 'rhythm' or '2nd' guitar. Anyone else have thoughts on that?
A legend who doesn’t care about the limelight just honing his craft
Doyle is one of the most under appreciated guitar players ever. So soulful and groovy.
He did tour as lead guitarist and backup vocals for Pink Floyd.
th-cam.com/video/TkM_pEFViXo/w-d-xo.html
He nails comfortably numb!
@@allenwright9471 Great shootout with Snowy White.
Doyle's playing is ridiculous. Always perfect tone, phrasing and feel.
Couldn’t agree more. The man doesn’t hit a bad note. Incredible guitar player.
He’s a lefty . U just don’t see many it’s a different brain path
This is why I love music! The voodoo child is still alive, so much mojo in one stage.
Ceci Shaw mr mojo rising
Gary, Doyle...don't get much better than that. That was some dirty filth right there...LORD HAVE MERCY.
I can't get enough of this. Probably watched it 50 times. OMFG
me too!
Haha yup me too
me too! 100 times
From a new born star, straight down to Skid Row, then risen again, from "the brown sugar", and now shining more than ever.
Stumbled upon this jewel of 2 great Austin musicians. Love both these guys and they sure play well together!
Are you kidding me!
I have absolutely no excuse for not having seen this before! That groove was so deep i could fill it with water and do laps!
Perfection

Doyle and Gary, doesn't get any better than that.
These two......amazing, have watched this at least 50 times, and will 50 more times. 🎶🎶🎸🎸💖
I can't get enough of Doyle Bramhall II or Gary Clark Jr. They are my favorite guitar guys. I just go nuts seeing them here playing together. It's just so freaking great it gives me goosebumps just looking at them.
Just can’t stand the liberal shit from Gary Doyle is da shit
Wow, this one popped out of nowhere in my headphones. Thank you Google-algorithm for changing my life

Doyle rules. Saw him live a couple of times. Great voice, great feeling.
OMG - I can't get enough of this. My favorite guitar players together-it's a dream come true...
Doyle is such a unique player, just a great interpreter of songs. His vocals and guitar phrasing that are perfectly suited to whatever he is performing.
Doyle Bramhall ll the greatest bluesman!
Incredible psychedelic guitar playing and singing! DBII channels the 60's like no other musician I know.
That wasnt "the 60's" FYI!
@@waynemichaud5143 "Channel" is a term psychics use . It means "to get in touch with." Were you around in the 60's? I saw Hendrix live.
Doyles solo here (those bends....) is some of the best guitar playing I have ever heard.simply ridiculous

YES, Doyle should carry on with the CROSSROADS festival, he and Clapton, Jimmy Vaughn and others, Annual Festival !
Listening this tune for 10yrs and still haven't heard better solos and bends :) My ears is melting.
Jesus Christ. I've got shivers running up and down my spine.
Yep.
Gary has to be one of the coolest looking guitar players out there. Love that guy
Chuck H Wanna be hendrix type of guy, Everyone has to understand that Hendrix is never gonna be topped, period.
@@spaincoolkid you in. panic . 😂😂😂
@@evygrany8592Hahaha
Damn. So I'm a lucky guy. Saw Doyle tonight in a 350 person club right down front.
Was that at Motorco?
jealous. Bring back live music now.
Doyle's solo on a song called "Sent by Angels" on the album Arc Angels is still in my top 10
The spirit of Jimi lives on with these great guys!!
+Gary Clark
only with Doyle.
yeah Gary you're okay too, but Doyle is the real deal.
shut up elad ... your ignorance is showing ...
maurell baxter They both have very special skills. This is awesome .
Doyle is fantastic, his guitar playing awesome,.gary clark is fabulous. Two guitar gods.
DBII still # 1 for me,myself & I
these two are the bomb, real and cool guys doing their thing naturally.
This was the most fun I had a movie theatre last year. We brought the tickets for like $15 per person, and saw the entire concert with a bunch of others. They had blankets, martinis, and dinner. It was really amazing. :D I can't wait to do it again.

Doyle went off at 4:34. It was the pinnacle of his solo. you could see it on his face. wow. gives you chills.
That tone......fantastic, Doyle!
The tension in Doyle's phrasing is goosebumpy..if that was an actual word..nstuff.
That tone is beast!! So pure and raw!! These guys are amazing.
God has blessed Texas with great artist on guitars
2 true and great artists of the blues!
Bloody hell......these two, so brilliant!
The Force is strong in these two.
Doyle Bramhall II is putting down some licks.. "F" ing on FIRE!!
Doyle, I hope you put out a live album from your most recent tour. I really enjoyed it and would love to buy a live recording - the Red Rocks show was one of the highlights my year.
Praying DB's playing Antones again this NY eve, best gig ever! A phenomenal player, the dudes got soul in spades - SRV would be proud!
Did you go to the last ones? Both great shows. Lucas Nelson showed up for a few songs second night hollowen show.

Doyle just tearing it up!
Love the homage to Junior Wells..."Could Have Had Religion."
She's alright. I'm alright, we're alright, no time for hatred, no time for complaining, let the music perform her healing powers.....................
Awesome!
killer tune
Crossroads Guitar Festival - Madison Square Garden - NYC - [April 12th., 2013]
That's what we call artists
Great combination!
Doyle's guitar tone here is fucking completely insane. It doesn't get any better than this.
doyle rules
Damn, Doyle kicks serious ass on this song. Wow!
